Very organized and friendly team at this place.
The staff and bus drivers are excellent.
The trip feels professionally run but still casual and fun.

I can't recommend this service enough! I brought along three friends for a day trip to Hunter. Wasn't quite sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by how convenient, professional, and friendly the staff were. The bus ride to the mountain was super comfortable and the trip itself was well organized. Looking forward to booking more trips next season- 100% worth it, especially if I can avoid having to drive up to the mountains myself.

Extra: free drinks provided at the end of the trip on the ride back to Manhattan

Don't get me wrong, I sincerely wanted to like this company. As a New England girl stuck in New York for the time being, I was beyond excited to find a company that would take me to the New England mountains. Unfortunately, the journey there was terrible. The bus pulled over due to an electrical system failure three times on what was supposed to be a six hour journey. After a four hour stop in Connecticut by the side of the highway and a 30 minute stop at a Hannaford in Maine, we ended up getting to Sunday River at 2:30 AM instead of 8 PM. We were not offered any sort of refund or financial compensation for this experience. I also don't feel great knowing that I traveled hundreds of miles on a defective bus. The staff members were also refusing to offer reimbursement to folks who wanted to take other modes of transportation, such as Uber, to get to the mountain safely and more quickly.
We were late leaving on the way back because a group of people were slow to leave the hotel bar. This was despite many warnings at the bus would leave at 4:30 PM sharp. Of course, since the staff members were among the bar patrons, this was not seen as a problem.
Of course, the skiing was wonderful, but that had nothing to do with Ovrride itself.
I understand that accidents and breakdowns happen and are part of the way things go but when they take so long to get resolved and the company shows minimal regard for the customer experience people get rightfully upset.
I had a wonderful weekend skiing due to the facilities and staff members at Sunday River. However, the parts of my weekend that were facilitated by Ovrride were disappointing because I felt that my time was not valued.

Edit: The bus broke down on the way back, too. This time we got a replacement bus in roughly 2.5 hours. I have no idea why they insisted on using the same bus for the way home if it's so likely to be ineffective. Very poor judgement call.

I use Ovrride all of the time when I am going Snowboarding. I have done the Vermont trips as well as all trips in New York.

The way it works is you meet them at a specific pickup point at a certain time. You can choose Bus Only if you have season Pass, Bus and lift ticket if you have your own gear, Bus/Lift Ticket and Rental if you are new. Depending on the trip, they may stop off at a Station for you to go to the bathroom.

Pre-Covid they had many locations you could book group lessons for, but now I think it is only one or 2 locations.

Once they drop you off at the mountain, you will meet up with them at a certain time in the afternoon once the day is over. It differs by location. They will usually have drinks for you if you want along with some videos they play. I just wish they had non alcoholic drinks for those of us who don't drink.

The staff is usually pretty cool and chilled out, it's also a good way to make friends. I've made a few through here.

Ovrride East always gets me to to the mountains safely. And gets me back home safely.

Been on 3 trips with Ovrride (2 in 2023 and 1 in 2024). All terrific, and exactly as described! Friendly, chill staff. Great, easy way to get out of the city for a day trip. I'll be back again soon!

Ovrride is relative comfortable and convenient for skiing and snowboarding day trips--especially for longer trips from NY--VT where it would be tiring to do the drives back and forth. I've been to Mountain Creek and Killington with the bus service and the best deals are in the rentals and lessons packages. You could bring your own equipment, but the price for the ride itself is a little pricey.

Overall, it's quite casual and the staff are generally great. The bus has mostly been on time for pickups and dropoffs, maybe a delay here or there because of traffic but usually reliable. The bus on my most recently trip could've been a little cleaner though--there were very noticeable crumbs on multiple chairs and parts of the seats that was a little icky. There were a few faults with the bus as well (bathroom stopped working, PA system not working well, chair seat didn't recline, etc) but the staff did their best to accommodate and made rest stops along the way.

There were snow sports movies playing during the ride and back but I personally wanted to just rest since it was very early morning + late night. The screens are sometimes a bit bright so having an eye mask if you have light sensitivity might be worth bringing just in case.. After Killington, some alcoholic beverages and just about 1 non-alcoholic beverage (wish there were more non-alcoholic options!) was given out to everyone along with some small swag. Would definitely look to booking with Ovrride again, hopefully there will be additional improvements made in the near future!

Such great vibes, and so easy! I spontaneously booked and OVRRIDE ski trip. I felt as though it was super reasonably priced and incredibly easy to do. The crew was super friendly, and Aiden was a great lead. 10/10 am doing again

What a deal! Used OvRride for the first time on a trip to Catamount and everything went smoothly. It was really nice not having to worry about getting there or handling the tickets, rentals, and lessons. On top of that, the guides went the extra mile to get us cold drinks for the way back! Highly recommend, the folks that run it are clearly super passionate about skiing, super friendly, and their enthusiasm is infectious. You won't regret it!

Took the bus to Belleayre. Nice, clean bus, safe driver and 2 fantastic guides AKA Ron and Dana. This was my first time going with Ovride, already planning the next one.
