Finding Napa General Store was a breeze, nestled conveniently in the heart of Napa. Upon arrival, we indulged in their delightful mimosa flights, which were both fruity and delicious, offering a perfect start to our day.

The standout feature of our visit was undoubtedly the staff. Luis and his team were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Their recommendations were spot-on, enhancing our enjoyment of the morning.

Overall, Napa General Store combines great location, delicious offerings like mimosa flights, and a friendly, helpful staff led by Luis. Whether you're a local or visiting, it's a must-visit spot for a delightful Napa Valley experience.

Stopped in for lunch on our recent visit. Service and food were good. Located within the Napa Mill Development, it's a cozy, rustic, store/restaurant/wine tasting bar featuring riverfront patio dining, as well as indoor seating. Parking lot at the Main St. entrance, and on street parking at the 5th St. entrance.

FOOD: We tried a cup of the soup of the day, Clam Chowder ($8), and their Famous Chinese Chicken Salad ($17), which was delicious. Others in our party had the Napa Caesar Salad ($15.50) with shrimp (+$8), the Chopped Chicken Salad ($21.75), and Chicken Sandwich with fries and aioli dipping sauce ($21.75). Everyone was very happy with their food.

The Napa General Store was a fun stop for a nice lunch, pre-wine tasting, and a little shopping. We would visit again when in the area.

We made a 1:00 PM reservation for a Mother's Day brunch for a group of 20 family members today. We arrived at 12:50 PM, and the hostess and the manager, Luis, said the table was ready and seated us immediately. There was no wait. We also needed space for a motorized wheelchair, and the staff made room and moved tables around. They were helpful and accommodating.
The servers were truly attentive throughout our visit. For a group as large as ours, she was quick to respond to our needs, ensuring we never had to look for her.
The food was delicious. My family ordered breakfast items, which they enjoyed, and my son enjoyed their Quiche. The cheeseburger was cooked just the way I requested.
If you order just one thing here, I HIGHLY recommend the Chocolate Beignets, which are PHENOMENAL, very fluffy, and tasteful.
This is a great location. There is a garage with lots of handicapped spots, which is what we needed for a wheelchair. There is a very good bakery next door. Outside the restaurant, there is a fountain to take photos. Great place to sit outside, eat and enjoy the weather.

As a family, we enjoyed a great Mother's Day brunch!

What left a lasting impression was the manager and his staff's dedication to providing good service. Making sure their customers have a positive experience is their priority. Multiple times, the manager and staff reached out to make sure we had everything we needed, and the manager Luis even checked in at the end, even after the check was paid, to make sure we had a good experience.

I'm very supportive of local small businesses and this is one I highly recommend you come visit.

A fun stop to relax with casual dining. The theme is a general store, that existed in the past, wit a barn type feel. Polished concrete floors and hanging lights. They have a bar and happy hour that wasn't part of our visit today

The famous Chinese cabbage chicken salad was nicely presented with excellent flavors.
If you are looking for casual dining this is a good place to try.

Good riddance! This use to be a traditional breakfast spot for my now deceased mother. As I continued to go, the service got snobbier and the food quality declined slightly. I once preferred a table over the one the employee was going to seat me, and she had an attitude. Bye Felicia! I have greatly enjoyed my new breakfast joint.

This is the cutest story I've been to all year! I love it, so many different products to look at and buy! They even have a wine suitcase. Very cute cards and honey and body wash so many different things to choose from! They have snacks too! There's a restaurant inside as well I highly recommend. Drew so cool and she said it's the stores 23rd anniversary.

With great sadness, our beloved breakfast spot is permanently closed after 20 years. We went there for reservations this morning and found out they closed unexpectedly on August 12, 2024.

This place is closed, do not come. Our reservation was accepted and we were asked to confirm it the morning of. Turns out we drove an hour to find out it's been permanently closed for 2 weeks

This place had a typical standard American brunch. What I had an issue with is that their menu prices did not match the final bill. Everything was billed as a separate item later. We ordered chicken waffle and the menu states $26 but the bill came out 1 waffle $15, add chicken $12. I also ordered a side of short stack pancakes for my kid which was $7 on the menu and the final bill came out to be $11? The waiter said it's a system thing.... is that really my issue? Please either update your menu prices or your computer system.

We walked in with 12 people, no reservation right in the middle of Sunday brunch. Not only did they accommodate us, and rearrange tables so we could all sit together, they were super nice about it. (We let them know how much we appreciated them, verbally and in our tip!) Great food, beautiful patio, cute shop, amazing service. Look forward to returning!
