      I had a very bad experience with Fiona Chung, the NP at One Medical Palo Alto. I went in for a throat check and she wanted to use a swab to get some culture tissue out from my throat for tests. But she didn't use a tongue depressor, so she made me feel like I was going to throw up several times, and because of that, she wasn't able to get the tissue she wanted and we had to repeat the procedure again and again. Then I reminded her that she should use a tongue depressor. She responded that it was going to make the process more uncomfortable and difficult... But she used it in the end upon my request. Then it really worked and she was able to get the tissue without me feeling uncomfortable. This made her speechless.

      On top of that, I got my test results after the visit and she didn't even write me a message telling me how to interpret the test results. I had to Google the results myself but I wasn't able to find an answer.

      In summary, Fiona is highly unprofessional and inexperienced. She doesn't take her job seriously enough. Please avoid her if you use this clinic.

      The worst customer experience I've ever had. Avoid at all costs. I scheduled my blood work at OneMedical (which was covered by insurance) and then scheduled a follow-up visit to go over the results. I was charged $772 for a 20-minute online appointment (Zoom call) with a nurse practitioner who provided zero insights and just said that the blood work was fine. In any other clinic I've visited before, these types of visits cost less than $100 with a specialized practitioner, not just a nurse! This is simply ridiculous.

      I was on the fence about maintaining my One Medical membership when I moved to Palo Alto. I initially saw Dr. Ganga Nadella and Dr. Rekha Avirah, unfortunately it wasn't a great fit for me.

      My third provider was Dr. Virginia Heese (sometimes working alongside Ashley McEachern). Dr. Heese was a pleasure to work with; she listens well, was courteous, is efficient, and cares about patient health and wellbeing.

      Join at your own risk. I was a member in SF when One Medical just had offices in the city proper. They delivered excellent health care - my Dr was fantastic, they had great nutritionists on staff, and it only took days to see my doctor or get attention! Now, I have to schedule weeks out to see a doctor, longer to see my main doctor. The issue seems to be that they have many more PAs and nurses on staff, way fewer doctors. The doctor to patient ratio is horrible. Also, it takes more than a week sometimes to hear back from my doctor when I send a message re labs. I am probably not going to renew when my current annual membership expires. And having been a member for years, this feels crazy and really sad. The co. can and should do better!

      I've been here a ton of times for consultations !
      Parking can be a tad tricky sometimes as you might not be able to find a spot right next to the clinic based on your time of arrival !

      Love the fact that the staff is so friendly and everyone has taken a ton of precautions for covid over the past year !

      I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Sarah Haney. From the moment I walked into her office, I felt welcomed and cared for. Dr. Haney's warm and compassionate approach put me at ease right away.

      What impressed me the most about Dr. Haney is her deep knowledge and dedication to her field. She stays up to date with the latest advancements and research, which gave me confidence in her expertise. But what truly stood out was her ability to explain complex medical concepts in a way that was easy to understand. She took the time to answer my questions and made me feel an active participant in my own healthcare decisions.

      Dr. Haney goes above and beyond in providing personalized care. I felt she listened to me and took the time to understand my unique circumstances and didn't just focus on the physical aspect of my health. She genuinely cared about my overall well-being and made sure to address any concerns I had, both physically and emotionally.

      If you have an insurance plan or can pay out-of-pocket for One Medical's services, I highly recommend Dr. Sarah Haney to anyone seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable physician. I am grateful to have her as my trusted healthcare provider. Thank you, Dr. Haney!

      I've been a member for a couple years now, after following my doctor over from another practice. At first I was apprehensive about paying a membership fee, but it became worth it after seeing the level of service I received.

      I love the portal that they use to manage your health records and feel like I can get assistance whenever I need to. I also like the flexibility of booking my own appointments and going to different medical offices.

      I'm always on the go and commute around the entire bay some days, so it's nice to know there are several offices that I can go to. Palo Alto is just one of the ones I have stopped off at on my commute.

      When I get sick, I will typically wait it out before going, so when I finally decide to go - I want a same day appointment. That's possible with One Medical. You can call or go online and view appointment times and locations, makes it so easy and the staff is always great.

      In this office, I have seen Ashley McEachern twice over the past year, she is kind and compassionate and takes her time to understand your symptoms. I'm glad to have found someone in the South Bay, when I am away from home.

      Dr. Sally Holland is a great doctor. She is at a the Palo Alto facility. Overall the clinic is great, staff is really friendly and super helpful with zero wait time. They also offer lab work within the clinic. One Medical clinics are newly built and tastefully decorated. Plenty parking available on street.

      My One Medical doctor in LA asked me to have some blood work done while I'm in Palo Alto for grad school so I went to the Palo Alto One Medical. The receptionist was very nice. I was in the lab within minutes. The lab tech was also nice although I didn't like that he didn't open the new needle in front of me. It's my understanding that nurses are supposed to do that so I've become accustomed to it. That freaked me out as he already had the needle in his hand ready to go. Overall nice experience.

      Dr. Sarah Haney is a horrible doctor. She is so passive and least concerned with her patients wellbeing. After blood work comes back she doesn't even bother to follow-up with explanations unless you push for it. Some of my labs were out of range and she didn't even bother to explain or discuss treatment plans again until I pushed for it. She seems to think it's ok for her patients to have constantly elevated results on certain things without even a simple follow-up. She barely spends any time with you during the physical. My employer pays for my membership, but if it was out of pocket, there would be no way that I give a penny to this business. They do not care about thorough, thoughtful patient care. Lab work is convenient so I will be switching to another doctor with hopes of better results. Such a poor poor experience working with her.
