My sister was stalled in the west 50's. We called Midtown. These professionals are the best!!
She had leaked antifreeze, and they came and towed her within 10 minutes on a flatbed.
At the shop, Mike and Ronnie were super! They diagnosed the issue, made sure the car was road ready.
They were not only car professionals, but genuine people. She said they were a pleasure to deal with and talk to.
And all this on a Friday afternoon in NYC!! Gentleman, thank you so much for offering a wonderful service.

This place charges 50-200 dollars more per part than other mechanics in midtown. Their main intentions aren't to help you fix your car and ensure you can get home safely, but instead to rip you off as much as possible for relying on them. We all understand the importance to make some profit for one's hard work and effort, but to double or triple the amount of profit other mechanics charge demonstrates just how much of a shark this place is. I'd recommend staying clear of this place unless you have too much money you simply don't care when people rip you off.

P.S. I'd go down the block to S. N. R. Auto repair who will charge you more reasonable prices. Still expensive for midtown, but if you're in an emergency, they are a better and safer bet. Simply call and compare the prices and I'm sure you'll see what I mean!

First, this place moved and never updated any of the maps applications. They are in Long Island City now, and seem to go under several names, including Sufi Auto Repair.

I went for a routine inspection. Essa works there and was a straight-up guy who helped me. The only problem was, they had no inspection stickers once the inspection was done. Essa tried to get them brought over, but I went back twice and no luck either time, costing me tolls and time. Essa offered a third time to come back and get inspected for free, but when I called to check, he wasn't working that day and the guy said I would need to get inspected again and would not honor Essa's free offer. I'm done with these guys permanently and do not recommend them at all.

Can in the last minute for an inspection on a Sat afternoon. In and out in 15 minutes and no hassles. Probably helps that my car is fairly new and has low mileage but this was a quick and easy experience. See you guys next year!

Horrible service... Rude and makes unnecessary comments. I asked to know if a car diagnostics service was free of charge, he mentioned " Over the past 35 years ... nothing has been free" and started saying other rude comments. I did not take my car there and hung up on the call with him. I shouldve of gotten his name too.

The car had a problem with the tire and we agreed they will fix it. The electrical system in the car worked properly before the car was dropped for fix the tire. Next day they called that we put diesel instead of gas and the totally repair cost with tire would be $2.200,00.
Not sure about the diesel but I agreed to pay because we need the car. When we got the car we immediately informed them that the blinkers, windows and door don't work. We can't close the window.They said no problem leave the car and tomorrow morning shift will check. We tried to talk with them and they never fixed the electrical problem that they damage.
We tried again to resolve the problem.
They just left the car outside of the shop and no even called us even they know we can get tickets or the car can be towed.

I really like this place open 24 hours 7 days a week for us with little time to waste this place is a life saver. their hourly rate is a little high but, in my book, you get what you pay for. if you want to drive in without calling and have them, take care of the problem there and then this is the place. I deal with mike nice guy tells the truth and does not hesitate to point out a future problem without the pressure for you to fix it there and then. i have been here many times and have had the following done.

front tires replaced.
rear ac blower fixed.
multiple inspections
spark plugs and ignition wire replaced.
bumper repaired and painted.
fender repaired and painted.
tune up.
brakes pads and rotors replaced.

if you become a regular customer, they won't hesitate to give you a deal when you come in for service at least that has been my experience over the last few years.

The owner is racist once he gets your money he talks you the same way he talk to the African immigrants he has working in his shop. I paid him almost $5000 to repair my Porsche truck. They would call saying anything and everything to get extra money out of me from oh we didn't notice before but this other part needs to be changed and the job can't be completed till I buy another part they said different stuff every time. I paid almost $5000 to midtown center auto repair and every thing they fix is given problems my truck is still leaking oil and my check ignition light came back on weeks later I went back the owner was so rude and disrespectful he refused to refix my truck or even look at. He called my Porsche old and and said it's trash but he didn't say any of this before he got money. As a black woman the way I was dealt with after they got my money and my car was still given problems he was really discussing and disrespectful and the way the owner yell and curse at his shop workers is inhumane. I wouldn't recommend any one especially women to get your vehicle repaired at this shop because you will see exactly what I'm talking about on God if you go back cause they didn't fix your vehicle correctly after you already paid and you will see for your self.

I had my car broken into and one of the windows was shattered. I called both the Mercedes salon and this car repair salon to ask about the new window, not only was the midtown center auto repair 3 days faster, it was also much cheaper!

Guys fixed my window THE VERY NEXT DAY BY 2PM, I'm so happy, I highly recommend this place!! Quick, efficient and they're not trying to rob you out of your money. Johnny was the most pleasant person to deal with, always immediately responded on my calls and addressed all of my concerns.
