I had been struggling with lumbar back pain for since an accident in January. I was referred to More Physical Therapy by my doctor and I am so glad I made the decision to go.

My physical therapist, Ulysis, was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, and always had a welcoming and positive attitude which made for a comfortable and personal experience. He took the time to understand my specific pain and create a treatment plan that was tailored to my needs.

I was also really impressed with how self-motivated Ulysis made me feel. He showed me how to do exercises at home that would help me strengthen my back and prevent future pain. I actually looked forward to going to my appointments because I knew I was going to learn something new and get better.

After just a few weeks of treatment, I started to notice a big difference in my back pain. I am so grateful to Ulysis for helping me get my life back to normal. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is struggling with physical pain.

Ulysis Milanes is one of the best PT's I've ever had. He has a real talent in knowing when to push and when to ease off. He listens to me. He is a really nice guy and has a calming presence. Most importantly, thanks to Ulysis, I've become a lot stronger and have a lot less pain. I recommend him without reservations!

My overall experience with More PT has been great! I have done so well in my walking and learning all the proper exercises that I needed for my post op total Hip Relacement. Ulysis is top notch in my book! very personable, as well as the best PT I could have ever found. I have no complaints , this has changed my life in so many ways. I was in pain for 5 years before I had the Hip Replacement, the pain did get so unbearable I could not work at my job anymore, so I knew the time has come to rid myself of the pain that consumed my life. The total experience with all who work for More PT has been just wonderful, all polight and professional. They have my recommendation, and especially Ulysis, he works at Foster City and Burlingame office.......Ulysis deserves the 5 star rating, and if it offered more stars, he would get every one, thanks Ulysis for saving me from a forever limp......and all your help in taking care of my post op new Hip, My Hip thanks you also..............

called to schedule an appointment. receptionist said she would check but I could hear her talking with at least 3 other people while I waited for several minutes. Felt completely ignored, and as a first impression I can only expect that any subsequent interactions with this place would proceed in the same manner. Patients are not the priority here.

edit: responding to the reply: AFAIK there is nothing protected by HIPAA about how you deal with initial patient phone calls, except maybe that I overheard the receptionist talking to other patients about their issues instead of speaking with me about mine. I'm no expert though.

Over the years I've been to a number of physical therapy locations and I've found More PT in Burlingame to be one of the best, mostly due to their personal but also due to the facility itself.

I started PT with Bryan and I'm really glad I got him! He is very aware of anatomy and knows the best exercises for a particular problem. He is detail oriented and can explain exactly what is going on with the tendons and joints that have been giving me trouble. He is also gentle and concerned with my well being. He might be the lead therapist at this location because the support staff seem to come to him with questions or for advice on how to do something.

Speaking of which, the support staff are also very good, friendly and attentive, following the direction of the physical therapists to guide exercises and set patients up with ice and electrical stimulation (for pain relief). Even their receptionist is friendly, and remembered my name just after one visit. I think that shows they see their clients as a real people, not just as bodies passing through a system.

The location is well lit, spacious and clean. It does not have a ton in the way of gym equipment but has enough for the rehab exercises.

      I recommend this location.

They say "A Good First impression Can Work Wonders"... I injured my back a little over a year ago and the path to recovery has been extremely slow due to Covid. I've had very bad experiences with WC doctors and PT places. Today I had my first visit at MORE which is very close to my job, I couldn't be happier and hopeful that I'm finally going to make a progress and I won't be as miserable as I've been for this past months with pain. I met with Chris and for the first time I did not feel that my appointment was being rushed, he took his time to find the root cause of my pain, he explained very well how the therapy was going to go and I found him very knowledgeable. I'm extremely happy I found this place and even though it was just my very first appointment, the impression that I got from Chris and the staff makes me believe that this is my place. Highly recommend! Would give them more stars if I could ;)

I've been woefully remiss in not writing a review sooner for Chris Kuhn at MORE. I'd had multiple poor experiences with physical therapy and was not at all motivated to start a fresh bout of PT again. But at my doctor's insistence and encouragement, and more to get it out of the way than truly expecting anything positive ... I finally went to Chris. Wow wow wow, I cannot heap enough applause and praise on him and his method. He is not your run of the mill cookie cutter sorta guy, who just phones it in and goes on auto pilot. He's the total opposite: he takes the time to go over my history, to evaluate and assess. He's got a ton of experience under his belt, and really sees who I am. Rather than giving me generic exercises to do at home and at the clinic, he customizes every single thing. You might think that this should be de rigeur, but it isn't. So often, providers take the easy way and follow the book, the protocol, do what they've been taught. Big whoop. I never respond to this. I originally went to him for my back, then for my neck, and then my lumbar again. He's super flexible in meeting my needs and is also terrific in communicating with my doctor and coordinating with my insurance company. I saw him a few years ago, and after I made the progress I wanted, I stopped. Then went back again ... till COVID hit. I'm on hiatus, waiting to resume until after the pandemic eases up. The greatest testimony to his methods and his personality: despite not going in to see him currently, I'm continuing to do my exercises at home, perhaps not as diligently as I should--but some of them. He's very well informed and best of all, he thinks independently. He takes feedback very well and doesn't get defensive ... over the years, I feel we learned a natural way to optimally work together. Awesome PT, the best ever I've worked with, so grateful that my doctor, who knows me well, also figured that I'd respond to Chris. If you looking for a PT, this is your guy.

I had an acute ankle injury while playing collegiate baseball spraining my ATFL and CFL. Chris and the staff from MORE were so successful I never had to miss a game. I owe a large part of my playing career to the staff from MORE and I can't give them enough credit.

Now that I'm done playing and had the surgery I needed to repair the ligaments, the staff from MORE was my first and only choice for my physical therapy. I have had the pleasure to work with Chris, Robert, and Karen in the weeks following my surgery and they are all outstanding.

Whether you are a collegiate athlete or a working professional they treat every patient with the individual attention they need to complete their physical therapy.

A huge thank you to the entire staff from MORE Physical Therapy!

I needed physical therapy about 6 months ago, and had a great experience with this place. But the main therapist moved to Sacramento. It was not as good for my remaining sessions.

I have tried calling the Burlingame location a few times recently to see if there are any openings or cancelations to fit me in, and it would seem that they (receptionist? Intake person? whoever the heck answers their phones!!) has no idea how to fit me in. I mean, to book an appointment(!?!?), wouldn't that be somewhat of a priority for any business?

On Friday, albeit it late afternoon, I got their voicemail. I left a detailed voicemail, blah blah blah,.... requesting a call back. Come Monday afternoon at 4:45 I had not received a call back! So I called them again. I got someone (Chris), and I asked why no one returned my call per my voicemail on Friday, since I had left a detailed message and I thought it would be helpful rather than starting over.

Chris may be the nicest person on this planet, but he has no idea how to take these calls, he did not have a clues as to their booking system, had no idea what might have happened to my voicemail on Friday, and would only say that the "coordinator" has been out for three weeks.

I am not trying to order a McDonalds hamburger here, rather simply find someone that is somewhat qualified to talk to. I don't know if they outsource their call lines, but it has reached absurdity.

      Good luck MORE!
