Michael Taymor, MD

Dr. Taymor is a fantastic doctor. He is attentive, knowledgeable, calm, and available even outside of his usual work hours. He stays on top of the latest research and takes on a measured approach that doesn't overmedicate but takes things seriously as they should be. He understands what it's like to be a parent, and is very patient with us as first time parents. I've called and texted countless times with questions and he's always responded even on Christmas Day when my child was sick.
His front desk is friendly and on top of everything. We've even seen Dr. Ramawi a couple of times and she was great as well.
I completely trust Dr. Taymor and I'm very thankful that he's my child's pediatrician. Great doctors who are available and also kind can be hard to come by and dr. Taymor is certainly one.

he's a very knowledgeable pediatrician. We can tell he has a ton of experience. We trust his advice. Office is a bit small and cramped but whatever it's the quality of care that matters. The office receptionist is pretty good too.

Dr. Taymor is by far the best doctor my family has every had. He truly cares about the health conditions of our baby girl. As first-time parents, we are constantly bothered by the various symptoms of our daughter. We couldn't count how many times we text or call Dr. Taymor during the time when he is off from work, sometimes late in the evening, in the weekend, or even in the Christmas break. Dr. Taymor is always patient and willing to make himself available. Once he even came to the office and treat our daughter on the day before Christmas eve, when the office is officially closed. He is empathetic with new parents, and can always soothe out the anxiety. Dr. Taymor also has a spectacular sense of clever humor. I enjoy every visit and conversation with the doctor and I strongly recommend him to every family who is looking for a new pediatrician for their beloved little ones.

Dr. Taymor is everything a doctor needs to be. He cares immensely about his patients, but is still straight forward and honest, not sugar coating things. When I first saw him, this intimidated me, but I came to realize that honesty is the best policy.

Even when I was 10 or 11, Dr. Taymor would explain everything to me as if I was an adult, which helped me understand that my health is in my own hands. With his help, I lost weight and stopped being obese. No previous doctor helped me, because they would never really "give it to me straight". Dr. Taymor is largely to thank for the interest I take in my health

He is also incredibly knowledgeable in most issues he comes across, which enables him to provide the best care possible. I truly wouldn't change a thing about his style or the care gave me.

This is the last year I will be able to see Dr. Taymor, as I'm turning 21, and it breaks my heart. Perhaps the great downside of being Dr. Taymor's patient is that he sets the bar too high for most other doctors to be able to reach.

Dr. Taymor is the best thing that happened to us since our daughter was born in terms of medical care! He even managed to make her NOT BE AFRAID OF IMMUNIZATION SHOTS!
Knowledgeable, intelligent and sharp, someone who listens and THINKS - a rare quality these days.. He was always available for an advise on the phone to "put out panic attack" when my daughter was little - and still available to meet scheduling challenges when she is older.
His assistant is very nice and easy to work with - try to make a quick appointment at PAMF on a short notice when the child has really bad cough! you will end up in an urgent care... Dr. Taymor would make a trip back to his office during lunch on his hospital day for just one child, if he finds it's necessary.
My daughter is totally in love with him, because she can see a real smart person behind his a bit "distant" demeanor.

I was referred to Dr. Taymor by my trusted OB while pregnant with my first born in 2016. Needless to say, I knew where to go with my 2nd born a couple of years later. He is quite knowledgeable and experienced, and I truly trust his opinion in my children's healthcare. I like his direct and honest approach, and have no desire to be handheld by my children's physician. Dr. Taymor has also been easily accessible (even on cell!), which has saved me many urgent care/ ER visits. His referrals have also been until necessary, and on point. If you need a physician who balances his medicine practice with your needs as a parent and children's needs, while being very honest and to the point, he is your go to guy. Thanks Dr. Taymor!

We have been seeing Dr. Taymor for five years. I think he is a very excellent doctor because he is very thorough in his examinations, focused on evidence, he asks perceptive questions and gives very good advice.

Dr. Taymor listens to parents, is open to alternative treatments, and doesn't over-medicate.

He sticks to the facts and gets right to the heart of the matter. He gives clear explanations for his opinions.

We have been very satisfied with his services and would recommend this office to others.

In summary, Dr. Taymor is a professional. He is not the friendliest person, but he is excellent at his work. I don't necessarily need my pedetrician to be my baby's friend. What matters to me is that I have someone I can trust and rely on as a professional. When Dr. Taymor raised the concern that my baby may have problems with growth hormones, we took his advice and ran a blood test on her. The endocrinologist we consulted with the result praised Taymor highly for arranging the perfect test. Because dr. Taymor ordered all the tests that were necessary, we did not have to go through multiple blood tests to see if my baby was ok. Also, you can always reach out to him on his cellphone if you have a concern.
I highly recommend him.

Dr. Taymor is a fine doctor but his front office person is HORRIBLE!!!!!! If you go to his office make sure you get his cell phone number because the front office SUCKS!!! I could say more but ill stop
