      We were given great service with warmth from Amethyst, our salesperson, and James, the sales manager. We went in not fully committed to buying a vehicle but finding out a bit about the available new and used cars and tax credits helped to make the sale. We were treated very well and are happy with our purchase of a 2021 Chevy bolt.

      Wonderful experience with Oakland Chevy servicing my Bolt EV. I came in to get the battery pack replaced, and it was done sooner than I expected, especially given how busy this service center is. I was able to get a rental car while the battery was being shipped and installed, at no cost to me. When I came in shortly after to have a tire replaced because of a bubble in the sidewall, Chevy efficiently took care of my vehicle again.

      It is true that it is difficult to call a number to speak with someone for service updates. But the texting service works. Diana is the best service advisor!

      I brought my car here for service on a Monday and was promised the repair would be completed by Wednesday. It wasn't completed until a week later than the promised date -- a week from Tuesday, 8 days after dropping it off. I was never offered an explanation for the delay or even an apology. When I tried to call the dealership to ask for a status update, it was impossible to reach a human; every time, the call was answered by a recording saying that they're busy helping other customers (given how many times I called, this is unlikely) and offering to text me back. The texting system was unresponsive as well. I still have no explanation for why they didn't just tell me to bring the car back in a week when they would be able to perform the repair.

      On the two occasions when I was able to reach somebody, they told me on Wednesday that the car would be ready on Thursday, and on Saturday that it would be ready on Monday. Lies, in both cases.

      This is an unprofessional business and if I need service again, I'd rather drive 30 miles to the next dealership than come back.

      Worst dealership in the entire Bay Area. No customer service and generally I'll
      Ill will to the customer.
      . Why would it take five hours for cash deal. These people are the worst. The GM attempted to bribe me with some stupid mats. I called General Motors and let them know. Shove your mats were it does not Shine.

      I went to the dealer ship to buy a car for my daughter and we meet with shabono or shavana or something and she didn't not know anything about the car and then we got to the price we meet with her drunk sales manger the guy smelled like alcohol and smoke it's disgusting the smell oh is breath where fooling this shouldn't not be in the car business the drunken sale's manger Bruce it's shame that the owner or the how ever hired him did not know that they hired a drunk sales manger don't buy ur car from this place the drunken manger will raise ur rates and terms and price the drunken manger

      Had a great experience buying my first electric vehicle here. They had several models available to consider, staff were friendly and helpful without being aggressive. I worked with Shabana - she was very helpful. We had a little back-and-forth in negotiations (not too much!!) with the manager but ultimately I felt like I got the car for a fair price.

      We had a bad experience at the Oakland Chevrolet!

      Our day started with a very disappointing, even unsettling, visit to the Oakland Chevrolet dealership. The salespeople there were uninterested in engaging with us or answering our questions. During the test drive, we were simply handed the keys and left alone. Upon our return, we were asked if we were ready to buy immediately, and if not, the salesperson would not discuss pricing. We left feeling disrespected and puzzled; the intent of our visit was to gain a better understanding of the vehicle and pricing options.

      Seeking a better experience, we drove to Concord Chevrolet that same day. What a contrast! Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by an enthusiastic salesperson. We expressed our interest in the Bolt 2LT, and he promptly reviewed the available inventory. Within minutes, we were on a test drive with the rep who's in-depth knowledge of the car was impressive; he showcased all the features as we drove and thoroughly answered our questions. The outstanding experience made our decision easy. Though much further from home, we were confident that purchasing from Concord Chevrolet was the right choice. We completed the paperwork and drove home that day in our brand new EV.

      Nadar was a pleasure to work with. He went "above and beyond" to help me purchase of a new Bolt EUV. As one example of his commitment to quality service, Nadar sat with me for over an hour as I worked with OnStar to get my new car connected to the My Chevrolet app.
      I reduced my rating to 4 stars only because of two minor negatives in my experience buying a car from Oakland Chevrolet:
      1) They apparently add LoJack to every new car purchase, adding $1,000+ to the cost.
      2) The car was still dirty when it was delivered to me, and had to be recleaned two times.
      Otherwise, everything was great.

      Overall a good buying experience. Getting the vehicle I purchased ready for me to take home took longer than expected, but everything was perfect and they even filled the fuel tank.
      My only complaint was that my vehicle was left in transport mode and on the way home I had to stop and youtube how to switch modes. Within minutes, I had the truck in normal mode and was on my way.

      Overall, I would do business with them again.

      I called to request service and they put me on hold for 15 minutes then told me if I hung up they'd call me back. My husband did the same over the same issue. Nobody ever called us. I'll be looking for a different Chevy dealer for service.
