Michael Wong Driving Instructor School

Michael has been a great instructor for my son and we will be using him to teach our other kids as well. Not only is he a great calm excellent instructor that my son really felt comfortable with and learned alot from - we have not met anyone with such integrity in years! My son did pass the driver's test and is thrilled. Yay! Highly highly recommend this rare! kind! excellent driving instructor!!!

I am so fortunate to be taught by Michael! I was dreading learning how to drive and was considering it more as an item to check off my list/chore but being Michael's student really changed my perspective. Not only do I feel confident about driving, but I also find it enjoyable! This would not have been possible if it wasn't for Michael. Don't think twice! I totally recommend Michael's driving classes as it's taken me from a total beginner to a confident driver in just a few classes. He's the BEST!!!

I passed my behind the wheel in the very first attempt!!

I recently moved from Canada and wanted to get a California driver's license. I was tempted to take the test without any preparation, thinking I had decades of driving experience under my belt that would allow me to pass. I decided instead to contact Michael for a refresher before the test, and I am so glad I did!

Michael is an incredibly patient and knowledgable driving instructor. Driving in San Francisco can be tough unless you know all of the nuances of the roads here. Michael provided the training necessary to take on my road test with confidence and pass with flying colours!

I don't even know where to start. I've been putting of learning how to drive since I ride motorcycle and never felt the need to want to learn how to drive until my family started pushing me to learn to drive after I got into two different motorcycle accidents. I had the worst anxiety and I am most likely the least patient person to deal with. I've tried another driving instructor about 8-9 years ago and the driving kept yelling at me. That was also one of the reason why I didn't want to and most recently I said let's try this again and that's when i started looking for the instructors and I bumped into many different people but Michael was the one of instructors who responded me so quick and like I mentioned, I dont have patience so I said I'd try Michael and see if it's alright although I had other options I thought I'd give it a try Although there was no review. I was skeptical for sure at first when I met him, but man I tell you! He's nothing like I've imagined. He's very thorough, patience and he knows how to make sure you're comfortable yet conscious and cautious about everything. He's very detailed and he made sure I was relaxed and not nervous the entire time. I used to drive here and there of my friends or partner and I always felt like I was carrying the car on the shoulder but I have not once felt like that when I was driving with Michael. He made sure I was okay, he'd calm me down and we even practiced the day of my driving test and went through all over the instructions. He made me feel relaxed and comfortable and guess what? 4 2hrs driving sessions and I passed. I have been smiling all day. I am so happy. Thank you so much Michael. Keep up the good work. You're the best driving instructor.

Way beyond expectations! Excellent communication and a real willingness to cover what I asked of him for my teen son. He was on time for every lesson, was thorough, and not focused on the clock where he was to the minute. He went over for two of the three lessons and didn't charge for it. Mellow and made my son feel very comfortable. Gave detailed progress reports. He is very fair. Will use him again to complete the driving test portion!

I totally recommend Michael Wong as a driver instructor because he is very positive and patient! Regardless if you have a bit of experience or none he helps you learn how to drive efficiently without being judgmental. Thank you again Michael for the lessons, you are an excellent teacher!!
