OCD Moving Services

OCD Moving Services has been our go-to movers for the last few years now. They've helped us:
- Move furniture & boxes to across town to an apartment
- Pack and move out of a 1200sq ft apartment to our new home
- Pack up and move furniture from our home to a POD storage unit
- Move our stuff from the POD storage unit back into our home

I've always had a smooth experience communicating and scheduling (and re-scheduling) with Daniel (the owner), and the guys--like John, Aaron, Jake, and others--who've come by to help us move. They're consistently conscientious, good natured, good problem solvers, and professional. They protect & pack furniture well so that everything is intact and in the same condition. Super reliable overall.

We were so lucky to have reached out to Daniel looking for help loading the moving truck, with the plan to move ourselves in a rented truck and storage pod. He quoted a price far more reasonable than the larger moving companies we had reached out to, and absolutely delivered.

Aaron, Marvon, and the rest of the team showed up at our old home, sized up the work, and got right down to it with respect and care of each item they wrapped or box stacked. The team packed the truck incredibly well, with nothing lost or broken even having traveled all the way to Colorado.

We'll definitely be reaching out to Daniel and the OCD Moving team in the future if we ever need to move again!

OCD moving service was great! I moved a 2 BR condo into a storage unit. I worked with Daniel to setup the appointment. John and crew (2) came to do the work on a Sunday morning. They showed up on time at 0800 and they were done around noon. Pricier than I anticipated since the move was only a quarter mile down the road (if that) and I didn't think it would take that long, but they did a good job and they were a good group of guys. I'll definitely consider them for future moves. Thank you OCD.

Summary: Best movers you'll find anywhere. Careful, thoughtful, and truly professional -- I've used them three times and recommend them *without reservation*.

Details: Moving sucks and is stressful and time consuming. I used to get super anxious about moving, but after hiring OCD for the first time, that stress was completely gone: I trust them with all of my possessions and it's SO nice to have that concern completely removed from my moving worries.

I've moved with OCD three times now, and they go way above and beyond across the board:

- good estimate, honest, clear, and detailed about what will happen and how many people it will take
- Diligent, careful, packing--they haven't so much as broken a glass in three moves
- I bought a set of moving stickers and they not only applied them to EVERY box as I requested, but they also wrote high-level info on each box about what was in it (e.g. "pillows" "blankets" "desk cables" "stemware" etc.)
- Showed up on time and well-prepared
- Kind, thoughtful, communicative
- Went way above and beyond to make sure all my stuff was packed carefully, placed in the rooms EXACTLY where I wanted it, and left only after I was happy where everything was
- Professional: they did everything quickly, efficiently, and without complaint. Their job is to move your stuff, and they take it seriously.

If OCD services your area, you should absolutely use them. Accept no substitutes.

Everything went great and the team was awesome!!! Fast, gentle with stuff, nothing broke, which is a miracle! I am used to at least something breaking! Thanks for everything well let you know when the next move is :)

Absolutely 5 stars! OCD just finished moving us out of our 2-bedroom/2-story home. They were easy to schedule with, communicative, friendly, fairly-priced, and efficient. OCD sent three movers; they got here right on time, treated our home carefully, and really knew what they were doing - no problem maneuver our more difficult items. I will use them again any time we need moving services and would recommend them to anyone!

OCD Movers were wonderful to work with. The quote was reasonable, they were communicative about arrival. I moved a grand piano and the crew communicated with both parties. The crew couldn't have been more efficient and pleasant. I will definitely use them in the future if I need them.

Two friendly movers showed up on time. Moved the requested items in great time, and did so without damaging the items or my walls / floors. Very courteous throughout the job, and made sure it was completed just how I wanted it (I wanted the bed set stacked in a certain order in the garage, and they did exactly as requested). No surprises on billing. I will be happy to use them again.

I hired OCD when I moved on July Fourth 2015 from a rental to my new home.

It was Daniel ( the owner ) with 1 helper and his new puppy " Jack" was helping the moving.
Jack-the puppy was in the truck waiting for the movers to finish the job.
I would say it is the easiest move within 7 miles. It took only 2 hours from pick up to drop off, from loading to unloading.
However; the contract is for 3 hours labors. It makes sense and it is very well worth it. Why?? Because all I care is to be able to move in safely and get it done. I have too many things to worry about in the new home and more process to go from there to unboxing and organizing my new home. And I can't afford if I twisted/ broke my arms.

June 2023, I put my house in the market and hired OCD to move me to the rental. It took longer this time as the movers has to individually wrap my utensils, plates, kitchen stuff, leftover food in the refrigerator and even cosmetics. My heart broke as I have to sell my house and I didn't want to pack. I let OCD worked on them and packed them in the boxes.
The crews ( Dustin and his helper ) took great care with my kitchen stuff and patiently working on wrapping them individually with paper wraps. I moved safely to the new rental.

Months later in 2023, I hired OCD for the 3rd time to move to a new home on December 30, 2023. This time the same movers helping ( Dustin and his assistant ). It took a little over 3 hours and it was a lot of work as the house is located in the hill and the truck can't pull to the driveway.
There are narrow stairs inside the house as well. A lot of heavy lifting and you can just bumping into the wall and slipped in the stairs. None of that happened. They are professional movers. OCD makes it easy for me. They will ask which containers go to which rooms and they remember the details. They worked diligently and efficient. Daniel and his staffs are friendly, easy going, and work hard. Let them do the work because you have too much of other stuff to do after the moving done. Be kind to yourself.

Everything went really well with my latest move. It was our 3rd move with OCD in 3 years and I am so happy with the service you provide. The guys who work for OCD all do a great job. I hope never to move again in my life! However I will be sure to recommend OCD to anyone I know who will be moving.
