We hired Miguel's team after speaking to several
companies about some water intrusions we were experiencing in our primary bedroom. It was a multi-faceted project that required installation of a vapor barrier in our crawl space, taking up the existing flooring, replacing some damaged flooring, floor joists and subfloor as well as reinstalling the existing oak flooring afterwards. Not only was his team willing and able to tackle all of these components (unlike others we spoke to), they also identified and fixed a related issue with some of our sheetrock as well and their fees were very reasonable for the quality of work. They were professional, kept us apprised of additional tasks and related fees, fast and kept a very clean job site. We would not hesitate to recommend them or hire them again. Miguel was super friendly and had a very fair quote for a French drain on one side of our house that had water intrusion. His team took 3-4 days to complete a 20ish foot trench with a water basin and sump pump to drain towards the front yard near the street and sidewalk. A retaining wall was also recommended and installed to help prevent more intrusion and erosion. The only thing was a few miscommunications on extra charges, like hauling away the dirt from the trench. Overall, we worked out a satisfactory agreement, and I do recommend Miguel's services, just make sure to over communicate on any extras that may pop up.

Miguel installed a French drain along the front of our foundation and vapor barrier in our crawl space. He has efficient and performed all the work timely and on budget.

Wish I had Miguel to take care my sump pump problem last year when the old one stopped working! Definitely will recommend my friends for his services!
Last year, our old one stopped working, and had our old/good plumbing company (Redwood city who did 2 good plumbing drain pipes repairs in the past) to take care the issues. Communication on scope, & cost was so bad and unclear, even though company has very experienced workers 30+ years), maybe company had management/trust issue with workers in the field. At the end they done partial job by only replaced sump pump with too shallow trench and the pump won't work till someone shake the pump bucket even though we put extra weight rocks on top of the bucket (working for short time). Not to mention of using the Home Depot orange bucket. Worst things is left the job undone and claimed the completed work was temporary fix without communication how/when the work will be done correctly after 2+ months without any follow up. However the company owner/Mgr (family own) did ask me to paid :-(

To fix the issue for good, Miguel's company was recently selected after calling several top-rated Yelp on sump pump and subfloor moisture control management specialists, in additions to many plumbing companies. Miguel's response time was quick, his on-site estimate was clear on his approaches & project scope, and price was reasonable in comparing to my previous exactly same issue. He always have "best quality & service" in mind to take care his customers. Again I'll refer this company to others about his customers oriented and good quality mindset!

We recently acquired Miguel's Home Services to waterproof our home. We noticed a lot of moisture in our crawl space, and collected water around our home that went nowhere. Miguel installed a drainage system, sump pump and encapsulated our crawl space for a very fair and reasonable price. Miguel and his crew were very knowledgeable, hardworking and professional. Miguel did drain work for my house, including digging / creating french drain and installing a sump pump. He and his team are wonderful. He took care of everything, explained it all to me multiple times, worked with my preferences, cleaned up great, and ran the team without me needing to do anything. Now that it has rained I can say, the work has held up and my basement is dry. 100% recommend Miguel and his team for any work he says he can do, but especially for drain work. So glad I connected with him.

I have not yet used Miguel's services but wanted to leave a review because he was so responsive when I messaged him on yelp. We have a broken sump pump and are looking into fixing it. When I messaged him, he took less than 10 minutes to respond to schedule an appointment for the very next day! It turns out I jumped the gun and my partner would first like to try fixing it but rest assured we will be calling Miguel if he doesn't manage it. Excellent communication.

Miguel was amazing! He was recommended to me by a good friend who is a contractor. He helped me complete a French Drain project for my home at 1/3 of the price a professional company (that he used to work for) quoted me at.

He was on time. Professional. English could be better. But everything was done perfectly.

He also does attic and crawlspace cleaning, so i might call him back for more help in the future.
