Let me begin by saying I brought my Volvo to 2 mechanics who didn't want to touch my car and recommended I take it to the dealership ... Both mechanics said transmission was possibly shot. Attempting to avoid taking my car to the Volvo dealership to avoid an obscene cost to diagnose the problem and repair my car. I decided to do some research and came across Mikes Volvo Clinic. Due to the positive reviews posted I decided to take a chance and have my Volvo towed from Suffolk County Long Island to Jamaica, Queens. Well let me tell you, he quickly identified the problem which was not the transmission, but the TCM computer. He ordered the computer and had it programmed and the car now runs like it's new! In addition,, he repaired my AC/heater blow motor .. Moreover, his pricing is extremely fair!! Mike is truly a professional and a expert mechanic .... Probably why I've noticed so many people pulling up to his shop for there car repair. So glad I found this place! I'll certainly be back for regularly maintenance or repair. Thank you again Mike! They're both fair, honest and hard-working. They know the in's and the outs of Volvo's (as well as other cars) and provide dealership quality work at fair prices.

I recently discovered Mike as I needed someone very familiar with Volvo's but didn't want to go to a dealer. After my car failed inspection, Mike was able to fix a complex problem with the emissions on my 06 XC90 after a national chain and my local mechanic couldn't. I highly recommend him and will be going back in the future.

Did the drive shaft bearing on 1989 at a reasonable price and quickly also favors using genuine Volvo parts.

Where do I begin! First of all, I had my car towed here around 9 o'clock at night and Mike just happened to be at the shop and offered to try to fix my car that same night and called around auto parts stores to see if any were open. All of the auto parts stores were closed but I couldn't believe how nice he was to offer that! After being stranded on the side of the highway for hours when my car broke down (radiator went and i lost all transmission fluid), Mike assured me that everything would be ok and he'd get my car up and running. Two days later my car was finished at a really amazing price and on a Sunday too!! Mike treated me as if I were family and was so nice the entire process. I felt I could trust him and his team. I will definitely be recommending him to everyone I know! Five star service for sure! :) If youre looking for an affordable, honest and quick mechanic look no further!

Mike is probably the best mechanic I have ever worked with. He diagnosed and repaired a difficult problem with my 1987 Volvo 245 that many mechanics in New Mexico, New York, and Los Angeles could not. The work was done so quickly and the price was extremely fair. Mike truly knows his cars, is so gracious, and a gentleman through and through. Thank you, Mike!

I have been going to this shop for twenty years.iam a volvo owner and Mike is one of the best mechanics around, especially for volvos and my other non Volvo vehickes.he is extremly honest always goes out of his way that extra touch to make it happend.it only takes one time to fix it and that's it.you will be always be happy !!!!!!!!
