Came here based on yelp reviews. Easy to make an appointment. They were super punctual. Went for an oil change but they went above and beyond and took care of another little thing at no charge. Very nice people and excellent customer service!

I can't recommend this shop enough! Charlie Sr. and Charlie Jr. are both great and I trust them completely. I'm really glad I found them and have my new go-to shop for any problems.

Charlie and his staff are incredible. Reliable and honest, they care about the work they do and don't push you into work you don't need. I've been taking my car here for many years and they always do a thorough job. Really can't recommend them enough.

Just gotta spread the love for a great family business because Charlie (Jr and Sr, actually) and D. have helped me out of so many jams over the years with two different cars. Very reliable, thorough, personable, communicative and won't gouge you -- they're literally the best mechanics I've ever gone to in Brooklyn!

Used to love this place. Not sure what happened, but they charged me $120 for an oil change with is out of this world. Feel like I've been taken advantage of. Used to think it was a mom and pop good spot, won't be returning to them again. Stay away if you're not trying to get up charged

These guys are great. They're incredibly friendly and helpful. I've been in a few times for various things.

The thing that strikes me most is how honest they are. As an example, the last time I was in I asked them to check the spark plugs to see if they needed to be changed. I'd purchased the car around the 88k mark, and it was now just over 100k. When I went to pickup the car, they let me know that they checked the plugs and it looked as though they'd been changed recently and to check them again in another 10k or 20k miles. It would have been easy enough for them to just change them and tell me they needed it just to make a few bucks, but they clearly value their customer loyalty above all. I dig that, and it'll keep me coming back.

We got a new used car two years ago and have brought it to several mechanics for one thing or another and none of these experiences have been great. Two different friends recommended Parkside for their fix-it chops and trustworthiness and we finally brought it in to get a new battery and a general check up and they were a dream to deal with. So reassuring to know an honest mechanic I can't even tell you!

Available within a few days to check and fix AC. They were friendly and thorough. I'd go back.

I recently purchased a car (Subaru Outback 2014) in New Jersey. The dealer's mechanic did not do a good job of installing one of the new tires and it almost fell off the car when I was on the highway.

A day later, I drop the car off with Dee and instantly felt better, he talked me through the work he was going to do and gave me an accurate estimate.

His team re-installed all 4 tires and replaced the bent lugs on the problem tire. They also performed travel/safety checks to double-check every piece of the car the other mechanic touched.

They are swamped right now with everyone buying cars, but they were able to get me back on the road and feeling more secure about driving the car.

I wish I had just had Dee and his team do ALL of the original work instead of that other mechanic shop, but I'll definitely be coming back with any additional problems (I hope not too many!), regular maintenance, etc.

Thank you Dee and team! I'm glad I was able to wheel my car over to your shop and hope that you have the bandwidth for all of the new BK drivers!

I have to agree with everyone on here. I've been in the neighborhood a long time and wish I had discovered them sooner. Easy to talk to - no nonsense and straight shooters. So excited to find a mechanic I can trust.
