Oscar Landscaping

We hired Oscar Landscaping for a major landscape installation at our residence in Concord. At every stage in the process, Oscar and his crew were professional, responsive and timely: The request for a first meeting, the estimate, final contract negotiation, and the actual project installation. We gave them very specific layout and irrigation plans and they built everything on the plans with a great attention to detail. The crew is very friendly, skilled and experienced. I appreciated that they took the time to update me, and contact me immediately throughout the project, whenever there was a situation or a question for me to review. They installed all of the following for us with great results: retaining wall, backyard paver patio, grading, roof drain burial, drainage trenches in front and back as permeable dry creek beds, ramped paver walkway to front entrance, gravel and steel edge for permeable surfaces in backyard, and an artificial turf area. Our neighbors and family members are always complementing us on the beautiful landscape we now have. I work in the landscape industry for a Bay Area design-build firm, so I had very high standards for the landscape contractor I wanted to hire. Oscar and his crew exceeded all my expectations - I am so glad we hired them for our project and I highly recommend this company.

I moved into a brand new home that only had dirt in the backyard. With 2 dogs, I knew I needed to get the yard done quickly. I received estimates from 4 different companies and from the moment I connected with Oscar, I knew he was the person I wanted to work with. His estimate was fair and I was able to do pavers rather than concrete for the same or even less money! His crew was always on time and respectful. The work was done in the time frame promised. My yard turned out amazing!! It's a beautiful place to relax and entertain. Highly recommend Oscar's Landscaping!

A quote for yard and lawn maintenance came in at 4x one quote, and 12x another quote. Didn't end up using his service.

Oscar did artificial grass, pavers & DG with trees & rocks.
All turned out great with the job, except the grass has waves & can see seams. Not professional. They didn't stretch out. Spoke with him 3 times regarding this
He said he'd add more sand, as of yet he hasn't done it.

Terrible customer service!!!! I booked an appointment and no one came. When I contacted them, they rebook and again no one came! What a waste of time.

We used Oscar Landscaping to revitalize our large backyard with a new sprinkler system, grass, pavers and plants. Oscar was able to take our vision for the backyard and bring it to life.
Oscar and his crew were hard working and very thorough and stayed on schedule. They also cleaned the worksite up daily.
We felt the price Oscar charged was very fair for the work received.
Oscar also did a great job keeping us updated on the work in progress. We highly recommend him for your next project.

I had just recently bought my house and the yard was a disaster. I reviewed multiple offers from contractors who told me the project would need to be piecemeal or say they/I would need additional sub-contractors. I hired Oscar Landscaping because his team could tackle every aspect of the project and they came in with a reasonable estimate. Oscar and his team were timely, professional, and I trusted they could turn my project vision into reality. The goal was to demo the back+side+front yard, install underground solid drainage, replace a fence, and put in pavers (including steps and lights), then install an irrigation system in the backyard. I ended up also adding an outside electrical circuit, and got a professional reference from Oscar on who he recommends.

I loved working with Oscar Landscaping. Oscar himself was accommodating and kept expectations clear throughout the project. The team was respectful and took great care of my property and did an excellent job executing every aspect of the job with a well-defined timeline. I definitely recommend.

We contracted Oscar to replace a fence and install a paver driveway and walkway at our residence. They are so good that we also had Oscar and his team put in a patio and outdoor fireplace. It's all beautiful.

Excellent professional work by Oscar and his team. We had garden lights installed in the backyard and repaired exiting lights that had not been installed originally installed properly.
