Shaun is awesome! He came to our house to fix our e450 bus that wouldn't start at 7pm on a Saturday. We were thrilled because we needed it fixed ASAP. He diagnosed the problem, discussed options for parts with us, went to get the part, came back, replaced starter and was done in no time. I couldn't believe the great service! Said he could fix any problem right in our driveway, at work or wherever we broke down. I'd never heard of auto service like that! He was very professional and easy to work with too. No-brainer. Shaun was very responsive, I sent out my request to 5 different places and he was the only one who responded within minutes.

He is a mobile service which makes buying a car a much more convenient process! He is thorough in his work and informed me of what needed work and things to consider. He knows his stuff!

I called Shaun about getting a broken valve cover bolt out. He said he could do it, and we booked an appointment. He quoted $250, which I agreed to.
He came on a Wednesday, I believe...and worked for about 1-1/2 hrs. He called me and said he was unsuccessful in getting the bolt out. He also said
he could drill it out and put in new threads to screw a new bolt into. He stated he was busy, and couldnt get back till that Saturday. I never heard from him again. These pictures reveal why. He broke the area where the bolt was. The repair would be more difficult now, so he just bailed on me. Thanks Shaun, I took care of your screw up.

Weren't able to accommodate a filter change, not a difficult job. Most other businesses were able to at least give a quote

Shaun came to my house in Pleasant Hill and did a suspension repair on my car. He was on time/early. He wrapped up the repair fast. I will be hiring him again for future projects with my other cars.

Giving Mechanics Pros a 3-star rating due to unexpected turmoil resulting from brake inspection.

To make a long story short, I had called Shaun for 3 things, most importantly and on top of my priority list; a long going issue regarding my brakes- terrible stuttering/dragging noise when pressing on my brake pedal after driving for a period of time (rear & front brake pads are good + had new rotors recently installed). Other 2 inquiries was to change my spark plugs and replace my coolant. He did a great job at this and even went beyond as to educating me on what a "tune up" actually is, and the steps it took.

(Free service) My issue came after when Shaun inspected my brakes, took em apart, and lubricated both pads. The worst screeching sound came the next day when I drove my vehicle. I did not even have to press on my brake pedal to hear this noise. Thereafter I decided to take my vehicle elsewhere but I did not give Shaun a fair chance to re-inspect my brakes (Shaun did offer this and was very much available/did not have to wait long).

This caused me a huge inconvenience as Shaun was the first person I hit up in the North Bay which nearly resulted in more harm than good (I confirmed with the alternate shop that what Shaun did was a direct result in nearly causing serious damage to my car). In spite of this, I would still like to highlight Shaun's upstanding diligence & professionalism in offering to come back around and offer to fix my issue. (Free or charge) Good caring person, and wish our exchange ended in good spirit.

But at this point, I did not hold complete faith in Shaun to fix this but would not question his integrity or work ethic.

I work in Walnut Creek area and found myself with car trouble while trying to leave my parking garage to do some errands during my lunch period. Car wouldn't start, it looked like the battery was fine but didn't want to mess with it. Found Shaun on Yelp and messaged him for his availability to come out and do diagnostics. Very responsive. He said he would be there between 6-7 pm. He came right at 6. Did some tests and found out that I have a bad battery, he went out to grab one, came back and I was out of there before 7 pm. Venmo the payment, easy peasy! You may find that he is slightly more expensive than your usual mechanic but the value, the convenience and professionalism he brings is worth it.

I've been looking for a good mechanic and I found a GREAT ONE! I was having issues with my car and its funny sounds. Shaun was great, the service made it convenient, and I'd recommend him and I'll use his business over and over again.

Very knowledgeable and experienced. They helped me out with an issue regarding a CV joint and got me in the right direction. Trustworthy, reliable and real. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Absolutely recommend Sean! He is always quick to respond, quick to schedule, on time, professional, and all around nice person. I've called him to do several different repairs on my car and each time I've been very satisfied. (Brakes, starter, serpentine belt). He even came out last minute on a Saturday when I heard a weird sound coming from my tire area and he was able to check it all out and make sure we were good.
