I recently moved and was in the market for a new sofa...

I contacted several furniture stores in greater Vancouver as well as the North Shore.

I was extremely surprised by the negative way I was treated as if the sales people were all doing me a favour.

When I spoke to Vicky at Moe's I was very pleasantly surprised.

Vicky was knowledgeable, very wiling and helpful...even going out of her way to send me several emails/swatch colours and showroom
shots of the sofas I liked to help me make a decision.

This made such a difference for me as I was short on time and a long distance away.

Due to her professionalism, kindness and excellent ideas and information I chose to buy from Moe's.

Delivery was hassle free with white glove service.

We recently purchased a sofa (Nov 22), plus accessories, from the Moe's location in Vancouver and had the opportunity to have CJ as our sales consultant. We were impressed dealing with CJ, who kept us updated on any delays encountered as well as promptly responding to our queries, even on his days off. We certainly appreciated CJ going that extra step for us and look forward to dealing with him on future purchases.

My designer assist Mr. Mohammad Abbas is a perfect and expert. We had good service and high efficiency. So happy to buy the furniture from Moe.

I purchased a sectional for $5,000 from Moe's. I had been recommended to them by my son who has the same sofa. We found originally that the cushions seemed thin and that we sunk low into the sofa. Not comfortable at all. When checking with Moe's they noted that the sofa needed to be fluffed. We have been out of the country and have not had a chance to use it that much, until the last couple months. We have found no improvement and now feathers are constantly coming out of all the cushions. When I contacted them today, they stated again that the cushions needed to be fluffed and the feathers have quills like a needle, and they will continue to come through the fabric. This sofa is extremely uncomfortable and we definitely are getting the brush off. Would not recommend purchasing anything from Moe's.

I've been eyeing something for the office and found two that we really liked. I emailed them and Gene got back to me. I decided to go to the store to see it in person before making a final decision.

I described the space to Gene and what else was there and he gave us some advice on how best to utilize that space without it feeling cluttered or overwhelming. Decision made! I paid, he got my information for delivery and I was on my way.

He also gave me a lovely tour of the 2nd floor with all their new products. Thank you Gene for your help today!

They have some nice stuff, and I went into the Glen St store to actually buy a piece of furniture. But you should know that they don't sell anything out of this "store" - as the sales rep said, "this is just a showroom." So if you see something you want, you have to:
a) drive to the warehouse on Annacis Island to pick it up; or
b) pay $200, and wait maybe a week (as I was told), to have the item delivered.

I was given no other option. We've had major appliances delivered for less than this - with 3 guys, dollies, lifts, etc. And I'm sure Moe's furniture has a much bigger margin than appliances. The item I was intending to purchase was a 55" long cabinet that probably weighs less than 20 kg. I'd have ordered it if they'd at least given me the option to pick it up at this store, but they don't do that. The sales rep said the drive to Annacis Island would take "15 minutes" - from 1st and Clark. That's pretty funny - maybe at 5 a.m. and making all the lights, but seriously, it'd take ~15 minutes just to get over the bridge to Richmond, if you were lucky. And that's maybe half way.

So to update this review: Upon opening a case for our cracked Drey nesting tables in July, we were promised a replacement. However it was on back-order until November we were told. In December finally, we did indeed receive a replacement - free of charge - and we got to keep the table that had a crack. Hence the three stars.

The rug we ordered (BossaNova) seems to be falling apart after a few months. We constantly have to vacuum the carpet as big lumps of threads and "fluff" are coming out of it, and spreading all over the surrounding floors. It just looks messy, so we are shopping for a new carpet and will put this one in the garbage shortly. In future we'll go to more high-end stores, or even Ikea (which has a one-year return policy for any item).

my sales person Brad showed me all the options available, and I ended up ordering a great custom sectional, and the timelines for things with everything happening in Canada right now, were very reasonable.
As most other furniture stores either didnt have a date, or the date was over a year.

5 star service!

Bought 2 storage beds. The slats don't allow most mattresses to lie flat. Our bed started to sag in the middle because of missing slat in middle. They were very friendly blamed everything on mattress which was new, mattress company was o/s and replaced it immediately. It was replaced same problem a couple weeks later. Called Moes and said manager would call back. Two months later no call back. We fixed it for $200 with help of a handyman. Stay away from Moe's I would never go back.

My mom was looking for leather dining chair, we went to Moe to check it out. Moes has a large show room and great prices.

Overall, the furnitures are stylish and modern. They always carry brands furniture in good price.

We didn't feel any pressure to shop at there and the staff was helpful.
