I can't think of a single store that has been so successful at fulfilling my holiday shopping needs in a one-stop-shop. From kitschy vintage magazines circa 1960's to trendy cards and candleholders, this spot has something for your Grandma, your mom, your nephew, and your fiancé. Adorable, handcrafted trinkets and wall décor fill the store, and the pricing isn't out of the ballpark for most items.

This is definitely a place to hit up for your next occasion, whether it's a baby shower, an engagement, or a birthday. Wish Bone has it all!

Such a cute store with lots of toys and decor items located in the Inner Sunset. I recently revisited this store and while browsing for myself, I brought my Pup a dog toy. I usually let him pick out his own toys but this time, one of the staff brought over this Starbarks Drink toy and he's obsessed with it. Especially with the straw stuck out begging for him to chew. Friendly service.

Update: We still have this dog toy but the straw part is gone. He still loves it.

A beautiful shop. All sorts of toys and cards as well as clever gifts to delight most anyone. Excellent and high quality goods thoughtfully procured.

The store is simply laid out and well thought out.

This store is the second of two stores in SF.

I was with my girl in this store and she thought this silly mushroom thing was cute so I wanted to surprise her with it. I went up to the shopkeep and made a gesture of silence and nodded towards my girl and the shopkeep instantly "understood the assignment" and quietly took the toy and scanned it, and then she distracted my girl with some sales technique on some cards as I made the payment. My girl did not notice any of it and when I showed her the toy later on, she thought I was Houdini, James Bond, 007 combined into one hahahah, but thank you to the shopkeep for being so awesome!!!

Best gift store for "a little something" and fantastic array of cards. I ALWAYS find something here... cannot walk out without spending more money than I planned The owner and staff are very pleasant and helpful. Please shop at this delightful local store!

This store has the best SF magnets I've seen! They're eell crafted and look fancy unlike a lot of the ones you'll find in other gift shops. There's also a great selection of cards for all occasions, including a lot of ones with pop culture references (cards with post malone, the beatles, schitts creek, the office etc.).

Be forewarned: this business will not automatically give you a receipt because, as a store employee put it, "it's bad for the environment." You're supposed to either have noticed some fine print under glass in pale green lettering or nothing a screen asking if you want a receipt. I paid in cash. I was not asked if I wanted a receipt nor would I have had a reason to look at that screen. I bought some reading glasses, got home to discover I selected the wrong strength, tried to only exchange them for the correct strength, got nowhere, was told the conversation was over. Nice.

Good selection of toys, home goods, and tchockies. They discreetly and quickly packaged my purchase while I was juggling my infant and toddler. Efficient and conscientious staff.

Awesome place to get SF based trinkets and gifts. The card selection is funny and topical. And I've always been able to find a good present or three.

A man walked up to my eight year old daughter and said "if you spill anything, you're buying them!" He scared her, and we definitely felt we're not welcomed. Sucks when your neighborhood business that's filled with kids stuff is unkind. He could have approached things differently.

We were visiting today from Springfield, Il. We used to live and work in SF and enjoyed returning to a fab gift shop, Wishbone. They offer a wide selection based on your sense of humor and quirky particulars. Choices for kids and adults are varied and there are certainly gifts for all occasions. We needed some SF souvenirs and found more than enough to choose from.
Employees were very helpful and not clingy, quite a plus. Gave a lot of room for browsing. Also paid good attention to masking and sanitizing.
