      Ah, such a delight!

One of my favorite places near San Pedro square to have a pint and do some people watching. Live music is available some nights and quiz night is always fun.

Fantastic service too. Bartenders are superb and usually quite busy.

Overall, a great vibe. I prefer the slower nights where the crowd is a bit less to allow myself time to meditate on my pint. There are TVs for live sports, which is always fun.

O'Flaherty's is more than just another bar. It's a pub. Yeah, they sell drinks and food and have sports on the TV, but even the casual observer will immediately spot the sense of community around the place that you get from a pub. The staff and patrons genuinely seem to enjoy being there and it's not cliquish, as you might get in some neighbourhood bars.

There's an ever-rotating selection of not only beers on tap, but also ciders and kombucha for folks that want something different. They also have a good selection of whisk(e)y and tequila and I've had a decent negroni and old fashioned when the evening has called for it. The Guinness pours are consistently proper, and something all the staff pride themselves on. Jameson is the soupe du jour. Sláinte.

As well as supporting the local Bay Area sports teams, they also scratch the itch of many expats for world rugby and soccer events. They're a flag-flying Liverpool bar and home to the Silicon Valley Liverpool supporters club. As such, they often open early for world cup, euro and Liverpool games.

For a place that's open after a lot of bars and restaurants are closed, and is open during downtown events and so-called drinking holidays, the management and staff do a great job at making sure dumb things don't escalate. That may not seem a high bar, but I know that if my friend's (over 21) kids are going there for a drink after an event downtown, they're not likely to end up in the middle of something stupid.

As a dude infected with the soccer bug, O'Flaherty's has become my go-to spot. The past month has been incredible with the Euros and Copa, and I spent more time here than my house, especially for the fantastic patio setup.

The location is great, right in the heart of San Pedro Square. The atmosphere here is unbeatable, and I'm looking forward to watching regular Liverpool games and Champions League. Special shout out to bartender Ben, who always manages to create a friendly, living room vibe that makes everyone feel right at home.

If you're a soccer enthusiast looking for a great place to watch games, this is the spot to beat!

First of all, the waitress that took care of us on a Friday night was wonderful! She was very friendly, charismatic, and checked up on us a couple times.

The food took a while to get to us. Maybe 30 minutes or so, however it was a Friday night and the place was pretty full.

The food was good ol' delicious pub food that we scarfed down. They also had live music playing so that was nice!

I thought this place was great. We drove up for a soccer game and met our supporters group at this pub for pregame drinks and fun. There were a ton of us at this location and everything seemed to run smoothly. Our server definitely had to hustle, but she kept up with our drinks and food orders, she really was great.

I tried a few different spots, yellow, red and green (maybe blue)....hey we were on vacation, so it seems like the right thing to do LOL.

We ordered the coconut shrimp and those things were goooooood. Super crispy, freshly fried and the sweet chili sauce was perfect.

Prices were decent, drinks were poured well, friendly service....we had a great time.

Looking for a late-night dinner with drinks? O'Flaherty's Irish Pub should definitely be one of your options! Located in Downtown San Jose, this is a great place for late-night munchies with your friends, especially since it closes at 2 AM every day!

My friends and I ordered the Irish Fries, Shepherd's Pie, and Mushroom Curry, and I absolutely enjoyed all of it. In terms of taste, it's a 12/10 for me! However, the proportion of price and serving size is a bit disappointing, but it's pretty much expected for a restaurant in Downtown San Jose. The Irish Fries are like loaded fries topped with chopped bacon, cheese, sour cream, and more - a perfect pairing with your alcoholic beverage. Mushroom Curry and Shepherd's Pie are very savory. I can't really decide which dish is my top favorite, but both are definitely worth a try, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

The customer service was a bit slow. We were seated outside, furthest from the entrance, and it took forever for them to come to us. We even tried to get their attention, but it was quite difficult, so we had to go inside and ask for a waiter. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed their food, and the vibe is just perfect for a late-night hangout.

We came here to watch the NFC Championship Game with other Niners fans, and it was a great atmosphere with pretty good food as well! We got the fries and burger, and both were tasty! I'd say this is a nice bar to watch sports or just hang out at in Downtown San Jose.

Was here last night. Maddie provided such good service and made our experience memorable. We will be back to see her for sure. The blueberry cider and corned beef tacos are outstanding. Great vibes, very chill place!

Hanging out with the crew! Great night!
