I went to Midas on Government because I have been to the one in Colwood before and knew the level of service there. I was expecting good and I got sensational! All of the employees there are friendly and knowledgable. My truck was done on time and under budget! I appreciated the little extra services they performed and was impressed that a $39.95 oil change is really $39.95! The tires I chose weren't the cheapest ones but I was confident, with the information that I was given, that they were the best choice. The other work being done was necessary but I wasn't pressured. I felt like they were giving me service, not the runaround. As a girl dealing with a "guy" thing, this is very important! Go there!

Went in for an oil change and in addition they said they would grease the driveshaft and rotate the tires. They did change the oil, however, they did not grease the driveshaft (fittings were dry). They did rotate the tires but torqued down the lug nuts 50% over the rated ft/lbs. Total incompetence and scam. I will never return again.

I was very pleased with the service I received at Midas in Victoria. I requested a brake fluid flush, which they were able to do for my Honda. Service was fast, polite and competent. Will use them again.

I got a quote from BCAA for a brake job to the tune of $1000. A friend told me calipers rarely wear out and was surprised that was what they were calling for on a vehicle with 100Kkms. Midas didn't try and pull that one on me and came in at $595. They also got me in and out of there in an afternoon, the day after I called vs BCAA being booked out 2 wks in advance.

I had a wonderful experience at Midas today. I had never been here before and needed someone to quickly diagnose my car's issue. They quickly hopped in for a test drive. Of course, the problem immediately went silent and the car drove perfectly. On the fourth lap of the block, the elusive problem finally reared it's head.

The fine people at Midas had it diagnosed, fixed and back on the road within 10 minutes. There was a pebble caught somewhere in the braking system.

The people are kind, skilled, accurate, quick and certainly worth every cent.

I travel extensively so my vehicle is serviced often. I have been using Midas on Government Street for a couple of years now and I am very impressed. This is a well managed facility. I would not go anywhere else. The crew at this location look after my vehicle and make recommendations when issues arise but I never feel pressured to have things done to it that aren't necessary yet. When I have urgent issues with my car they go out of their way to fit me in. I also get great deals on tires - it is a one stop shop. Their service is friendly and efficient and I get back on the road quickly and with peace of mind. Very happy customer!
