Thanks Alex: Safe and quick ride back to San Francisco after the show. Driver was early and texted to let me know he had arrived and proceeded to wait right outside the venue.

It was a five star experience all night long.

I have used this company for about 15 years. Their cars and servive is outstanding, I trust and depend on their flexibility and on-time service.

We had used Pacific Town Car for many years without issues. However, most recently we spoke with "Michael" there to reserve a ride from Marin County to SFO and return, for flights to and from Hawaii. "Michael' pulled our file and confirmed our address and cellphone number and confirmed that their driver would pick us at 6:45 am on the agreed date for a 9:00 am flight.

At exactly 6:45 am on flight day I received a phone call from the driver, asking whether 21st street was our cross street because he couldn't find our address. I asked him where he was, because there is no 21st street here (oof anywhere in Marin as far as I know}. He replied that he was in Oakland, not in Marin County. I then had to get all of our things into our car and head to SFO in rush hour traffic and fog. Fortunately we made the flight, barely. En route I called "Michael" and told him what had happened. He was unapologetic, saying that he hadn't been told by the driver and that the driver must have been confused or been given the wrong address. When I told him to cancel our return pickup since we obviously had our own car at SFO, he just mumbled "yes, I guess I should cancel."

In the past both Pacific's dispatchers and its drivers seems to be Russian, but spoke perfect English, and were excellent in all respects. Neither Michael nor the driver this time were either Russian or remotely alert. I don't know if the company has changed hands, but it certainly has changed its performance. Never again.

Made a reservation on May 26 for June 3. Received a confirmation. On June 3, no driver. So we are running late for our evening event. Inexcusable. It is one thing to provide poor service. It is much worse to provide no service at all.

We have been using Pacific Town Car for over 20 years. We have enjoyed watching them grow and become the successful and fabulous company they are today. They are always on time (or early) and their cars are meticulous and updated continuously. Their rates are more than competitive and their service excellent. We are grateful to PTC for their service and we consider Alex and Julia to be professional friends. We are delighted to use the services of their company whenever we can.

Was able to book a car with a car seat within an hour of pickup - a total savior!!! Quick, easy, professional service with driver who didn't need to constantly look at his phone to get from point a to point b! Would definitely use again.

Max was helpful via e-mail for planning our trip. The driver was early and helped us load luggage. Only downside was I was charged $6 tolls despite travelling in the non-toll direction on the bridge and the vehicle was slightly dirty (there was a baby bottle top sitting in clear view on the floor below me, etc.).

These guys are great - easy to book online, courteous on the phone, and a fleet of new, immaculately clean cars. I mean you could do surgery in these things, although I assume that's frowned upon. The drivers are ideal - safe, polite, efficient, and happy to adjust anything, even very nit picky requests about AC which I generally have. Mine even had a shade set up on the appropriate side given the long ride from San Jose to SF. It's not the kind of service you call when you need a car in 5 minutes, but it's definitely the place to call when you want someone to show up on time in a spotless vehicle and peacefully take you to wherever you're going.

These guys are great. I have been looking for a town car service in san francisco and could not find one which was reliable enough. Whilst the booking process is a bit clunky, the service on the day is great. Pick up at the door was 5 minutes early. Car was immaculate. Driver was clean and well presented. And the drive was smooth.

Price - same as a cab.

Why not I say!?

I've used PTC for at least 20 years, and consider them to be the best. Always prompt, always courteous, always immaculate cars and competitive pricing. Even with messed-up travel plans, Max (the owner) and his crew are unfailingly on top of things, patient and pleasant. How lucky I was to find one of their flyers on my front doorstep years ago!
