What gluten-free options?
A:
There are plenty of meat and cheese options. In addition, there's a meat and cheese counter a few steps from the restaurant if need be. I hope you enjoy !

This may be a tourist trap, but here you can set yourself free! With plenty of dining, dessert, and drink options and specialty grocery items including produce and protein, there's something for everyone. My little family had a late dinner here with fresh pasta dishes from Ravioli & Co. in the themed food court area. All meals came out within 10 minutes and all were really tasty and filling with a delicious sourdough slice. For dessert, we had good gelato and a cannoli made with cow milk cream from nearby counters. Mangia! Mangia!
NOTES/TIPS:
**On the top floor of the Westfield Mall, but don't hate, escalate! Escalator and elevator avaliable.
**Across the street from the Oculus (WTC stop on the Path).Helpful 22Thanks 4Love this 21Oh no 0 - Adi V.Hicksville, NY01416Aug 14, 2024
This is for the Ravioli & Co. shop, pasta was severely undercooked , which the cooks claimed to be al dente Lol. I've had hundreds of pasta dishes all over the world and I have no doubt that was very undercooked, I mean my friends ravioli felt almost crunchy . On top of that, there was little to no filling in the ravioli.
Taste wise, wouldn't pay over $5 for a dish like this, it wasn't worth. Plus the portion size was very small.
Service: 1/10. 1 for the cashier lady and the manager being nice, -9 for the whispering under their breath and getting annoyed, said we should've asked for it to be cooked more and that it should be known. (Yea I totally knew it would've came uncooked and inedible).
Anyway the cooks weren't the nicest but manager was cool and we got a refund after we went back one bite into the meal.
Ambiance: open cafeteria type setting in eataly- not related to this shop but it's good.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 3, 2024
If you're in the area and looking for some Italian groceries then it's convenient. Located on the third floor of the SE corner of the Westfield shopping complex at the World Trade Center, this Eataly is set up like the little sibling of the location in Flatiron.
Most of the product is the same, they have a butcher shop, dairy, bakery (for both breads and cakes/pastries), a gelateria, sauces and condiments, dried goods, refrigerated and frozen foods, snacks and chocolate, and some home/kitchen goods. Also a cafe and a couple seating areas, and an upstairs restaurant for those who are eating in. There's not as much fresh produce, and fewer in-house eateries incorporated into the store in the same way that the 23rd St location is set up.
Upon entry, the format of the store is laid out in a circular manner following the layout around the central escalator atrium. Checkout is at the entry/exit area. Entry is fully accessible by elevator from the other floors as well. Prices are definitely above your normal grocery store prices, and about 40% more than prices for the same items in the Eataly's in Italy, though makes sense in part given the shipping costs to transport everything here.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - 3555071620Jul 26, 20241 check-in
I stopped by Eataly Downtown's Vino &... for a work happy hour on Thursday after 4 PM. We were a group of 10 and seated pretty quickly at one of the high tops. They also had some nice booths which we wanted to be at but they did not give us the option which is surprising since it was pretty empty.
For a drink, I ordered a SICILLIAN CRUSH which was a fruity mocktail with a strong ginger taste. It was pretty and tasty. However, the ginger was very strong so I would not recommend it if you don't like ginger.
Service throughout the meal was ok. Servers were not around much but they allowed our group there for around 3 hours without rushing us which is always nice.
Our group also shared a ton of happy hour bites:
BRUSCHETTA AL POMODORO: The bread was quite tough and came with anchovies on top. This was not on the menu at all so it was surprising to see. Flavor was good but the tomatoes really could have been dressed up more than just being tossed in some olive oil.
GNOCCO FRITTO: This was the best item we had. The cheese and prosciutto worked so well with the friend dough.
TAGLIERE DI PROSCIUTTO: Similar item to the gnocco fritto, just deconstructed and without cheese. Not as good, since the cheese was an important component for the dish.
GAMBERI: I did not eat any of this but it was just three sad looking blanched shrimps thrown haphazardly on a plate with a dollop of "cocktail" sauce - quite disappointing for $15. They also forgot to bring it to us so it took ages to receive.
BURRATA & POMODORO: Yum! Great burrata and the pizza base was very tasty.
DIAVOLA: Also a nice pizza but I think I prefer the burrata & pomodoro more.
All in all, some items were definitely hit or miss. I don't think I would ever come here intentionally but if I was in the area with a group and looking to relax for a bit, this would be a good option.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 1 - Jul 20, 2024
I do believe I have loved every location of Eataly I've ever visited, and I'm pretty sure this one is my favorite!
Incredibly organized and flow of store just works. Everything is clean and all food is vibrant and fresh. Expensive, but worth it. You get what you pay for after all.
You can find all sorts of Italian (and some non-Italian) goodies, and they are all fantastic. I'll continue to visit and buy some goodies anytime I'm in the area.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 6, 2024
Had dinner at Eataly NYC in the Trade center area on Saturday night with my family. We didn't have reservations but got a table in less than 10 minutes. We went to the Pizza and pasta restaurant; the waiter staff were great! We had two gentlemen help us, unfortunately i don't remember their names (both latino, one had pink hair) but they were friendly and attentive! They suggested drinks and meals that we all loved! From their suggestions we chose some pasta dishes we might have otherwise overlooked and they were delicious. Great meal, good location for families or big groups.

So this location specifically high 3 low 4. I'm not sure what it is, but this location just doesn't hold up to the Las Vegas location. Is it because the nostalgia of their desserts has worn off? Or are the sweets just not prepared as well somehow? I thought all of these locations would be exactly the same really. Somehow this location just didn't do it for me.
Like the Las Vegas location, though, they still had many random Italian items and groceries for sale like chocolates, candies, pasta, and more.
The workers were relatively friendly but some could have been a little more patient to be honest. This spot is definitely ice and clean though.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 21, 20241 check-in
Okay. I used to come here quite frequently to eat their pasta. I recently came here because I discovered these fresh pasta offering that's in a brown to-go container in their SoHo location.
I was around this area, so I came here, but the staff seemed to not be knowledgeable at all.
I asked for the Venchi hazelnut spread and one of the Venchi said they might only have chocolate.
When I asked about the pasta, another staff wasn't aware of them having them and I mentioned I got it at their SoHo location. She advised that location is more "upgraded" and so they have more than them.
I came prepared with ice pack this time around to buy these pasta and so bummed they didn't have them or they probably did but no one knew where they were located.
I ended up leaving without anything and went uptown to their SoHo location.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Celeste M.Miami, FL489059Aug 6, 2024
Delicious & great service. Had a really nice dinner with my family. Served recommended a bottle of rose that wasn't too sweet and we appreciated that. Didn't get a pic of the pistachio panna cotta but that was my fav! Celebrated my grandniece's birthday with a candle which was lovely!

I tried the sandwich place in Eataly and got the turkey sandwich with the onion jam, mozzarella, and lettuce. It was just okay, wouldn't get it again. I also got a 4 pack of small pastries (which was like $10), and they were super mid and expensive. Maybe the pastas are better here to try, but overall just not great.
