Our furnace of 40+ yrs needed replacement and it was suggested we contact MC Heating and Cooling. Throughout the process, we found them to be extremely professional and courteous...their follow-up was outstanding, they were the most competitive in pricing (compared with other bids we received) and the work was completed on time. The entire customer experience was A++++! "Maria" in the office was great to work with.

Our 40 year old furnace decided to die the second week of November. I contacted MC and they came out right away to see if it could be fixed (we knew it was a goner!) and start the estimate process. Miguel provided an estimate quickly and offered us several options regarding the install. Maria at MC was wonderful in keeping us updated on the furnace order and our change requests. I think we went from the call on Nov 8th or 9th to completed install on the 19th - amazing (especially these days!).

My apologies, I cannot remember the names of the men who did the work but they were wonderful! They came right on time, put covers on our floors and were finished by mid-afternoon. They installed a Bryant 2 stage furnace, the prep for the AC which we will do next year and our new Ecobee thermostat. So far, everything is working great. We are very happy with MC and highly recommend them!

This team did our new furnace and Air Conditioning last year. Their work was great and timely. This year I called them because my AC was not turning on, the technician came and did not check my system in the attic, he only reset the thermostat and while the reset worked for the AC but messed with the heater set up and a few days later when it was cold, the heater would not turn on and the technician would not answer the phone. I ended up looking into the issue and setting it up again. So I guess their service level will depend on which technician is sent and that's unfortunate.

We had Miguel quote us on a high priority project on the first week of March. He gave us a lead time of 3-4 weeks. We accepted, the 3-4 weeks went by not 1 update, I followed up -- they then explain they received the wrong unit from the manufacturer. They pushed us to 4/11, understandable these things happen. Would of been nice to have them reach out to us and communicate this to us vs me having to reach out and follow up and find out that way. I again have to follow up on 4/6 to ensure we are on track for the pushed eta of 4/11. They respond - "Miguel does not want to schedule this job yet until we receive the unit since they got it wrong once. So far lead time is 2 weeks, once it arrives then I will follow up with an install date." - so that is again a push to 4/20. We say ok since we already accepted their proposal and have already been waiting, already invested time and effort and have already created a PO. I follow up again, this entire time they never communicate nothing with me. Their response - "Sorry, nothing yet, coming from factory and they are very slow to respond.
You might want to give Miguel a call at 650-670-0887 to find out if there are other options. He is out in the field all day today but you can check in with him around 9am tomorrow." - from 4/12 - 4/21 I am calling and emailing trying to get a hold of him, no answers. I follow up again with the scheduler on 4/21 they ask if I was ever able to speak with Miguel. So I try calling him again to see what the hell is going on. He answered and just says he is not comfortable to work with us and we should go with another company. What in the actual hell?! We just wasted so much time with this guy. He is truly unprofessional. No communication, gives you the run around when you try to follow up. End of the day save yourself stress and time just go with the right people from the get or this will happen. Learn to run a business my guy.

My wife Liliana & I are so happy with the level of service provided by MC Heating & Cooling. We contacted the company for an estimate and had an appointment right away with Miguel, he was extremely knowledgeable and gave me the answers that others were not able to provide me and did so with certainty. What I appreciated the most was that he was honest with me throughout the whole process and did not try to upsell me like others I had contacted. He explained everything with patience and detail as this is my first home and I had several questions. The installation was a few days later and was done same day without incident. His crew were very professional and went over everything they did and things to lookout for in the future. I could tell they truly had pride in the work that they do. I waited a few weeks to post to ensure everything functions well (which it does). We are extremely grateful and would use MC Heating & Cooling again in the future and would recommend them without hesitation to our family & friends. Miguel and Carlos are the finest in the air-con industry. Last year we called MC Heating and Cooling to quote out a ductless mini-split installation in our townhouse (there was no way to install a standard air conditioner). Between the home survey, planning process, and actual installation they stayed in constant communication and kept their word on the cost. The installation went smoothly and the team did a great job.

After a long year of the units just sitting, we had trouble getting them started. Not long after picking up the phone, one of the guys from MC showed up and informed us on how to reset the units (it was just a silly remote issue).

Later on, I decided to see if we could get the units hooked up to WiFi. I reached out and they gave me the necessary information over email. The team at MC Heating and Cooling are truly easy to work with and very reliable.

This brings me to last week where one of my units was not draining properly. Carlos arrived the next day and looked it over. After running some tests, he discovered the pipe was kinked behind the unit. To get the unit off the wall he needed the rest of the team. They immediately scheduled us for the next day and got us taken care of :)

Moral of the story? Miguel and Carlos (and team) are punctual, super knowledgeable, respectful, and very professional. Customer service is beyond exceptional, I cannot recommend them enough. I will most definitely be calling MC Heating and Cooling for any of my future air-con needs.

M/C Heating & Cooling just completed the installation of our new HVAC system this week. I highly recommend them.

Since our San Mateo Village highly inefficient, subfloor, passive gas furnace was original from 1948, and no ducting or vent work was ever done, we assumed dealing with it would be expensive and so we just procrastinated over the years. Then then gas wall heater in the family room extension broke down late last winter so knew would finally have to deal with the situation. We had a wall A/C unit in the bedroom which was also not in prime condition, thought about the increasing high heat days, poor air quality in fire season, and figured might as well go the whole nine yards.

Got one quote that was crazy expensive and then a friend recommended M/C Heating & Cooling. I called and spoke with Maria on a Friday. Miguel came out the next Tuesday, gave his recommendations, and their quote was competitive and reasonable. Its pretty busy now so we were not surprised it took 3 weeks to get on the work schedule. The job was completed in less than two days (all done in the attic). The work crew was friendly, efficient, did a nice job cleaning the work areas both days. And they removed the old wall heater and shut down and safe-made the old furnace which we just left in place. We then got a nice demo of the new furnace blowing hot air for a few minutes, and then even better switched to A/C and felt the whole house cooled down.

MC Heating & Cooling installed our central air back in mid October. Service was efficient and everything worked great! And they had the most competitive quote when compared to others who gave estimates.

Suddenly yesterday our heater wouldn't turn on, and we were worried something happened to our thermostat during that October installation. We called on a Sunday evening and left a message and they were here at 9am Monday morning. Turns out it had nothing to do with their installation and was just a fuse that was broken on our furnace, but they were able to replace it super quick and now we have heat!

TL;DR: We've had great experienced with them from the beginning when we got a quote to a follow-up visit where we had an issue with out heater. We'll be calling them anytime we have heating/cooling issues and would highly recommend them!

We had MC Heating replace a 49 year old furnace and also install a Bryant AC unit last June. The experience was 5 star from setting up the estimate thru the installation.
Maria in the office was very friendly and efficient. Miguel came to give us an estimate and we felt he listened and did not try to "upsell" us. He told us what was appropriate for our size house. His bid was very fair and included EVERYTHING. Another company whose bid was higher did not include any electrical work.
The installation crew was very professional and efficient. The workmanship exceeded our expectations. My husband was concerned about how loud the new heat/AC unit would be...it is whisper quiet, we are very happy!!

My heater had a funky smell and was turning on and off. Carlos at MC hearing come within a day and quickly diagnosed the issue - broken fan. He had the part in his car and was able to quickly make the needed repair! And now I'm back to be warm and cozy in my home. Thanks!
