I purchased the UnderCloak Integrated Armor System, or belly pan system for a JLU Rubicon. I was shocked to discover there were no instructions for this system. The support people referred me to another set of instructions that they said was close, it was not. Further, their instructions (non provided with the delivery) are provided to download via a web forum but they shut down ability for users, 2 years ago, to comment on the instructions and provide tips for other users. That would have been a big help if they left it active. The instructions they did provide for another model JL were poor to begin with and incomplete. It turned into a puzzle that took much longer than needed with they had provided instructions. The system itself looks sturdy and strong enough to due the job. The gas tank is doubly armored at their system put armore on top of the existing stock armor on the gas tank.

I would like the thank your whole team on doing an excellent job on my Hemi conversion on my 2016 Jeep Rubicon. The Hemi with a 8 speed makes it a whole new vehicle. It all started a few years ago when I wanted a new lift kit installed, I went with their 5.5 Lock-N- Loaded long arm an skid plates a perfect match for the trails I was doing at the times. It worked so well I started doing harder trails and harder lines with ease. After that year I wanted a to go bigger after seeing a lot of people breaking axles on trails. So I called Cloakworks to get pricing on new ultimate Dana 60s axles. We made the deal and again very happy with the recommendation I received from Scott. The Jeep rolled out of there shop on new Raceline bead locks, 40s for tires and PSC steering. After a year of hard wheeling a few loose bolts but very happy. So with all this work done at Cloakworks the choice was very easy for me knowing they were the right shop for the new 6.4L Hemi, 8 speed transmission backing up with a 4.3.1 Atlas transfer case. I just want to say thank you to the whole team at Cloakworks and MetalClock for the transformation to my Jeep.

I really couldn't be happier how my jeep is coming out with my new 3.5 lift. I waited for a year after I purchase my jeep and I'm so glad I did after talking to many friends and friends of friends I decided to pull the trigger. Its great MetalCloak products are made here USA and the quality of the lift is bad As#! I also purchase the Armor and wow what can I say what a beauty. If you need help or just don't have the time to work on it, right next door is Cloakworks 4x4 and there service is awesome.

I had to write a review about MetalCloak Customer Service because of what I experienced today Nov 15th 2021. I ordered my Lift and skid plates from them and received them in only a few days, which was amazing with today's supply chain issues. My Jeep is in the shop getting the lift installed when they find out that I was sent the wrong size springs. I contacted them by email due to it being the weekend and before I could even wake up on Monday I had an email with a fed ex tracking # with my new parts being sent to me OVERNIGHT which had to be expensive. Shortly after that I received an email from Bobby appoligizing and doing whatever he could to make things right.
See this is what Customer Service and Made in America is all about!! You make a mistake, you own it, you fix it and do what you can to make it right no questions asked. This is my 2nd MetalCloak lift because there products are awesome, but now I'm a customer for life, and will do all that I can to spread the word because of Bobby and the Staff at Metalcloaks commitment to their customers. Thank you guys. Bryan

Purchased a set of 3.5" springs for my Jeep tj. At the time of installation, my Jeep had no fenders, no spare tire, and no doors. After measuring spring length, my Jeep was sagging to 2.5" in the rear and just about at 3.5" front, even though these guys warned me they would sit taller than 3.5". After emailing back and forth, they offered 30% off a new set, which I declined.

Eventually I got them to send me some 4.5" springs, assuming I'd end up where I wanted to be in the first place. Not only did my jeep get 5" of lift, but one of the springs also gave me 7" of lift. Apparently they don't offer anything that'll actually get that 3.5" of lift. Sending everything back and going with someone else.

Awesome off-roading parts & aesthetics - be aware nothing really fits perfect you have to be prepared to modify customize and adjust then be prepared for something to not line up. Referencing nearly all of my upgrades from them. Professional installation highly encouraged.

Fabulous products and amazing service, very pleased! I've had many different lifts over the years and 3 different brand lifts in Jeeps prior to purchasing MetalCloak 3.5". There's simply no comparison, MetalCloak rides so well and the build quality is exceptional! I'm so impressed and don't know why I waited so long to go with the best! Don't waste time with other products for your Jeep, do it right the first time, GO MetalCloak and you'll be so happy you did!

2017 Jeep Wrangler unlimited sport s

I'm new to the Jeep world with 2 years under my belt. I am not new to off-roading though.
After months of research and many different options out there, I went with metalcloak. The quality of product, the warranty and customer service is outstanding. I purchased the sport tire carrier and am impressed how strong the new setup is. I then purchased their 3.5" game changer rocksport edition. My buddy and I did the install over the weekend. The instructions where great, the packaging was great. I am happy with my purchases. I've had the carrier on for over a year and a half and the lift for 1 year with 15k miles on it. Outside of he rockrash, the Jeep looks amazing and handles well on trails. The dual rate springs are awesome because I can load the Jeep for road trips and camping and it doesn't sag. My next step is to buy the tie rod drag link setup and then move on to some under armor.
I just wish they would add some metalcloak swag for purchases over a certain price. Kinda like a loyal customer appreciation. I know it's small but I say if you want quality and service pick metalcloak.

This will be a %100 honest review including all the good and bad. Im a fully ceritfied ASE mechanic for the past 7 years running my own mechanic business and running a shop full time up until about 2yrs ago. I have been wheeling my whole life and always built my own rigs for the Rubicon. I'm going to start with the good. I bought a brand new JK rubicon few months back with the intention to buy a 4inch long to install myself and modify the jeep for the Rubicon myself and so my wife can have a safer car in the snow then a small acura. Being that it's Bran new I'm not planning on wheeling it as hard as my TJ.

The dealer I bought the jeep from already had contracted this JK with Metal Cloak for a lift. The jeep already has a lift with 35's so I'm already a step ahead of where I wanted to be. All of the components of the lift are very high quality and look good. The jeep drives great with the lift and I have been impressed with the quality of their parts so far.

THE BAD: during the purchase I asked the dealer what's included with this lift I'm laying an extra 5k for and it was basic lift components including longer metal brake lines. On my way home the night I bought it (only 200 miles on jeep) I heard a horrible metal to metal rubbing sounds in the back. I crawled under it on the side of the road and noticed the rear trac bar was rubbing on the right rear coil spring. Once at home o noticed that the rear trac bar didn't even have the riser bracket to lift it into it's proper position. Metal Cloak just didn't finish the lift all together. None of my the metal brake lines were installed either but they were still stock. The dealer was closed at this point so I drove it home. I didn't buy a bran new jeep to have to work on it right away so I called the dealer and they immediately offered to bring it back to metal cloak to fix the issue and finish the lift. I brought the jeep to dealer and they delivered it to metal cloak. I paid an extra 5k for a half installed lift. The parts that weren't installed caused my coil springs to rub on the track bar which was wearing a nice hole in it (and it sounded horrible).

After a few days I got the jeep back with all the proper brake lines installed and they fixed the track bar issue. I specifically asked them to replace the coil spring and track bar since it's a bran new jeep that now had the spring and track bar with big grooves in them from rubbing on each other. However when I got the jeep back they spray painted over the track bar and coil spring to simply cover up their screw up rather then eating a little money to make a happy customer and do it right. As I'm driving the jeep home after pickup I noticed a new terrible noise Everytime I hit a bump. Again I crawled under it and noticed their long rear brake lines they wrapped the excess line around my rear sway bar and around the shock. Everytime I hit a bump the rear metal brake line smack against the rear shock causing the horrible noise. At this time I fixed it myself and properly secured the lines. Also the rear track bar was rattling pretty bad so I went to tighten it and noticed the Allen headed bolt was totally stripped out that they installed.

In conclusion I understand everyone makes mistakes, Shoot I make mistakes working on cars all the time however I make it right. I was and pleased with their products so far however I would NEVER advise anyone to take ANYTHING to them for an install. This bran new jeep that my wife is mostly driving sat in the garage for a time while I fixed metal cloaks simple mistakes. I was extremely dissatisfied that metal cloak spray painted over worn parts rather then making it right. Overall you would be money ahead and much safer going down the road or wheelin if you installed their products yourself or paid a shop to install that knows what their doing. I sure hope metal cloak reads this review and makes some changes including making this experience right with the customer. Especially because I like their products and still need to buy lots of accessories for my new JK.

On a side note I went in to them and bought bumpers. The gentleman that helped me was over the top helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with buying the bumpers. I don't recall what his name was but I was Impressed with his attitude and humility.

If they had a better and more honest install I would probably give them a 5 however so far I can't trust their install or that they wouldn't do something shady behind the customers back like neglecting to replace worn parts and rather painting over them. I still plan on getting a long arm lift however I will take my business elsewhere until they make it this right.
