I recently hired OHMS Electric to install a 14-50 outlet in my home, and I couldn't be happier with the service they provided. From start to finish, the team at OHMS Electric was professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable.

Issue:
I originally blew a couple of circuit breakers when I was installing a gfci outlet as I had turned off the incorrect breaker to begin my project. I was then unable to initially reset my breakers, so I found Drew via Yelp.

The following day, I had an appointment with Drew to perform a safety check of outlet and panel, as I had finally been able to reset the tripped breakers.

Drew and an associate came out, right on time, and were able to quickly and efficiently check my outlet and panel. They then answered additional questions and even checked other outlets and the main panel to the house, to address concerns I've had since we bought the house, new.

Ohm's Electric may not be the least expensive out there, but he and his team definitely provide value. I will be calling him again for any future needs.

Very satisfied with the work OHMS did for us. I was in the process of self installing a Smart Doorbell camera when I realized that the voltage wasn't enough to power it and needed to upgrade our transformer. I reached out to OHMS and spoke with Drew who responded quickly and was able to come out very quickly. He was very professional, friendly, and timely with his work!

It was a small job but the results were exactly as expected. After the new transformer was installed, I finished the installation of the Doorbell camera myself and it works great now that it's getting enough power. Drew had offered to install the doorbell camera for us, which we didn't need done, but it's nice to know they can also do this for customers!

Drew was extremely responsive and was able to send someone out the same day, inspect my electrical panel and provide a report indicating any issues or potential fire hazards. His technician Juan was also on time, they communicated when they would be coming, and was in and out in a short time. I tried numerous electrical companies and OHMS was by far the most responsive and reasonable. Highly recommend!!!

Drew and his team were incredible! They fit us in quickly to set up new electrical in our living room for a chandelier we had purchased. Thanks to Yelp, I was able to get in touch with OHMS for a quote to install our Tesla Wall charger. We finally decided to get a Tesla and started looking on Yelp for quotes on wall charger installation, inquired on Amp and gauge of wires they use and fees. OMHS Electric was one of 5 that contacted us right away.

Drew the owner, was easy to communicate with. Communication was all via the Yelp app then all through text due to images given. All easy. No hassle quote. I checked their reviews on Google and as well as their images. They seem to do clean work.

Decided to do it with them and didn't regret it. Didn't ask if they do it with permit. Felt like we didn't needed it like some people did as they had HOA. Really friendly guys according to my husband. Met Drew briefly and was easy to talk to. Was charged $50 more than his text quote given but it was clean decent work. I had 3 of my outlets in bedroom not working and Drew was one of the few who asked me to check the GFCI outlets and reset them. I found one in the bathroom indeed needed a reset, and that fixed the lights.

I called OHMS to get help with some fluorescent lights in our garage. The lights had been flickering even after I changed out the light tubes. After doing some research I found out the ballast was the issue.

I spoke with Morgan who advised me I was better off installing a new LED light, which I had already been thinking about. He explained the negatives of fluorescent lights and how they are being phased out. Morgan provided the cost over the phone and came out the same day.

Before he started, I had some questions and concerns about how it would look like once the old fixture was removed and the new light installed, but he was very patient with me and explained everything properly and made sure I understood exactly what he was doing. He was able to remove the old fixture and install the new one pretty quickly. The LED light looks great and there's much better lighting in my garage now. I really appreciate businesses like OHMS that genuinely care about their work and customers.
