Needed a fan light fixture replaced and relied on Yelp to help me find a local electrician. Fortunate to find that first try. Mopia Electric proved reliable, trustworthy, efficient, reasonably priced licensed electrician. They're knowledgeable, prompt and completely professional. I will always call on them for electrical needs in the future.

Randy and his team are reliable, experienced, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. His team did not disappoint our expectations, and ensured that we passed all County inspections.

Just wrapped up a project with Randy and his team. They added recessed lighting, a bathroom vent fan, and an EV charger outlet to our home. A little back ground for the service that was provided. Iam converting from gas range to electric so I needed a 240 outlet. Other contractor wanted to run a conduit and run it along the outside of the house to the back then thru the kitchen.
Customer care and doing it correctly.

Randy, suggested a sub panel and run a 40 Amp thru the stucco into the garage, subpanel then up inside the walls to the attic then drop down to the kitchen. Cleaner look. Minimal hole and they patch the sheet rock.
Randy, even found and corrected a sketchy wiring installed in my main panel.
Work was completed fast and outcome was great.

Randy spent 10min on the phone with me, explaining fuse box replacements and discussing quotes I received from other electricians, even though he doesn't work in my area and will never make any money from me! It was so helpful to know why I was getting one $2000 quote and several $5000 quotes for what I thought was the same thing; it turns out the amps (100 vs 200) makes a huge difference!

Renovating a 80+ year old house that was never updated, I needed entire house rewire, panel upgrade, along with a ton of new lights. Although we have a little work left (mostly PG&E's work), I couldn't wait to put some good words out there because we just LOVED Randy and the team...

For one thing, they are simply great people. I enjoyed going to the site to meet them for the last 3 weeks. Any question, Randy will explain in detail. I learned a ton about electrical around the house!

And their work quality is superb. Passed the inspection with flying colors, that says a lot. Randy always made sure to get my feedback on the work and that I am happy with the result. They are also the cleanest and tidiest crew I've ever seen, and that's reflected in their work. Precise and clean. And competitive pricing!

Best thing about Mopia electric is that Randy is super easy to communicate with, so it made the whole process a breeze. Rewiring involved a lot of small and big decisions than I thought. How many lights, location of lights, location of switches, etc., I often had to explain how I want certain things, and Randy just gets it.

100% recommend them, especially if it's a big, complicated job like rewire.

This rating is primarily regarding responsiveness and follow-up.

Randy seems like a nice guy, he came out and reviewed my request for an EV charger to be installed. He even said he'd contact a friend about some options for my installation scenario. However, there was never any follow-up.

I attempted to contact Randy multiple times without any response, I assume he simply isn't interested, which is fine, but just let me know so I can make other arrangements.

Randy and his crew went above and beyond. They were thorough and efficient. This isn't the first time I've used Mopia Electric and it probably won't be the last. I'm a satisfied customer.
