Short Story: A good dry cleaning place in Central Fremont.

Long Story: I've been coming to this dry cleaners for about 2 years now. I used to go to Walnut Dry Cleaners but they closed during the pandemic. The prices are fairly reasonable and the outcome of the cleaning has always been good. The parking lot is a bit small so you'll need to find street parking. In addition, the normal turnaround time is about 4-5 days so be sure to plan ahead. In addition, in reading the other reviews be sure to unbutton all your clothing as they might not be responsible to for broken buttons!

Verdict: I'm coming back in advance of my next interview!

She was able to alter my dress at the last minute. The quality was not rushed. Her work was very well done. I am so thankful!

If you need high low dresses to be hemmed, this is not the place. I took one in and the lady was confused as to why it was made this way, basically blaming the dress for having style. She said she couldn't do it so I took it to Alterations To Go and the lady there took it in. She said she can definitely hem it a few inches all around - no problem.

I've been a long-time customer of Mimo Alterations & Cleaners and have been going here for years for alterations and drycleaning. Mimo's tailoring is top notch. She provides excellent suggestions for a great fit and on trend. The prices are pretty reasonable as well.

We gave her a dress and a shirt to clean. I had a small stain on my dress and she reported they will have to use special cleaning solution for an extra $20. Dress came back the stain was still there and said it was difficult to remove. I took it home and wiped it down with warm soapy wet towel and it's gone!
I don't think they even bothered to try to clean it and was charged an extra $20 for it!
I'm sorry but if you will charge me an exorbitant amount if extra fee and seems like it wasn't really done then I question the integrity of the business.

My regular dry cleaners was on vacation so I decided to bring some things here. I entrusted them with a $350 skirt made of cashmere and wool blend I'd only worn once out, and unfortunately it returned with snagging. They attached it to the hanger with a safety pin, which snagged the threads of the skirt and created a pull. I also saw one long pull across the bottom of the skirt. Maybe my fault for bringing an expensive item here, but I would've expected more delicate handling of a customer's things. My other items weren't damaged, but I'm really disappointed because this skirt was in pristine condition before I brought it here.

Took my husband's new suit pants to be hemmed and a few jackets to be pressed. She was able to ensure we got them back in time and we are happy with the fast turnaround for his pants alterations and pressing of jackets! Great value for the items we needed taken care of! Found a new dry cleaners for sure!

I needed 2 of suits, jacket and pants, altered. I went to Mimo's not really knowing what to expect. When I arrived, I told her what I needed done. She then made measurements, asked when I needed it by, gave me a quote, and that was it. I also asked to have them dry cleaned. I picked up my suits at the time we discussed and everything came out great! Highly recommended and will definitely go back!!
