Ontario International Airport - ONT

The Ontario airport was a nice little airport. I'd actually never flown out of it before and was pleasantly surprised to see that the day before they had one of the greatest track and field runners, Jackie Joyner-Kersee there to sign books and autographs-- wish ai was there for that!

But overall the airport was pretty straightforward, it's not a long walk at all from the front to security and TSA had no one waiting so Precheck was a breeze.

We flew out of Southwest and our gate had a Chick-fila that wasn't terribly busy, but had a steady stream of customers at 7am. There was also another full sit down restaurant across the way from chick-fila.

I ventured to some restrooms that were kind of far, but sooo clean. They smelled like vanilla when I walked in!

Overall, I'd recommend this airport!

Busy, busy, busy, on a summer Saturday morning! People all over the airport, but I have to admit, TSA really got us through - my son in a wheelchair and all!

Had an early lunch at the Chick-fila-A and was impressed!

Southwest agents were a bit stressed with all of the customers, but all in all it was easy and simple, clean, and an easy process.

ONT - This airport has it together!

Heading home was a breeze thanks to the incredible folks at clear and TSA!

I was greeted with kindness and escorted to the TSA.

TSA was kind and even humorous about my 6'1" 12-year old.

They have truly streamlined the process for frequent flyers. TSA pre-check typically takes less than 8 minutes from the time you walk in the door until you're at your gate.

They have increased their food offerings, tailoring it to a fast bite and to-go options.

The new lounge has many options and a great spot to hangout and get some work done before a flight.

Staff is always kind and helpful.

The constant rotation of staff cleaning keeps this airport pretty neat.

I've been flying through Ontario International Airport (ONT) for a while now, and I couldn't be happier with my experiences here. One of the best updates is that China Airlines has resumed its international flights to Taiwan, Japan and the Philippines, making my travel plans much more convenient.

I just recently traveled in March of this year and found ONT to be a great alternative to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). It's closer for me, and significantly less crowded, which makes the whole process smoother and less stressful. The airport is usually well-maintained and clean, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

In terms of cost, flights from ONT are about the same or slightly higher as flying from LAX, but with the added convenience and reduced hassle, it's definitely worth it. From now on, I'll be choosing ONT whenever I'm heading to Taiwan or the Philippines.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a more relaxed and efficient airport experience!

I definitely prefer flying out of ONT vs LAX. The airport is less busy and/or crowded. The only thing is that the flights are limited and can be at a higher cost for certain flights. They have a decent selection of shops and food. The parking is cheaper here compared to LAX.

Great airport. Small but sufficient. Little to no traffic.TSA staff were very kind and friendly and super helpful as to what's needed before entering into the lanes for checking in. The boarding gates were super close and boarding was convenient and quick. The bathrooms were squeaky clean. I will definitely be flying out of Ontario again.

Really nice airport 90% less crowded than LAX. It's about a 40 minute drive from my home without traffic but 1 hour with traffic.
Hint: Don't use GPS it'll make you get lost my stupid GPS made me circle around twice.
Picking and dropping off people is a breeze.

Traveling between Hawaii and Southern California...

This was the first time I've used the Ontario International Airport (ONT).

I didn't even know where Ontario, California was. I just had to book this flight on Hawaiian Airlines because the flight to Long Beach Airport was full.

The Rental Car Facility is about 0.6 miles away from the Ontario International Airport. There's a free shuttle that goes between Terminal 2, Terminal 4, Parking Lot 6, and the Rental Car Facility. The good thing about this Rental Car Facility is that it doesn't close as early as the Rental Car Center at Long Beach Airport.

Costco Gasoline in Rancho Cucamonga is about 2 miles from the Rental Car Center. It opens at 5:30am on weekdays and 6am on weekends.

Overall, this airport is clean, modern, and has less traffic than LAX, Long Beach, and Tom Bradley International Airport.

I think I will be switching to ONT when I go to Los Angeles from now on.

The quickest airport I've ever been through. For it to be international, as well just blows my mind!
