Talk about what a "Self-Service Car Wash" should be, look no further than the North Shore Auto Wash.

Tagged along with my friend as it was time for her mini van's monthly wash. It was a sunny day so there was a bit of a line up and look out for traffic congestion as the automatic car wash bays can be accessed through the front and rear street entrances. I've been to numerous automatic car washes myself with my own vehicle and I have to say I was quite impressed how thoroughly clean the mini van came out. It's the closest comparison to being hand washed in my opinion and at $20 for "The Works" it is a little bit more pricier than normal gas station car washes, but more than worth the extra money you are paying. There are plenty of amenities to perform a more detailed clean with vending vacuum and automatic placemat washing stations. In addition there are digital air pressure stations to fill up your tires, a dog washing station, EV vehicle charging stations, and a vending convenience center to get snacks if you are hungry. It's like you are almost at a gas station just without the gas.

If I could give this place a swipe I would. Paid for a cash wash, put the code in and said I already washed my car. No one on site to help. Then paid for second one, only half the receipt printer snd then the screen says error. See below. Called the number, no on answer. Website also not live.

Place is a scam. Run.

I have taken my wife's black suv 3 times buying the luxury wash and each the car has come out with a dirt film. They must not be filtering water or something. $60 and suv is still dirty. Don't use this place.

Appreciate that they keep their machinery well serviced so you get consistent washed.

I have to say that I've never been to such a disappointing car wash in my life. I am not one to get easily confused but I certainly did at the North Shore auto wash. As I drove in, the Red x light does not tell you to stop in the required position so I kept going back and forth. LOL and ended up paying $30 for two car washes. I felt like such a fool but then I noticed upon going into my second stall that the Red x in the first one was actually burnt out which caused me some confusion so just letting people know so they don't spend double on their car wash as well! The windshield and additional glass in my car was still significantly dirty and the machine even failed to get hauling off of my car which wasn't even very thick. Completely not worth your money.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
I have used it twice in the last 2 years and both times I got 1/2 a car wash.

go somewhere else! biggest waste of time. Every single thing I used did not work and they have the worst customer service, nobody tried to help me the guy working had his headphones in and wasn't listening to me. I tried to vaccum my car and both the vacum's did not work then I went into the car wash bay it did not turn on or work after I paid. Nobody came out to see what was going on or help. I sat there for 10 mins until I decided to drive through. Asked for a refund and said it didn't work, no help whatsoever. I should've trusted the reviews on this place, absolute trash.

Man, I wish I had taken the Yelp reviews seriously when I came here.

Rushed to find an auto wash after my car got absolutely dumped on by some seagulls by Lonsdale. $15 for a basic wash - better be pretty good that most places and even gas stations charge less than that.

Couldn't be more disappointed. After the wash - still huge swathes of bird poo all over my dashboard. On prominent, easy to reach areas too. But the real kicker was - the rinse couldn't even get all of their own detergent off. Entire right side of the car still had drops of cleaning fluid, suds, etc.

What a waste of time. Had I know, I would've just rushed home and done a basic wash with a power washer. Don't go here.

So I decided to get a car wash. I went in, the machine actually stopped leaving half my car soaked with soap. He then advised me to go exit and go back in, and go for a new wash, which resulted in the second time of my car being left half soaked with soap. Clearly there is a defect

I asked the rude employee if he could hose down my mirrors that had a lot of soap and foam all over them, he replied no need it will dry up and you will not have any marks on vehicle. I just wanted to use a hose to rinse my vehicle. I asked if he could look at it and he refused to even walk the 5 feet to look he said "don't worry happens all the time" so I left with horrible service and a half car wash.

I had a great experience here at North Shore auto.

I drove from San Francisco and was getting food at A&W across the street. My van was dirty and needed a wash.

I usually have the brush washes were we live (California) and it has damaged some parts (front license plate frame/front bumper). So I was happy to try a touchless wash.

It can be busy, that is for sure, so sometimes the space is limited. You won't have to wait long though because people get done with their cleaning and leave.

Prices are good.
This is also a touchless system (at least the one I used).
I felt the wash did a great job. If your car is heavily dirty, I don't think do believe you will need to have the physical brushing needed.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Definitely recommend and will use again!
