      After my NISSAN dealership in Sunnyvale, CA went out of business (possibly due to Covid) I had to start looking for a new place to service my 2015 Rogue.
      Hopefully near my home (RWC).
      I find on Yelp a 4 1/2 stars (very impressive) dealership in Burlingame, CA (about 15 minutes drive from my home). Yes, I have a Nissan dealership right in my town but they have a horrible reputation...
      So I call Nissan of Burlingame for an appointment. When I arrived I was greeted by Kevin O, he explained to me what will be done and how long it will take.
      Change transition fluid, oil and filter change, tire rotation and safety check = 3 hours.
      The job was finished a little earlier! He also recommended what service I'll need the next time (90k)...flush the radiator etc.
      I was very satisfied with the job they did, the speed and the price.
      Btw, after changing my trans fluid my MPH improves (great news with a $6.19/gallon price)!!!

      Fixed my car with no issue. The guy who guided me to the service department is super friendly. People in the service department are nice and efficient. The work is done within 2 hours and I got to pick my car up right after lunch. Absolutely No complaints here.
      -1 star because when I called for an appointment, the lady who answered the phone sounded impatient and rude. When I didn't hear something clearly and asked her to repeat, she repeated s u p e r s l o w and not really the good kind of slowness.

      In Regards To: Free Advertising

      On September 3, 2016 I purchased a new Nissan Pathfinder from Autocom Nissan East Bay. As I was living, at that time, in Hayward it made sense to buy this vehicle in an east bay location. In late 2017 I moved to Belmont and started to take my Pathfinder to your service location in Burlingame as it was more convenient for me. The earliest invoice I have, from your service department, is March 17, 2018 which is probably my first visit for service. A few days later I discovered that your service department had, without my permission, put your license plate frame on my car. I called and actually talked to one of the owners of Putnam and asked him why you had done this without asking first? I was told it always happens when you purchase a vehicle from them. I told MR. Putnam, directly, that I didn't buy my car from his company. Basically, he said something to the effect he didn't have time to discuss something this silly and that it always happens just because. I never heard again from him or anyone from Putnam.
      I have calculated the number of days of free advertisement I have given your dealership to be 2027 days (3/17/2018 to 10/4/2023). At $3 per day that comes to $6081.

      Please remit promptly as I will add interest of 29% per week until paid in full.

      I've been coming to this dealership for over 9 years ago (car service )

      Kevin is the one who always helps me !!! He's great , punctual and he explains to me every detail about my car !! If something needs to be change or sone !!
      He's also super patient with me !!

      I don't leave my car there if he's not there ! I really recommend this place with this guy ! He's so helpful !!!!

      **If you want a GREAT buying experience go to Nissan of Fremont and talk to Jr.**

      If you want mind games, emotional manipulation, abuse, and a terribly run down dealership go to Burlingame Nissan and talk to Joe. Or... go there if you're in college, taking Psychology 101, and want to see a demonstration of something out of your textbook.

      We spoke with Joe by phone yesterday to check their stock and numbers. We made an appointment and arrived this morning at opening to test drive, build a relationship, and do business! Joe had an awesome phone presence. I even (jokingly) told my partner I was expecting him to flip in person because he was so amicable and responsive. Welp...he did.

      After the test drive we were ready to talk numbers and close the deal. We selected a color (mistake) and went inside to move forward. As mentioned, we came to do business. Our starting offer was 2k under ask. And you would have thought we slapped his mother. His personality switched IMMEDIATELY. He went to talk to "The Boss".

      When he came back to the table he told us the color we wanted was magically no longer available (no other customers on the grounds...but, maybe a perfectly timed online order because I'm sure these guys are earnest). He became hostile; visibly and audibly upset. He was demonstrative and so, so rude.

      He would not sit back down nor negotiate or discuss (like a normal sales person). He basically kicked us out of the chairs and started loudly fast talking about time and disrespect how he'd offered his best number and something about integrity. He let us know we could just go somewhere else if we wanted to negotiate, talk more about the numbers (isn't that what we came to do?) or, if thought we could get a better price.

      So, we did.

      But, not before being followed outside where he demanded to be given back the printed itemized breakdown for the car ("The Boss" needed it back). LOL. (By the way, Jr from Fremont Nissan texted us the same breakdown as we were walking out--not proprietary information by any means, just another power play mind game.)

      We hurriedly walked (ran) to our car laughing nervously because neither of us had ever encountered that type of ANTI customer service before. We went straight to Nissan of Fremont from Burlingame and we bought the car! No mind games. No bullshit. Definitely no disrespect. And a beautiful and comfortable dealership to boot. Jr. was an amazing salesperson whom I highly recommend. Everyone he works with is equally superior in their quality of service compared to Burlingame Nissan.

      We just purchased a 2019 Nissan Maxima SL. Our salesman's name was James and we could not have gotten a better person. He was super friendly, accommodating, professional, informed and went above and beyond. We wanted the Maxima SL model, pearl white, dual sunroof and black leather interior. James tracked down the exact SL model and had it shipped to the dealership, the next day! It has all the options we want and in the exact color. I have been to many dealerships an it's always been a difficult experience, but not here. Thank you James and crew, you guys kick ass!

      This car is super nice. It has some beautiful body lines and a plush interior and full of tech and safety items. It has a V-6, if it gets 20 miles a gallon in the city and 30 on the freeway. You cannot beat that power and fuel economy. I drove this thing on the freeway, put it in Sports mode and it took off like a rocket.

      On 2/10, made a phone reservation to have my Nissan Sentra looked at for a smog equip. issue. The female rep. told me to bring my vehicle in at 10:30 and my car would be looked at. She took my name and phone# down. When I arrived there at 10:30, the service manager told me we have no record of you making any appt. He said flat out we're not able to help you at all today. So I made the trek down there for nothing.
      Quite frankly I wouldn't feel comftorable about Nissan of Burlingame doing an honest and reliable repair work, if they can't even book a service appt. efficiently!

      First time service customer at Nissan of Burlingame. Booked appointment online with no issues. Showed up on my appointment date, received a quick routine oil and tire rotation service. The service was awesome, and we will be going back again. Thank you!

      This is just for the service department on Saturday 2/8/2020.

      I've been coming here for the last 5 years, but this last visit was sadly disappointing. I usually go on a weekday, often Fridays, and my car is ready within a reasonable time. It's enough to get a cup of coffee & take an easy stroll in downtown Burlingame. But not this time.

      I admit I made this appointment with the plan of leaving my car behind. I dropped it off at 830a & picked it up at 330p. This was plenty of time to do basic maintenance (i.e. oil change & tire rotation) & a quick car wash (that I requested & was told would take an extra hour to do). In the middle of that, I got a call asking to do more on my car that would cost me more money. I'm used to this, but just couldn't commit this time around. Being a loyal customer, I figured they'd understand.

      Sadly, when I got my car it was dirtier than I had left it! No car wash after all. All I got was, "Sorry we couldn't get to it..." It makes me wonder if it was because I declined almost $500 worth of additional services so they just deemed my car not even worthy for a wash? Where was the call updating me on that? Then on my report, they just wrote in all caps "DIRTY" next to the recommendations & the prices next to that... I felt terrible & completely uncared for. It's tough to think I'd trust them to spend that kind of money the next time around.

      The absolute best car buying experience I have had. The team here are so nice. They are not pushy. They listen to what you are looking for. They are honest. And they will do anything they can to make you happy. This review applies to the sales team and the finance team. Best! Seriously the best.
