Papé Kenworth

Dropped my brand new 2021 truck off to this location 3 and a half weeks ago for a battery drain warranty work. It's been sitting there and nothing has happened, no update I call every day and get they are short on staff, asked if I can move to a different KW service as it's a brand new 2021 under warranty and they want me to pay for it... I'm loosing money having it sit.

First they charged me $500 for a diagnostic and then $3,000 to fix the truck, than they sent me three change orders for the work in a total of $13,000. When i said no for the last change order, they sent my truck back with out fixing the problem or putting all the parts back that they have removed.
I felt that they were doing "try and error ", not very professional.
I paid close to $8,000 basically for nothing.

As we all know California is adopting Stricter Diesel emission laws. So the company I work is retiring all of there old Diesel Trucks . I have had my previous Work Whip a Freight liner since it was new and it has served me well. My Freight liner was retired at the end of 2011.

The Company I work for is replacing the old fleet of Freight liners with 3 different brands Freight liner, Volvo and Kenworth. The reason that the company didn't go all Freight liner is that they couldn't meet the deadline set . Of all 3 brands ordered 10 are Kenworth T660 .

The Kenworth are the most expensive of the 3 ordered $10,000 more than the other 2.

I was lucky to be assigned a Glacier White 2012 T660 Kenworth as my new Work Whip. Its like driving the Lexus of the Truck world.

I received my new Work Whip with 99 Miles on it . It just turned 3000 Miles and I am quite happy with my new Whip.

Worst Kenworth service dealer you can take your truck to it's way better to take your truck to San Jose or Sacramento KW this guys are slackers and don't know how to work at all bad service took my truck to get serviced , A/c fixed and fix a leak I had , and also my fuel gauge didn't work ,truck was there for over 2 weeks came to pick it up paid $5000 for the the repairs and labor came back to my Yard and realized my Fuel tank was hanging by 1 bolt and then my transmission was leaking and then I had a big Coolant leak that my truck never had then my fuel gauge still didn't work had to take my truck back 3 times for stuff they forgot to install or put back I highly recommend not to go to this Kenworth dealer not the first time they have made one of my trucks worse but this is the last time they get my business.

Roy is a kick ass technician. He goes above and beyond and exceeds my expectations. I appreciate his attention to detail and his helpful attitude. I know if Roy's working on it it will be done right!

Not happy with this company. DON'T be their next victim.
I took my T2000 in to have a clutch issue looked at. Also, my electronic dash was not working and two knobs were missing off my dash. I got an estimate for $4,492 for a new clutch, which I probably could live with. However my estimate just to diagnose the dash was near $900. I decided to contact Twin Oaks Garage In Penngrove. Their estimate for a new clutch was $2,200, and they reasonably suggested that they would charge one hour to troubleshoot the dash, and simply order a new one and install it if it went beyond that.
When I went to Norcal kenworth to retrieve my truck, i was given a "discounted" bill of $556 which included $400.20 charge to "test for power at the dash and oem connector" and load test the batteries
I have a pretty solid mechanical background, and I now know this company is a rip off.

Norcal Kenworth is as good as it gets. Talk to Dave if you need a new truck! The service department is honest and they get 'er done.
