Carlos and Eric are fantastic. They created a concrete pad for our backyard aviary, including integrating a drain system to make it easier to clean the floor. Their workmanship is impeccable and I definitely highly recommend them. The initial quote was done quickly and scheduling was fast and convenient as well. They are a great team and I'm grateful for the great job they did.

Monarch is a family run business who just finished repouring my driveway and garage floor. Wow! It looks great and could not be happier with the finished product! Carlos and Eric are presently finishing up our walkway and adjacent path project. I can't say enough positive comments about both of them! From start to finish, I am extremely impressed with their communication, timeliness and dedication to my job.

I had called to get an estimate, and they were able to come the next morning (working around my meetings). I was replacing badly installed flagstone which was well beyond its useful life. Eric and Carlos came and explained what they would do and provided an estimate. Because I wanted colored concrete to match our existing drive, I had to attempt to match colors. Well, I was way off, and thankfully both came by and showed me various tile swatches. With their help and keen eyes, we found the match.

The first day was spent removing the flagstone and digging out the previous concrete foundation. To say they are hard workers is an understatement! Lifting heavy slabs of concrete to discard, plus digging it all out was amazing to watch. The second day was spent compressing the base with stone and setting the frame. Today they poured the concrete, and worked it to a smooth surface, then stamped to match our driveway... this was perfection at its best! They are perfectionists and true craftsmen, and take pride in their work.

We highly recommend Monarch Concrete and will certainly use them again to repair our sidewalk problem. It is so nice to see a father and son team work so well and so diligently. We couldn't be more pleased with their work!

(Note: This project was done earlier this year.) I called Monarch Concrete for a front yard project that had a grade. The area we wanted to concrete was uneven, and had large trees close by with huge roots. Prior to having work done to the front yard, it was uneven in several areas, partly because of these roots. We wanted to make this area usable. Eric and Carlos came by, spoke to them of what we were looking for, they took measurements of the area, and they accepted the job. They told me this will be a two day job. Later that day, Eric called to give me the estimate, and we scheduled a date to start. Any questions or concerns I had, Eric answered and addressed them.

The first day they spent clearing the area, digging, evening out sections, taking out roots, took out a dead stump, and prepped the area. The second day they poured the concrete, shaped and smoothed the area. They spent a good amount of time smoothing out the surface at the end of the project. Our front yard came out looking great, and we are very happy with how it turned out!

Eric and Carlos did a wonderful job, and we highly recommend them! Working with them was so easy, communication was great, and their work is cleanly done. We plan to contact them when we're ready for another project we are planning to do on our property. During the same time this project was being done, they worked on my Mom's front walkway, and driveway, which came out really nice! She was happy with their work as well.

Monarch Concrete is a father and son, family owned business. Carlos and his son Eric came over to my son's house to give a free estimate and valuable suggestions on our project. The price was very reasonable, and they started about a week ago.

I had to wait about three weeks until they finished other projects before mine. But this is a good thing because they focus on one project at a time to do quality work.

They are working on our French drain and forming, and then will be pouring concrete and finishing the back patio and both sides of the house.

Carlos and Eric are very friendly, hard-working, understanding, and have pride in their work. My family and I are very happy to have them working on our project.

Eric and Carlos did an exceptional job repairing the sidewalk in front of our home in San Francisco. They were super responsive, clear and kind -- and their price was extremely fair in comparison to other quotes we recieved. They replaced the sidewalk very quickly, and we're so happy with the finished result. It feels great to support a family owned small business instead of a huge construction company.
