Of course, during one of the coldest weeks we had here recently, my 30 year aged Heating system decided to stop working. I did some testing and believed I knew what the issues was so I started calling around to see who could assist and help get my wife her heat back.

After speaking with several other companies, I managed to reach Ian at Mercury. What an honor and so refreshing to work with such an honest and professional person who as you speak with him, you can hear and feel his integrity. I explained what I believed to be the issue and what I had done in my troubleshooting get to this determination. He agreed that it sounded like the part I felt was the issue. Unfortunitly I had another company come out during this same period and when I advised them of what I believed to be the issue and how I came to this determination, all they did was a "voltage check " at the door and wanted to charge me $199 and then they would see if they could get the part and more important, upsell me into a new system.

I regret that I did end up purchasing a new HVAC system from another company. I am not regreting the particular system I purchased BUT rather that I did not give Ian/Mercury the business. If I ever have another need for ANY HVAC related matters, Ian WILL be my go to service provider. Look no furture, you can not go wrong with Ian and Mercury.

Amazing company! Our A/C stopped working right in the middle of a heat wave. We contacted Mercury and they were able to come out the next day. Ian is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to explain the issue to me. He fixed it on the spot and continued to answer questions I had about improving our HVAC system. He will not try and sell you something you don't need. Fair prices and great customer service. Highly recommend them!

During the week of record heat in July 2024, our house AC stopped working early Sunday evening. I contacted Ian because of his excellent service last time and he quickly got back and informed me that his schedule is fully booked a week out.

Ian could easily stop there. Instead, he took care of me with such genuine customer service and care.

I was so grateful that Ian went above and beyond and guided me via text messages right away on how to do some basic diagnostics without asking for any fee. He took time to send me pictures on how to locate and check the fuse. Sure enough, with his extensive experiences, he nailed it on the first try - the 15 amp fuse was blown. The system was back on after replacing the fuse. It was such a relief knowing my family would have AC back on during the ongoing heat wave.

Ian followed up the next day to confirm the problem is fixed. This is such a great experience based on the superb services provided by Ian and Mercury Heating and Air. I want to share and recommend them with anyone who is looking for heating and AC services.

I purchased a new HVAC system from Mercury in 2020. I have been very happy with its performance and highly recommend this company because they care about their business and their customers.
yesterday I got locked out of my AC thermostat. I could not turn it off and it ran for 24 hours.
One call to mercury and Jason arrived, he unlocked the system he explain to me what happened and showed me the solution.

This is my second 5 star review for Mercury Heating and Air. My heater stopped working so I called Mercury Heating and Air as they had installed it in June of 2023. Jason from M H & A came the next day and took great care to find out what was wrong. Jason kept working on the problem until he found the best solution, and he kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. These are great people to work with. Thank you, Jason.

My bro's heater crapped out on him yesterday, yikes! After playing detective for an hour (thanks, DIY skills!), we knew it was time for the pros. Luckily, I remembered Mercury Heating & Air from helping clients as a realtor. Bam! Ian showed up at the door 30 minutes later - turns out he was nearby after finishing a job. Score!

Long story short, our 20+ year old heating and 30+ year old cooling system were toast. Ian and Jason (huge 49er fans, bonus points!) showed up the next day, swapped out the oldies for new goodies, and had everything humming by nightfall. Seriously, I'm a bit of a neat freak, and these guys left the place spotless - talk about efficient! Even with some unexpected bumps in the road, they never pushed extra costs or add-ons. Just solid work from awesome people.

These guys totally rock! Friendly, professional, and clearly experts in their field. What more could you ask for? Needless to say, they're going on my "awesome people to know" list.

Smart. Helpful. Not going to sell you junk you don't need. Came to my house same day and resolved the issue.

Mercury Heating and Air did an excellent job reviewing our existing furnace and AC system which had broken down, and then replacing it with a heat pump. They recommended adding an additional return duct which is required for the new system. None of the other companies we received estimates from mentioned this requirement. They did a great job, were very polite, and did not charge us for additional required work not specified in the contract while installing the new system. They were hard working and kept us abreast of progress. They also did a great job of cleaning up each day when they were done.

The owner (Ian) was very knowledgeable and explained everything so that I could understand what was going on. They mentioned that many other companies perform the installation but don't consider the system maintenance and repair during the installation. As a result, according to Ian, many times the installers have piping and other items blocking the furnace access door which doesn't allow the door to be removed causing a simple maintenance problem to skyrocket into a major problem because these blockages have to be removed and re-installed after the maintenance or repair is completed at a much higher cost. The other technicians - Jessie and Jacob were also very polite and helpful.

Four days ago I awoke to a cold wintery morning, and turned on my 25-year old furnace. I was surprised to find that after an hour, the temperature in my home had not risen. I checked the furnace in the garage and found that while the fan was running, the furnace burners had not turned on. I immediately looked for an HVAC repair company on Yelp to find one to call. I found that Mercury Heating and Air had a nearly perfect 5-star rating over more than 150 satisfied clients. After carefully reading dozens of the most recent reviews to ascertain that these were genuine, I called and left a message for them to come to my home to diagnose the problem and propose a solution.

Within 20 minutes, Ian returned my call and set up an appointment for a home visit an hour later. He arrived in less time than that, opened the front of the furnace, tested the electrical control unit, and determined that a replacement of that unit would be necessary. We discussed the cost, and the financial pros and cons of replacing the old furnace and air-conditioner with new Goodman models that would be more efficient, and last the rest of our lifetime. Ian was very thorough and methodical in explaining how current technology was superior to that in my quarter-century old equipment, and answered all of my technical questions easily and even surfaced points which I had not considered. At no time did I ever feel he was trying to upsell me. He simply provided reasonable and logical information that allowed me to make an informed buying decision. Even though I had initial thoughts of buying bigger more expensive equipment, Ian convinced me that was overkill for the size of my home, and that I would save money on my monthly utility bills if I went with his recommendation for an appropriately-sized furnace and air conditioner.

My wife and I decided to go with his proposal for new equipment. Yesterday he arrived with his partner, Jason, and installed and tested the new furnace so that we had reliable heat in our home the same night. This morning Ian and Jason arrived to complete installation and testing of the new air conditioner. Ian also opened and sealed heating/air conditioning registers in each room of our house so that we would be more likely to pass the mandatory duct-testing and city building inspection following the completion of the furnace and air conditioner installation. Once they completed their work, they hauled out all of the old equipment, cleaned up their work areas, and vacuumed the rooms of the house where they had tested the registers, and left our home and side yard (where the air conditioner is) looking as if no one had been there.

The new Goodman furnace and air conditioner looks great, runs quietly, and heats our home nicely. We'll see how the air conditioner does when the summer weather arrives. Ian and Jason stand by their work and their written warranty assures me that I can always give them a call if any problems arise with either the equipment or installation within the generous warranty period. Overall, my wife and I are very satisfied with the advice, service, timeliness, and equipment we received and purchased from Mercury Heating and Air. We recommend them without reservation should you be in need of their expert services.

I had an outstanding experience with Mercury heating and air when they replaced my dual capacitor. Their technician Jason arrived early and was very friendly and professional throughout the entire process. He quickly diagnose the problem and had the necessary placement part on hand, which he installed efficiently effectively. He also provided me some helpful tips on how to maintain my HVAC system and keep it running smoothly. Overall I was very extremely impressed with his expertise and service and I highly recommend mercury heating and air for any air conditioning needs.
