I have had my industrial sewing machine I purchased from them for years without issue, also my new Janome which works like a charm, both of my vintage machines serviced from them and they always have the frills and thrills for an avid seamstress. I don't know what I would do without them!
They are open when they say they are open, and they advise you honestly and with integrity. It's so sad there are so few businesses like them out there anymore. 100% BEST OF THE BAY! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!

My sewing machine was broken...for over 6 years. Finally got it fixed. Was an easy peasy thing for the shop to repair. I was able to walk around the store and check out all the various vacuums for sale, as well as items for cleaning, while it was being looked at.

Pleasant, professional and thorough, my sewing machine is now fixed. I will be back when i need something else.

Great service. Been going to them for years. Have moved out of Napa but continue to go back to them when my machines need service. They are quick and stand by their work. Plus they are willing to answer questions.

I picked up a vacuum at a yard sale for 20 bucks. Not really sure it was functioning properly I stopped in Napa sew and vac with the vacuum thinking I might want to trade it in. Although reasonably priced most were more than I wanted to spend. The owner I think was so nice I told him my concerns and for free he checked it out and told me it was a good vacuum and that I probably didn't need to get a new one right now. I really appreciate his honesty and the fact that he did not try to sell me something I didn't really need. I went home confident set my rugs and floors would be clean and provide me with a healthy environment thank you Napa sew and vac, on Solano For being so caring. I give you five stars, and a thumbs up. I will be back!

These guys are remarkable. They know everything and more about sewing machines and vacuums. Alway go above and beyond. Hard to believe a place this special still exists.

I placed an online order for a pair of scissors. As an environmentalist I am fed up with the amount of single use plastic and on my order form I wrote the following:

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES is this order to be shipped in any form of toxic single-use plastic! This includes - do not use a plastic or padded envelope neither of which can be composted This includes - do not use plastic bubble wrap or plastic peanuts This includes - do not swaddle the scissors in an excessive amount of plastic tape - one inch will suffice A simple cardboard shipping box and some paper is required Thanks!

Napa Sew and Vac completely disregarded my note and shipped in a cheap plastic envelope AND had the nerve to charge me $6.50! They put all of 3 stamps on the envelope ! WTF? RIP OFF.

I opted to order from them because they are a small business. I could have ordered from a bigger dog but assumed that people in Napa can 1) read 2) would be environmentally conscious. Wrong.

If you're looking for a great place to purchase a vacuum or sewing machine this is it! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and happy to assist with making your selections.
They are also my go to shop for service, tuneup, and repair.

They have way better cleaning equipment than the box stores. This is the place to get a vacuum that works great, lasts long, and is a pleasure to operate.
