I just saw that my unreserved monthly parking fee is going up from $32.50 to $72.50.

This huge jump is obviously due to the construction at BART and that's price gouging, plain and simple. Because how does that increase benefit the customer? It's so hard to park there, I often have to wedge myself in spots and hope that my car is not scraped up in the process. And if don't get to the car before 10PM, it's downright scary to walk along those unlit pathways to enter the other side of the building. So, my money is not going towards more spots, longer hours or better security. But guess what - I'm stuck because there's very little choices. And parking at BART before 7AM to get a spot in the overfill lot is not an option.

The company seems well aware of trends, too, because I used to pay the early bird special at Parking Concepts a few days a week (to avoid missing train/being late for work). Then, they seemed to realize lots of people were doing the same because of the lack of BART parking (Bank of America people used to park in lots when it was still free) and suddenly it went up to $5 for visitors to park per day. That's when I did the math and decided to do the monthly pass with them.

But now, it's just a crazy jump and again, I don't see any benefit/improvements on my end. Going to try to find something else...

      Updated review

UPDATE: Not only did they increase the annual amount by $540 but they are now taking away the "reserved" spot that I am paying for. Their management never responded to my email about their price gouging. Parkers please file BBB complaints!

I am a reserved parker and received notification that the rates will be increasing by $45 effective 8/1. To increase rates this much shows that Parking Concepts is a greedy corporation trying to take advantage of parkers due to the Concord Bart Construction. I will be contacting ABC's 7 on your side, Better Business Bureau, City of Concord, Claycord.com and every social networking site to encourage parkers to shout from the rooftops how deplorable Parking Concepts is. In addition to the horrible service and mis-management of the lot, there is no over site or monitoring and reserve parkers pay to have their spots which are parked in by others and the lot fails to manage these violations. Parking Concepts wants to charge premium prices for less than mediocre service.

      Your business practices are disgusting!

This parking garage is only a block off of Clayton Road, near the Concord BART station. They have parking for monthly tenants and also guests who can pay by the hour. Two lanes of guest traffic flow into the garage and you take a ticket as you enter. The first time I pulled in, the ticketing machine on one guest side wasn't working and it took a few minutes for the car behind me to figure out that I had my reverse lights on for a reason. They gave me room to back out, then pulled up themselves to the broken machine instead of following me to the other side. Ha!

Parking rates are really reasonable - $1/hr, and you can pay quickly with your credit card as you exit. Don't lose your ticket. (And perhaps you can ask for validation, depending on where you are going?) Guest parking has a lot of "compact spots" and our Altima is more of a mid-size car, but fits in the little spots pretty nicely as long as the surrounding cars aren't on the line (which they always seem to be).

It's a convenient garage for visiting friends in the Bank of America corporate building, and a short walk to Todos Santos Plaza. The garage itself is really pretty on the outside with green vines decorating one side of the building. The stairs are clean and there are also elevators to move between floors. The doors are automatic so push the big button to walk out of the garage - but do NOT push on the doors themselves. (There are signs to remind you of the auto feature). And don't forget to pay attention to where you are when you park - it's a big garage with many levels.

The parking area is good, but provided service by Guy whose name Kayl was really bad. When I wanted to start service it was difficult to find him because I called three times after this reached him but he said he would give me call. After two days he registered but didn't give me any receipt or confirmation.
When I decided to cancel the service I gave notice by phone and forgot about it. I was confused when I saw after 1 month that money was charged from my account as if for next month.
Employer with name Kayl is not responsible to perform their duties properly.

It's unfortunate that a parking garage takes advantage of long time customers. I paid $25 per month for unreserved parking. They increased it to $30 a year later. This year it jumped to $70 per month! Wow!!! Price gauging because of Bart's construction.

This company increased prices to more than double the amount in less than a year. It appears they don't care at all about regular customers. I guess they don't need to. The spots are tiny and OFTEN I end up climbing in from the passenger side and it's not the other car's fault. Their website (even the "updated" one) still claims to honor a Bart discount rate but when I called them she said no and also the rates are higher than listed now on the site. There have been no improvements made to the facility to justify the price increase and the machines are still often broken, causing traffic jams exiting the garage. I won't park here anymore but there are not a lot of options and they know it.

      First to Review

I know, a review for a parking garage??? But this parking garage is right across the lot at Concord BART, is only $27.95 a month for full in/out privileges and overnight stays and they are wonderful. I recently signed up with them because the BART parking is dodgy at best and my work hours are slightly different than the norm. By the time I get to the BART garage they have switched to the first-come first-served model and I sometimes cannot even find a spot. In addition, at the BART garage you will be towed if you leave your car overnight. Well, at 1575 Grant Garage you are guaranteed a spot, it is almost as close as the BART parking (closer in some cases) and you are not required to ride BART to use it. So if you want to carpool, or go to the farmer's market in Todos Santos, that is fine!

And, even better, if you are going away for a few days then you can park without fear of losing your car to a tow yard. All of those items would be good enough for 4 stars. But the service brings it to a 5 star garage. I picked up my pass after hours because the security is 24 hours there. The guard then walked me around the perimeter to show me all the entrances and exits, where the stairs and elevators are, etc. I can feel good about only driving my car to BART and taking the train to work (there is no bus where I live) and having the care and service be so high, well that warranted 5 stars in my book!

my advise to anyone interested in a monthly space at this grant street garage - take a cab or uber! it will be cheaper and a much more pleasant experience. terrible customer service-avoidance of communications and on top of that a large increase in my monthly rate - from 32.50 to 52.50 in july billing & then doubling again to 97.50 in august and september. i concur with the the other monthly customers who are dumbfounded by the lack of response to customer concerns and the lack of respect for long term customer relations. i realized that concord is on the map now in terms of being wonderfully positioned along the concord corridor, but this business is based on greed. if i could rate this company, parking concepts, zero stars, i would. i rely on yelp ratings but rarely feel compelled to rate a business unless a i feel a business is a stand out - in a positive way. never until now have i written a negative review about a business.
