I am a return customer and after reading reviews, I had to post to say Mike and Daniel are the only ones I will trust my Lance travel trailer with. Have always done right by me. Have never been treated rudely... not by anyone there. They're always willing to take the time to explain the repairs. And, Christine has always been courteous to us. These are good people running a good business.

Really appreciate when a company goes the extra mile to address an issue. Took my trailer in as my front electric jack stopped working. I have good sam extended warranty and mike immediately ordered the part made sure they scheduled me in before my next trip. They then took the steps required to process the claim and I only needed to pay my 100 deductible. In addition worked with domedic to get the parts required in order to address a recall and be paid for their labor.

Provided all service requested and stayed close to the initial estimate. Finished job on time and had it ready when I needed it. Despite what you may read in other reviews these guys were all polite, helpful and personable. Took time to explain things and make suggestions for camper issues. Understood concerns of a senior woman and safety. The only thing that could improve is that they seem to not have heard about a pandemic, not a mask in sight.

These guys are the best! They know RV's inside and out. They are professional and most importantly, they understand RV owners. Their work is great, they are on schedule and budget.
Do not hesitate to have Mike & his team get you going again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Royce W.Santa Rosa, CA17299Jul 10, 2020
Got the job done, but Oh So Rude!
First off, this business IS NOT COMPLYING WITH COVID-19 GUIDELINES. Mike met me at my rv, and while outside, he approached to well within my 6ft comfort zone, and he was not wearing a mask. His wife Christine, in a tiny 10-15 ft office with no ventilation, was not wearing a mask while interacting with customers. Their cc machine requires finger touch for signature. Not a single employee was seen wearing a mask, and twice while I was in this tiny office a man entered from the back, making 3 humans in a tiny unventilated space, and he was not wearing a mask either.
Non Covid review: rooftop a/c failed, needed a rush job, Mike replied to a late afternoon email saying bring it in at 7am. I did, he didn't have the part (I had given him the wrong model of my unit) but he had a new Dometic a/c unit. I asked after cost, knowing about what these run... my question was "how much will this cost me, about a grand?" His reply was "Oh, less than that" ... Great! do it! This conversation was at about 7:15am. At 8:45am, I received a call from his wife Christine saying my trailer was done and ready. Awesome service! quick job! First shocker was the $1183.80 bill. NOT AN UNREASONABLE AMOUNT! But.. WAY higher than what I was told. As I was handing my card to Christine for payment, she mentioned that part of the reason was the two hours of labor. I apparently had the audacity to question this, as they actually only had my trailer for about 90 minutes... once I did ask, nicely and casually about this discrepancy, she immediately left the room. Came back in with Mike, who explained that the price of the unit was less than a grand, not the installed price... ok, fine, here, take my money. All the while, Christine is standing behind him throwing snide comments about how busy they are, how they didn't have to accommodate my rush needs, how they don't need my business, how I showed up before their posted opening hours (um, I was told to?). She's continuing on this egregious rant while I'm sputtering about how I'm happy to pay the bill, the rush job is worth a hefty rush fee, here take my money I was just asking for clarification on the things that were very different from what I was told! She was extremely rude, offensive and unprofessional in her dealing with me as a customer.
All in all, I won't put up with being treated like that from ANYONE, let alone someone I'm giving over a thousand dollars to! I will vote with my dollars and find another, any other, rv place for my next repair.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marsha A.Rohnert Park, CA965Jul 30, 2020

Mike and his son have a strong work ethic and capability is their strength. However, I was taken advantage of. I was never given a quote for the job, they said it would take a day, possibly two. Shame on me for not asking for an estimate first, but I was never offered one either. I found out after the fact that Mike charges $165/hour for this type of installation. My brother-in-law is a helicopter mechanic and only charges $80/hour.
I told Christine I was on a tight schedule when I made my appointment. Once we dropped it off at the shop, we never heard from them again unless I left a message asking for an update. Mike's RV is a challenge to communicate with. I called several times each day asking for an update, leaving multiple messages. Not knowing if and when we could pick it up, caused us unnecessary stress as we were embarking on our first RV journey.
I was shocked when the invoice came. At the end of the THIRD day, I was presented with an invoice for almost $3000 for an installation of a Victron 3000 charge converter, all wiring and necessary hardware to connect to my solar and lithium batteries. This included $85 just for swapping out a tire- not fixing it, but a 30 minute swap.
So if you don't mind paying through the nose then I guess Mikes RV is worth it.
Mike took the time to explain how everything worked and what he did for this installation ( I'm assuming this was to justify the outrageous bill). They are hard-working capable people who charge waaayyy too much.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Yvonne C.Middletown, CA24Jun 24, 2021
I wish that the review would be good but this family business lacks business since. They had my equipment for over 27 days and gave a lot of excuses as to why it was not done. First they did not have the parts needed for the job, ok they ordered them. But that had taken over a week to get the part. Once they got the part they had broken one of them while installing. I get a call that they want me to pay for another part. So paying for two parts for one job nice. Also the labor of putting on a part then braking said item, then the labor for the replacement part. We were having a plug put in the bed of the truck. They stated that they could do all of this work in a couple of days. So we proceeded and 27 days later get the truck and camper for $2000. We were told that the job was done BUT, one brake light will not work and by the way you have a nail in your tire. Mind you when I dropped it off tire did not have nail in it. Reading other reviews I have to agree with the COVID-19 guidelines. Only wearing a mask for drop off and the rest of time none. When getting my equipment you had to schedule a time to pick up. Funny considering the fact a couple of days came to almost a month. Don't be fooled by them taking your equipment with the hopes of getting it back in a few days.
I am so sorry that I picked a family owned business to work on my stuff. For what they charged I could of went to camping world.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Alyssa M.Santa Rosa, CA115421Jun 20, 2017First to Review
I was very hopeful that Mike would be able to assist us in our sticky situation as our onsite visit went very well.
We are dealing with a brand new trailer that is under warranty and falling apart. We were up front and honest with him and in return he was very responsive and portrayed to be comfortable in dealing with the manufacturer.
Due to the special nature of our situation we have numerous emails with the manufacturer, dealership and all parties in an attempt to progess froward to answers and approvals. During this time he led us and the manufacturer to believe that he would repair the unit once he recived the green light, however due to the lack of response from the manufacturer I had to get firm in an email and inform the manufacturer that I would take legal actions against them. Due to the mentioning of "legal action" this prompted Mike to dump us.
I understand that he has the right to change his mind and the right to pick who he would like to do service for. With that said, it is very disappointing that he would start the process and then dump us at the moment the other party had approved to proceed with the repairs.
His actions did take the wind out of my sail, however I'm a very understanding person and know you can't make a person do work for you. So I asked for him to at least write a service report that that stated his evaluation of the unit and his recommendations so that I could continue to work with the manufacturer. To date I have not received it.
I would like to point out that all verbal communication has been through his wife, Christine and I could tell she was a middle person trying to please her husband, as well as, the customer. However, it's very difficult as a customer to have questions and have to play operator with his wife. Also, there was a couple occasions that I asked her to speak with Mike which never came to fruition. Furthermore, Christine alluded that Mike didn't read our emails, that it was more of a burden.
Working with this company was a waste of time that has caused further delays, so in the end I don't recommend them.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Michael C.Santa Rosa, CA82Aug 15, 2019
We had a bad water pump leak and were in dire need of a repair as quickly as possible.
I called around town and found that most places were at least two weeks out or not answering their phones and had a voice mail service for returning my call.
Christine at Mike's RV returned my call within an hour and said that they had just hired two good mechanics and were having quick turn around times on repairs.
She said I could bring my RV in at 8:30 the next morning.
They had the repair done by mid-afternoon the same day even though we tacked on some other minor repairs while we had it in the shop.
They charge $165 an hour but have multiple mechanics working together to expedite the repair.
They only billed me for two hrs of shop time.
We thank them for the quick turn around time and the repair is working perfectly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
