Took a free workout class here. The front desk and coach were very welcoming and thorough with it being my first class. They were very knowledgable on the workout and answered all my questions, asked about my goals, health, modifications etc. This was a great experience!

This place got me through the pandemic. Always an efficient workout set to upbeat music that will challenge you to push yourself. It's a nice mix of cardio and strength. The environment feels extremely inclusive with people from all different backgrounds and fitness levels and lots of options to modify. I will say, some coaches are definitely more motivating and engaged than others. Joey is my favorite and always brings the high energy and encouragement. I also love Ashley. They have classes from early morning all the way through the evening so regardless of your work/life schedule there's probably going to be a time that works well for you to factor a workout into your day which I really appreciate.

I'm a big believer in Orange Theory. I started about four years ago at the gym in Santa Rosa and now attend the gym in Petaluma.

The workouts are interval trainings and I love that through the entire workout the instructors are right there to give feedback, offer modifications and make sure you're getting the most of your workout.

The heart rate monitoring has really helped me push myself and check my brain with my bodies reality. I constantly find myself pushing myself so much harder than I ever would working out solo.

Yes people complain it's expensive, but new class packages and options really can work for most budgets. Plus the first class is free so there's no harm in trying. This is the ONLY gym I've ever attended consistently.

Great studio with fun classes and a supportive group of fellow gym-goers. I appreciate the variation in the classes and helpful coaches that are always happy to offer modifications to an exercise to help protect us (e.g., post-shoulder injury in my case). My dear friend from college got me to come back to the gym post-COVID and I'm grateful for her good influence. Thanks, Lisa!!

Location was awesome in working with my previous studio to transfer my account. Although I didn't keep my low rate from a refer and save type thing they gave me 10% off their base price as a compromise. The studio manager was probably the nicest I've met in all the ones I've gone to. She reached out prior to my arrival and made contact with me the first time I was in the studio to welcome me to the area and studio. I've only gone to a few classes at this studio but found it to be similar to others. It's very clean and has lots of lockers/cubbies for storing personal items. The desk staff has also been very nice and friendly, chatting with me about a multitude of items over my waits for class.

I started OrangeTheory back when they first opened this location but fell out of the habit of working out. Back in March there was an offer to come back at my original weight and I knew I needed something to get back into healthy habits.

Absolutely no regrets!! I love the staff, the coaches and it is a great workout! From what I can tell they have handled the cleaning and health protocols well. The app works great for booking classes and keeping track of other workouts at home.

Definitely recommend for a great group workout!!

Great workouts, clean facility. Very friendly staff and amazing instructors. Wish I could download their playlists or have the option to purchase.
I do wish that they offered more weekend class options. The last classes offered on Fri/Sat/Sun stop at 12pm and book up well in advance.
Also would be great if you could see the floor workout offered for each class. Example if you book a class one day that was heavy lower body it would be great to know if the next day class featured upper body. I often do not go back to back as I am sore from each workout- but if I knew I was working out a different muscle group it wouldn't be an issue.
Other than that the workout is great.

Once a Loyal member, never going back! Terrible experience with Stephanie. Orange theory is excellent until you try to cancel your account. Then they no longer treat you like a person.

I was a loyal and enthusiastic member of orange theory throughout 2020. Even though my business was closed during covid and I was unemployed I chose to carve out the financial expense for orange theory because health and wellness is essential and I loved their business.

When it came down to needing to cancel, I called and they said I needed to go in in person. I went in person and they said I needed to e-mail. I e-mailed and then I received a message from Stephanie with a negotiation to freeze.....

The next conversation was my second attempt at simply canceling. I just wanted to cancel. She asked me why I don't want to freeze. I told her I was back to work, going to be gone most of the summer and I'm choosing yoga now.

She further tried to reach out in this endless game of phone tag now extending into April when my first attempt was in March...She's asking me my exact travel dates etc...because they can freeze.

I gave her my ravel dates and agreed to the freeze.

I'm sure you can guess what happens next. My card got charged.

I called and to let them know my card was charged. Stephanie argued with me saying I never responded to her...I actually responded multiple times and told her twice that I just want to cancel?? This weird back and forth started in March...I forwarded her the email where I clearly yes "yes freeze my account"

I said to her "it shouldn't be this complicated" Her response was "I'm sorry this was complicated for you." I have the e-Mail...

Communication should have never extended past the second time I voiced that I simply want to cancel. Stephanie refusing to give me a refund on the terms of me requesting to cancel may 13. when my INITIAL request was in person in March, then agin in April, and again...in April. Then finally agreeing to a freeze.

Apparently me saying "yes freeze my account" wasn't enough confirmation and she needed me to say it again responding to another email at a later date of her asking me AGAIN if she can freeze it just for two months. never got that email, I just assumed my agreeing was the end.

Several phone calls, several emails and in store visits and it was clear? Way to go Stephanie.

I recently joined Petaluma Orangetheory and have enjoyed each and every class and coaches. The times work great for my schedule and the facility is always clean. Coaches actually 'coach' and the staff are always friendly. Wish I joined earlier.
Hope this review helps someone join.

It's like having your very own stellar personal trainer pushing you but with the upbeat, energizing motivation of other people around you - yet you're only competing against yourself! This is my workout dream come true!

I've always been kind of a 'solo' style exerciser. In my four decades on earth, I've been an avid runner along with weight training, yoga practice and indoor cycling, all of them the sort of exercise training that allow me to get into my own headspace, and go at my own pace, etc. Well, OTF allows me to do that headspace thing that I love while also lighting a hella fire under my butt to PUSH, to actually go ALL OUT. I absolutely love that!

I had a personal trainer for over a year. I worked out with her twice a week in San Francisco until I moved up to Petaluma in 2017 and it just became too challenging to meet. I loved having that one on one training but I can honestly say I love OTF just as much. And the cost difference is insane. If you've always wanted a personal trainer but the cost keeps you from it, there is no better workout than OTF to give you that same 'You can do it! Give it all you got! That's what you're here for!' vibe at a totally affordable cost.

      Go for it!
