Booked transportation online almost a month ago. They haven't reached out, not responding to phone calls or messages. Looks like some kind of scam. Will be submitting a report on them

Terrible provider. Strung me along for a week and then stopped returning my calls. . Car still not on its way despite being told it would happen on Tuesday and Thursday. Take your business elsewhere these guys are amateurs

TL;DR. Do not use movecar.com if you want your car shipped on a schedule. Just go directly to a shipping company. This is just a middleman who doesn't have any idea when your car will be shipped, by who it will be shipped, or when it will arrive.

1. 8/29 Booked online to have car shipped early morning..
2. Movecar confirmed order was placed. I selected a date of 8/30 to ship.
3. 8/30 came and went. No update on website. I had to call them myself. No sense of urgency from the guy who answered the phone. He said it would be picked up the next day.
4. 8/31 Called him again, then he explained that they have a truck that needs to pick up 10 cars. They need to go all over the Bay Area to pick them up. So I asked when do you think they will get to pick up my car. He said probably the next day in the afternoon. He said he'd call me the next morning to give me an update.
5. 9/1 No call from him, no update. I tried calling again twice.... No answer. I saw an email showing they charged my credit card? Now the website says it was dispatched. At 1 pm there was a call from the real truck driver, "I'll be there between 1 pm and 3 pm". "Today?" I asked. He said, "No Monday".
It took them 7 days just to pick up the car, when the "website" estimated 8/30. The worst experience I've had shipping a car.

This website is a scam! dont use, 829 USD to move car form dallas to Boston, company never pick up the car, dont respond to email and never answer the phone.

My son moved to Michigan for his graduate degree and decided that with the pandemic winding down he needed his car. I had never shipped a car before so I did an internet search and was bombarded with dozens of auto transport companies all making lots of promises. Unfortunately the reviews weren't always positive or customers reported additional charges when their car was picked up or delivered.

I spoke to a friend who suggested that I take a look at the Move Car website, and then talk to a couple of my co-workers who had used the Move Car website to arrange their cross country car moves. They had a positive move experience so I proceeded to get an online quote. The Move Car website gathered information about the car and where it was going, then presented me with a calendar showing various rates depending on which date the car ships. Since I had some flexibility I chose one of the lower priced days to get a lower price.

Not long after completing the order and paying via credit card I was contacted so that an exact shipping date could be arranged. The auto transport driver contacted me the day before arrival, confirmed a very convenient car pickup location a block from my house, then told me that he would call me 30 minutes before arriving to pick up the car. He showed up right on time, carefully inspected the car and took lots of pictures. The driver provided me with a digital copy of the vehicle condition report, then promptly loaded the car onto his truck and he was off. I was impressed how quickly everything was completed.

Fast forward three days and my son received a call from the driver stating that he would be arriving the next day to deliver the vehicle at his apartment complex. My son reported that the car arrived in perfect condition and the offloading procedure was just as fast as the pickup. I was amazed that shipping my car over 2000 miles only took four days.

I've spent more time shipping packages via UPS. I was very happy with Move Car and would definitely use their service again.

I need my classic car transported from Idaho to California. Amazing service! Not only did my car get picked up a day early, it arrived early the next day! Excellent customer service, due to my car being a classic, I was upgraded to an enclosed trailer at no extra cost! I highly recommend and would definitely use their services again!

I used Move Car to transport my car from California to Texas. This is a broker. The gentleman always answered my question and was polite. While there were no issues transporting my car, it did not promise on some of the things on the website like gps tracking. They did not pick up my car on the scheduled date and I had to take off work for the postponed date. Then on the postponed date, they tried to push my pick up again!! I could not take off work again so they agreed to pick up my car on the postponed date. I had to meet the transporting company at the next town over if I wanted my car transported. I did not mind since I was desperate to have my car shipped. Luckily, the actual company transporting my car was easy to reach. So if you're looking for your car to get from Point A to Point B without all the bells and whistles, I would recommend. But PLEASE make sure you, as the customer, are on it and they do keep your schedule appointment.

The communication was horrible through the moving process. We had to initiate all communication even when the company decided they were not going to pick up the car on the day we needed. They promised to pick up on the day we requested when we were quoted. We found out on the day that our car would not be picked up that day. On top of that, we were told we would need to pay the driver an additional $200 cash when the car was delivered. The whole experience was horrible, we were taken advantage of, and the company did nothing to help us.
