Ocean Honda of Burlingame

Al's customer service is the main reason I keep coming back to this place since I bought my car from a sister dealership 4 years ago.

Long overdue review. Giving it 1 star b/c I can't give it 0 - worst car buying experience! And the worst customer service! I bought a new '24 Civic from Daniel Pulido. A couple of reasons why I am giving this place 1/5:
1. Bad customer service
2. I was sold a "brand new" car with issues and scratches. When I turned the car to drive it off the lot it had a problem/warnings on the dashboard, see dealer. I told Daniel before leaving and he said it would go away in 10mins. 40 mins later still there, 2 days later still there. I had to take my "brand new" 2024 car to the shop to check out the issues, the car was in the shop for 1 week! Turns out the front camera was all broken.
3. The door panel was all scratched up. Daniel said he would ask his GM about getting this replaced. After weeks of not hearing from Daniel he finally replied and said the part was ordered. 3 months later no word from Daniel or his GM - calls and texts are ignored.
4. Both the finance dept guys gave me such an attitude and were super rude!
5. When I tried going into KBB to check the value of the car the plates that arrived were coming up as a 2013 VW -- how? According to finance and Daniel all is good.

I can go on and on into much more detail but just want to point out the reasons as to why I suggest one should stay away from this place and doing business here. The worst car buying experience. This was the first brand new car I bought and these people robbed me of the experience.

10/10 experience and customer service was great from the minute I got the first call from Vicky to setting up an appointment with Niko. Niko was very professional but also very personable and really got to know what I was looking for and what the best option for me in the long run. He took his time explaining how to get me out of a bad financial decision I made with two previous cars ago (not a Honda). He helped me make a great decision for me and my family. If you are ever looking to go to Honda of Burlingame I suggest you ask for Niko. Everyone there is great but the attention to detail he had was great!

Start to finish, this place was top notch! I plan to come back in 7 years and by my kid his first car here too. I came in with 3 kids needing a mini van. Nikko was the absolute best, the finance team is our people, management is amazing. I couldn't have had a better faster experience anywhere. I am so grateful for Nikko and the team at Ocean Honda. Nikko even texted wish me a happy birthday today, he is funny, friendly, professional and a life long ally

Parts department - just inquiring and needed a small part and the guy was kind of rude for such a short call. I asked for the part # and he wouldn't provide it. I'd called this department many times over the years and they always gave me the part #.
I called another dealership and of course got it from them instead. This has always been my go to dealership for service. Weird.

A very dishonest dealership. They may advertise specials via mail that are false and some employees may impersonate the general manager on site. Don't believe any too good to be true deal they throw at you.

So much regret about making the decision to purchase a car here, if you do the same do yourself a favor and read the contract with a fine tooth comb. What they have you sign may well not be what was discussed previously. I am trying to be nice and leave out the swindlers portion of how I feel. Yes I trusted them and did not go over the contract well enough and that is on me as I trusted they would be honest with me. Honesty is not a thing at this dealership.

Every thing very upset with my treatment there from start to finish lied about having what I wanted said drove 2 hours was sold

This place is the best!!! After buying a car here that lasted 20 years, we expected to just a normal, basic, boring car-shopping experience. Boy, were we surprised.... from the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and treated like family. Our salesman, Niko Loza, was incredibly helpful, kind, patient and hilarious!!! We spent almost 4 hours in the dealership, but the time flew by and soon we were driving away in the car of our dreams! If you ever are looking for a car, make your first stop to Ocean Honda in Burlingame and ask for Niko! You won't be disappointed. :-).

I had an outstanding experience at Honda of Burlingame. The service was exceptionally friendly and fast. The service department was efficient and accommodating. A special shoutout to Lincoln, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of promptly and professionally. Highly recommend this dealership for top-notch service!
