he meal is not terrible, the service is pleasant, and the space is cozy, but I ordered a burger and received two pieces of fried bread and a chunk of meat with no veggies; it's mislabeled. The food is decent, but this is not what I expected when ordering a burger.

We have been coming here for a few years now. Food is always good and service is great.

It was a busy night so we waited a good 30 min to be seated but this restaurant is usually busy so you'll mostly like have to wait for seating. Go to the bar section and get yourself a cocktail while you wait.

Today our waitress Holly went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. She was attentive, friendly and gave us a few good recommendations on drinks and add-ons to our meal.

Our usual appetizers are the fried calamari and iceberg wedge salad with a side of candied walnuts.

For dinner this time around I had the Linguine and Clam Pasta with Crab added. We also ordered the New York Steak with a side of Broccoli and mushrooms and onions.

My usual dinner is either the red wine braised short ribs, lamb chops or the roasted prime rib. I'll be adding the Linguine and clam pasta to the list of dishes I like.

For dessert we always go for the Warm Butter Cake that is always yummy.

Overall we had a delicious dinner and a great experience thanks to Holly. We will definitely be back and ask to be seated in Holly's section next time.

Let me start with the safety of serving utensils. One of my family members was being served their food along with the steak knife and the server dropped it almost causing harm which I would've appreciated an apology for not being careful but didn't receive. Some lack of awareness just odd from a higher end restaurant.

I came here for my birthday dinner. My reservation was for a party of seven. The service was okay. My experience was average nothing spectacular. Got a greeting from the staff at the end. My water wasn't really being refilled and I had a party of decent size so I would think I'd get more attention. I was trying to get them to close the door since I had the glare of the sun from the reflection coming into my eyes while I was eating but it seemed like my request was ignored. Just little things that led to my whole experience not being up to par. The food was not bad just the wait was little longer than I expected. I came here previously for my birthday last year and it was better than this visit. I am surprised everything wasn't consistent. The ambiance was very loud too so it decreased my experience. Maybe my expectations were too high for this visit better to set your bar low when coming here.

      Updated review

This wasn't our first visit here and certainly not our first birthday celebration here. So, I had high expectations but unfortunately, it wasn't as great as we have had in the past. We were there to celebrate my daughter's birthday which we wanted to make it a special night with her guests. Unfortunately, it missed the mark for us.

We had a 8 pm reservation and it was busy and so, I understood the dinner may be a little delayed. However, when I see tables around us being served first after they got there after us makes me feel a little slighted.

My daughter ordered a medium NY Strip, it was rare but since we waited so long for the entree and was hungry, she didn't want to send it back, the medium rare prime ribs were more rare and chewy (first time with that the prime rib and I convinced her boyfriend to order it as well) and it wasn't enjoyable.

During our wait, we must have sat through about 5 birthdays where the staff came out in a group to sing Happy Birthday. Well, our experience was after dinner, we were offered dessert so a few of us ordered the butter cake, and the waiter brings out the cake we ordered with a candle in it and the waiter had us sing happy birthday rather than the staff like all of the other tables. Honestly, it's not that huge of a deal but I guess we can't help like we were treated a little differently.

So, based on our experience, I just didn't feel like this visit met our expectations on this very special night so I'm certainly disappointed after dropping $500 on dinner.

Original Joe's is an exceptional destination for prime rib, offering one of the finest experiences I've ever had. I visited the restaurant to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, as he's a big fan of this place. Although our experience started off a bit rocky due to a delay in being seated--since our full party had not yet arrived--we encountered a minor issue. Despite our reserved table being empty, the hostess insisted that we wait in the crowded lobby until our entire group was present. While this was somewhat frustrating, it didn't overshadow the rest of the evening.

Once seated, we began with the crab artichoke dip, which was nothing short of outstanding. I also enjoyed an espresso martini that was quite enjoyable. The prime rib, however, truly stole the show. It was perfectly prepared, tender, and paired wonderfully with the mashed potatoes. The restaurant itself boasts a sophisticated atmosphere with a refined fine dining ambiance, making it a perfect setting for a special occasion. Overall, despite the initial hiccup, the meal was excellent, and I am definitely looking forward to returning.

The service was amazing. Came here for a wedding and the servers came out with two flutes of champagne for the couple of the hour. Every bit of food was absolutely scrumptious. I did find that the menu was a little difficult to read in terms of assessing out allergies. For instance, it wasn't marked what was gluten-free or not, and it was a little difficult to tell which cocktails had nut-based alcohols for those allergies. But the staff were relatively astute at answering those questions. We had a table in the back corner, spacious and comfortable for us to all have a nice jovial conversation to celebrate our friends.

Busy restaurant packed with family's at tables and friends at the bar. I made reservations ahead of time for a Saturday and upon arrival parking seemed to be okay but got really shortly after.

After being seated, the bread was served hot with nice quality butter... There was an overwhelming smell inside the restaurant that was very off putting, wet and moldy. After sitting for a while it went away but still bothersome knowing how congested it is inside.

The food was enjoyable but not an experience that would bring me back here. In my pasta there were grains of rocks/sand but I understand with sea shells it's almost impossible to perfectly clean. The house ravioli was probably my favorite dish here, sauce was nicely seasoned but not too overpowering with the tomato taste. My husband had the chicken breaded cutlet, very simple and almost has an underwhelming taste. The greens it was served with was also spoiled, we told the waiter about it and they simply apologized. I was a bit disappointed because for the price point and service they vow to have I was expecting them to bring a new side salad in replacement. The brownie a la mode was great! As for the Sundae, there was nothing special and had a hint of a freezer burn taste.

I would recommend if you're looking to gather with your family for vibes and a setting to be together but not so much for the food. I wish I had a better experience.

I have never dined here before. I've been wanting to try it for months but can never make the reservations on time. My alternative was to order to go.

*it does take a while for the food to be ready (waited 45 min for a to go order)

*lively and loud - if you eat here it is very lively! All diners here seemed like they've been coming for years. Quite the family establishment.

*no reservations at the bar area

Food: I was hungry and had to make it home before hubz went to work.
      * lamb chops - seasoned and cooked to perfection! I'm sure it would have tasted better if we ate at the restaurant
*side of mashed potatoes... but got creamed spinach instead. Creamed spinach was actually well made and not too heavy on the cream
*spicy rigatoni w chicken- ok, wasn't too spicy. Wasn't my favorite.. it needed more seasoning
      *calamari- crispy, seasoned, and delicious

Overall this was a busy place pushing out good food. I'd like to eat at the restaurant one day!

I've been wanting to try any of the Original Joe's and finally got the chance to. It's best to make reservations but we went around 4p and it was busy. We were told that the wait would be 45mins. We went to the bar to grab a drink while we waited.

I know restaurants have been struggling with staffing but it took a long time for someone to get our order & then it took forever for us to get our drinks. I got notification that our table was ready but we were still waiting on our drinks.

The good thing is that we didn't have to wait 45mins for our table, so that was nice; but they told us we would have to be done in 1.5hrs because there was a reservation that they needed that table. That was fine with us.

They bring out sourdough bread and soft butter for you. I ordered the chicken Alfredo fettuccine and it was really tasty. The noodles could've been softer but it was still good. The lasagna was really tasty as well. I love my pastas with a lot of sauce and this place did it just right. Everything was very flavorful & the portions are pretty big. We ended taking half of our meals to go.

Overall, the ambiance is lively and boisterous. The bar area had 4-5 big tv screens to catch the games. I would definitely come back.
