Andy's shop is my #1 choice for anything transmission-related ever since he was the only mechanic who wasn't afraid of fixing our old RAV4 with 280k miles on it.
Andy is a knowledgeable, fair and thorough professional. He goes an extra mile in outlining all options and offering very practical advise on keeping not only transmission, but the entire vehicle in best conditions.

Super Honest, very quick service, nice staff! The owner told me when I *didn't* need something fixed which is incredibly helpful and also shows that he cares more about being honest and doing what's right vs selling you something that you don't need.

He rebuild my car's automatic transmission and so far everything is great. He is trustworthy and does a great job. I can definitely agree that all of the earlier 5 star reviews are correct.

I had a vibration in my truck while accelerating, which I assumed had something to do with driveshaft and/or u joints. For some reason though, my mechanic suggested ruling out other causes before looking into those issues (still don't understand why he didn't just put it up on a lift to inspect). One potential cause would be a faulty torque converter, so I reached out to Andy at Pacifica Automatic Transmission. After going for a test drive and ruling out that potential problem, he volunteered to throw it up on the lift to take a look. As it turns out my suspicions were correct, and a faulty u joint was the culprit. Andy could have easily just sent me on my way, but went the extra mile to help me out when he didn't have to.

While I didn't have any actual transmission work done, it's obvious Andy is an honest guy and knows what he's talking about. I will definitely go back if my transmission needs any work (or even just routine fluid change) in the future.

How refreshing to find a shop where integrity still means something. Absolutely the best personal customer service, I was taken care of immediately. Clear honest explanations of what was probably causing my problem... and guess what? It was a quick fix, cost me $16, took less than 30 minutes in and out... What would have happened at a typical shop? I highly recommend Pacifica Transmission. And I was glad to hear they fix more than just transmissions. I had such a good initial experience, I'm almost looking forward to something else going wrong!! (Not really.) They're the best. Check em out.

My c4 transmission was leaking, and Andy went through and solved the problem meticulously. He is honest, knowledgable, and friendly. Customer service above and beyond!

Great service, he knows what he is doing, literally give you the best he has, the best offers he can get, good recommendations...I can't go to another place ...if you need something for your car, he is nice, responding all your questions

I'm giving Andy and this place 5 stars for honesty and integrity. He diagnosed the issue on my Jeep and once he found it was an electrical issue and not a transmission problem, he referred me to an expert, no charge for his time. In today's crazy world, this counts a ton for me. I'll be back when the transmission fails.
