WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE BY THE OWNER

It is a shame that one single bad experience damaging one of my favourite shirts in a very odd way, and the uncalled reaction of the owner, after been a loyal customer for over 15 years wanted me to stop supporting this business.

This was the first time we had to deal with the owner over these years - His employees in the other hand, they were always kind and helpful (Don't understand how they can work under his leadership, lack of tact, and poor manners) - The lack of customer service and empathy by the owner not just amongst us with the situation, but to his employees in front of us was shocking. It is very strange, that asa business owner he doesn't value customers; specially loyal ones that brings not just our own business, but also services for my clients dry cleaning needs.

After writing my previous review, I was contact by the owner. He has since resolved the issue to my satisfaction.

One star for the friendly man who served me when I picked up my dress. That's it. I asked to have the skirt of my dress steamed.
FORTY FOUR DOLLARS.
Give me a flippin' break.

Overcharged! No coat price listed while other garments are on price list.

We were visiting from out of town and we were able to get some items cleaned for a good price and quickly. They were nice and efficient and being from out of town it sure helped finding someone that was eager to help someone travelling. Thanks very much!!

I just had an incredibly unpleasant experience with who I presume to be the manager of this business. I received a garment back that was not cleaned and had damage to it and was charged full price. I had been told when I dropped it off that the delicate part wouldn't be touched. When I pointed this out and the damage, he repeatedly told me, no, no, I was wrong, an employee would never say that and got quite aggressive as I countered that this was precisely what I had been told by his employee when I dropped it off. So much for putting the customer first. It was a truly unpleasant experience and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

*I see now I should have read the reviews for this place as many people have had truly awful experiences with the owner.

Very good service that I have used for years. Excellent results on our furniture covers from a well used vacation rental. Strongly recommended

I took my blazer for cleaning to get out a spot (which they weren't able to do) and the once shiny black buttons came back with a white filmy finish on them. I called the main number and spoke to a man who said to bring it back and they'd take a look; they'd either fix the issue or replace the buttons. A few days later I dropped it off at Obed/Tillicum location and the woman at the desk confirmed they would replace the buttons. A few days later I got a call from the owner who wanted to know what I wanted them to do - he had no idea what to do with my blazer. I explained what his staff told me and he said "No, we don't do that. None of my staff would ever say that because we don't do that. Buttons are not warrantied and therefore we don't replace them if they are ruined by dry cleaning". I protested that his own staff gave me this information/directions otherwise I never would have brought it back, and he said "no, not going to happen".
I told him he has lost my business and that of my friends as well.

One hour dry-cleaning. Found them on the web, pants were $12.20 on their website. Called and asked if they could do my pants by 5 PM (it was 1:30 PM). They checked around and said yes, they could do it if I got them there by 2 PM. I did that and they took my pants then told me there was a surcharge of 4 dollars since they were doing it in 2 hours. I guess I was confused about the "One Hour Cleaners" moniker. I asked about it, stating I should have been informed when I called, for which the owners wife started making excuses like she was doing me a favour by getting me off the phone so I could make it there in time. Beats me how she knew I needed the time since I was 5 minutes away. A few more other excuses and I just walked away. I still needed my pants done, so they made their $4 extra, there was no mention of surcharges on their site. Big mistake since I have at least 6 suites cleaned a month plus extras and their location was perfect for me. From the other reviews, looks like they did me a solid.

SAVE YOUR CLOTHES AND MONEY - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

I have been a long time customer of the business. When they washed my new suit they left damage to the buttons, and when I went to pick it up the staff member noticed, apologized, and offered to fix the issue by replacing the buttons. Sounds fair right??

After leaving the clothing with them for two days to fix the issue the owner proceeded to contact me and tell me it wasn't his responsibility and to read my receipt. He then retracted the offer of his staff member to fix my suit buttons for free.

As I had already paid for the cleaning, I told him my expectation was that he fix the damage and honor the word of his staff member who was actually quite kind (repair costs less than the cleaning). He instead told me it would be $18.00 extra now and he has no interest in what his staff said. I told him I was very disappointed in his customer service to which he responded that I could take my cheap suit and never come back then hung up on me.

I would strongly recommend you NEVER support this company if that is the attitude the owner takes towards his customers.
