Ontario Airport Parking Lot 5

Great parking lot! Car was fine when I got back from my trip. Shuttles run frequently and the drivers are really nice. Would definitely use again.

Maybe I got lucky but my experience at Ontario Parking Lot 5 was great, both departing and arriving.

It's a big lot so I recommend taking a picture of the location where you parked. That way, when you come back, you can tell the driver where your car is. It will save you a lot of time when you come back for your car. Parking close to a shuttle stop is also a good idea.

I used to use an independent lot just outside the airport but they are no longer in business.

The rate is $13 a day at this lot. Not too bad if you're only gone for a few days.

The pickup area at the airport itself is not well marked at all. It's right next to the rental car shuttle pickup area. Just stand a little to the left of the shuttle stop (facing the street), and you'll be in the right spot.

Both drivers, coming and going were super nice. Almost like having a friend giving me a ride to and from the airport!

So for many months when I'm not using my free shuttle service with my vehicle dealership, I park right across Terminal 4 for $27 a day. I was clueless with the $13 a day at Lot 5! Well, I discovered this much cheaper parking lot with free airport shuttle that run every 20 mins. Come earlier than usual to save time and money! Also, my shuttle driver is a ray of sunshine, radiating such a helpful and positive attitude in the morning! Rock on and thank you!

Recently, Ontario has been using this desolate parking lot on the back 40 of it famous airport to host a fundraiser/drive-in movies. With two big inflatable screens, and a nominal donation, those of us sick of sheltering in place under the perpetual hell that is COVID-19 we're given the opportunity to enjoy a movie, from the comfort of the bed of my truck.

On our last trip here, we enjoyed Napoleon dynamite, with dinner from one of the three or four food trucks parked just to the side of the huge parking lot. While socially distant folks and plenty of masks were the norm, the attitude of the event was light and cheerful. We turned our FM radio in the car to the designated frequency, cranked up the speakers, and had a great time together as a family. Nothing too fancy about it, except maybe it's one of the only drive-in movie theaters I've ever been to that which you can enjoy watching huge planes land just to the right of the movie screens! Actually kind of fun.
Not sure when they're going to do this event again, but if you see it, it's worth enjoying as a family or a couple, especially if you're easy to please and looking for something mellow.

Park at your own risk! We have had two, yes two catalytic converters stolen from this lot. The only response they have to this is they will call the cops so you can get a police report to send to your insurance. This is completely an unsecured lot and the thieves know it. We will never park another car hear again!

Had no issues whatsoever. Got a great spot close to terminal right on street side. Walked about 5 min to get inside terminal.
I won't lie and say I wasn't concerned about my car being out in the open, but it was not touched and felt safe enough to walk back .

I upgraded to 5 star for the reason that it's now take reservations online. But $13.00 daily.

I parked at this lot during Thanksgiving getaway - . All the amenities mentioned in my previous review of 2014 reman the same, except the sign of $9.00 no longer there.

Lot five super easy super affordable and close to Hawaiian airlines terminal definitely would use again. Much more affordable than flying out of LAX and parking vehicle
