Novato Car Wash

Novato Car Wash is my go-to car wash in SF/Marin.

I live near the Presidio and don't have a solid car wash nearby. There are car washes in Sausalito/Corte Madera that are closer to home, but if I'm heading north anyway, I'm definitely heading to Novato Car Wash if I want anything more than a basic exterior wash.

Since we have 3 kids who make a HUGE mess in the backseat, getting a great interior wash and vacuum is vital. Check and check.

This crew has it dialed in. Reasonable prices, convenient location by 101, and friendly and reliable service. Thanks Novato Car Wash!!

Since the business owner decided to lie in his response I have attached one of my MANY attempts to reach this business when there has been problems. They have failed to reply to any attempt of contact.

The guys were fooling around in my car playing with the stereo and my cd. I watched them doing it all. Even the "manager" there went over and told them I was watching them but they didn't seem to care much and just kept laughing, goofing around in my car. They damaged both the speaker and cd which now has to be professionally removed. They should've spent more time focused on cleaning. I got to Costco and noticed the whole back of the car was still filthy. I tried calling them and emailing them several times. Absolutely no one answers. They'll have to get a letter from my attorney for them to wake up and make it right. I drive up 40 minutes to this car wash and used to really love their work. I'm very unhappy now.

I've used this car wash before for a quick exterior wash and never had an issue until a few days ago.

The attendants use a pressure washer and the paint/sealant around the windows on one side of my car is completely damaged: it looks scratched and most of the paint has been removed. The other side is totally fine. Obviously, one of the two attendants working on my car had no idea what he was doing.

I didn't even bother trying to contact anyone at the business because of the abundance of "We're not responsible for any damage" signs posted. Guess what? You are responsible and you've lost my business.

Trust me cheapest car wash around but watch out they know who tips and who doesn't and they will not clean your car correct if they know you don't tip.

Be my guest and go because prices but the quality of materials / service is negative rating if I could. I was going here for over a year. Once I start seeing younger faces I noticed my car wasn't being cleaned properly, as well as these boys popping they head in my car when they aren't even cleaning it and they are working in another row. Absolutely unprofessional, OMAR didn't even wanna hear or care about your experience he would rather you take your business somewhere else. Horrible owner. People like him why there's takers and greedy people.

All I wanted was for him to see my perspective and many train his employees to be more professional and understand they handling a car over $40,000. Imagine your car getting washed they people who ain't even working on it are kneeling inside , popping they head inside distracting the cleaners - cleaning your car. You would be beyond frustrated.

I really appreciate all the hard workers here tho who come to do the job the best they can. Of course it's all the older folks , Providing world class service. Thank you, and knowing multiple people who work here. I was confirmed by them they have a way of going about tips and finding out who tips or not.

We got the #4 earlier today. During the initial phase of soaping up, the guy on the passenger side dragged the hose up and hit the ridgeline somewhere on the side/top of car. It was a noticeable bump that we could feel and hear. My wife and child were witness to it too. He continued working as if nothing happened. When the wash was done and the car was wiped down, I took a quick look at the side ridgeline of the car but didn't see anything so we went home. But when we got home, we inspected it a little more carefully and noticed a small nick right above the windshield (passenger side) he gave us. It's minor but you don't go into a car wash coming out worse than you came in.

Very disappointed at this $20 car wash we paid for. The guy on the passenger side was very sloppy. DO NOT COME HERE! They will not take care of you. I repeat DO NOT COME HERE! Unless you want them to abuse your car with their careless attitude.

I really like Novato Car Wash. They are fast and efficient. I literally drive out of my way to come here instead of going to Matt and Jeff car wash which less than a mile away from my house because they do a great job without the pushy hard sell tactics at Matt and Jeff's. It is so refreshing to tell someone what you want without a 5 minute negotiation on the upsell.

They always have the best customer service and the workers do their best to leave you with a thoroughly cleaned car. I have been coming here for 3 years now and I am always willing to make the drive here because of their service and how well they do! Def recommend to anyone who needs a good interior and exterior clean

Love coming here to get a car wash! Much better than going to the competition which charges less but does a poor job

Never going back to this place again, bad costumer service, they don't clean the cars correct do it all in a hurry and don't even clean the inside windows if I could give them a 0 I would. We need better car wash in Novato.
Everything is all facts, you can make stuff to protect your business but really bad service not worth paying that much money for a trashy clean.

Superb level of detail for the price, it takes me 2 hours to get my car this clean myself, money well spent. I would pay more for full hand wash
And skip the tunnel, but they do an excellent job of a hand pre-wash and hand dry. Rarely do I need to point out any areas they missed, they get all the brake dust, windows are streak free, and the use compressed air to tame the side view mirror dribbles! Solid operation, tip these folks well, they earn it!
