Good hidden gem in the rancho area especially if you are staying at the hotel next door. Fun spot to go eat and have a drink in my opinion! Not the best spot to gamble there is no slot machines or anything like that, just tables

They have good food and good drinks and the price is pretty fair. I would just say sometimes when I go in it takes them a minute to come serve me like they are confused why I'm there. I will say to be a restaurant / bar they really do act awfully confused when I go in there it's a shame because I really like this place actually but it's almost like you need to be a regular for them to treat you better

We've been coming here for years.
Always a great time. We've made long time friends with staff and other regulars. They have a full bar and good food! Breakfast, happy hour and late night snacks. And if you're feeling lucky test your luck at the tables(s) Blackjack, poker, etc..

We didn't know this place existed until maybe a year ago but we hit it up pretty regularly as a bar option in Rancho. We always sit at the bar and the service is usually pretty good. We've had a few cases where we sit on the corner, furthest away from the front entrance, and sometimes feel forgotten. Overall the bar staff is attentive, they have a great happy hour and good drinks. They make a great sangria that's not on the menu and their salads, burgers and tater tots are always on point. Ali is a fantastic bartender. She's friendly, personable and always makes great drinks. We will continue going back here as one of the few options for a full bar and nice ambiance. The one thing to know is that they do NOT serve food on Sun or Mon. The kitchen is closed on those days.

Cheap drinks, friendly bartenders, good food, plus a card room! Nice patio to sit outside in summertime, service is prompt. They also turn on the games if you ask, or there's something special you want to watch they'll change the tvs inside the restaurant for you.

We came here Friday 11/3 around 6pm, bar was busy but the restaurant was empty and we were seated right away.
My colleague and I both ordered the asparagus stir fry and clam chowder.

Asparagus stir fry with beef - my colleague said it was much saltier than the last time.

Asparagus stir fry with shrimp - way too much rice, they used the entire asparagus including the inedible ends, barely any shrimp.

Clam chowder soup had chucks of four on the bottom.

      Service was excellent!

We do not recommend the restaurant.

This is my favorite card room in Sacramento county. Treated good and dealers are friendly. Many different 21 games. Single deck, double deck, and shoe. They also have ultimate Texas hold em. Come on by and win some dough.

I was in Sac for 1 day business trip. I decided to stay in Parkwest Casino area because it was secure multiple hotel area. After dinner I wanted to relax and have a beer. I went to Parkwest Casino which was right in the center of this hub. I found they had a great bar and food. I felt relaxed and I played a little Baccarat and Black Jack. I walked back to my hotel and slept for next business day.

This is the worst casino I have ever been to. The table service is terrible: they have one server names Kimberly who is stretched thin and uninterested even if you get her attention. Their dealers are ok and seem to stay attentive to the game in play. The management is completely arbitrary in their judgement about who plays, who drinks, who is respected. Of Tahoe, Vegas or an Indian casino is within reach, that is a far better experience.

      Disappointing is only the beginning.

I have been to Parkwest casino several times for various events etc. The last couple of times that I was at Parkwest was to hang out with friends as they participated in a dart league.

The casino itself has an interesting set up. It's basically a glorified card room, that also offers a dining area, as well as, a pseudo-sports bar area.

You absolutely can go in and dine in the dining area, or just go in and play cards in the card room, or in this case there is a small side room where there are dartboards for dart league.

They offer a happy hour menu which has some pretty tasty offerings, but the price points really aren't a whole lot different than they are on the main menu. You might save a dollar or so and happy hour items, but it's nothing to rush there for. Which is sad, because the area absolutely could use some cool happy hour places. I will say as a hat tip, that their fried green beans while they are not spectacular, they are pretty decent and have been my go to.

The side room that has the dartboards is a nice little area to hang out in, but generally speaking is reserved for those in dart league. It's once a week for a couple of hours. Anyone is welcome to reserve the area, use the area etc. The way you know that it is for league, is that you are required to bring your own darts etc.

So here's where things get rather tricky... We all showed up for the weekly dart league, and the room was occupied with people that were just pretty much hanging out and drinking etc. I asked one of the waitstaff if it would be possible to politely ask the group to move to another area since this is the only place for the league to play. Easy enough?! This is the only area where the dartboards are located, but food can be had anywhere. She refused to ask them to move, so I asked to speak to the manager. Rude doesn't even begin to cover it. Without even asking me how many people were going to be there he said that the group that was standing there was spending money on food and asked me if we intended on spending the same amount of money or more. I politely explain to him that the area was reserved for the league and that while we would be ordering food there would not be as many of us there eating and drinking because they were there for the league. His response was oh you're here just to play a game. I again politely explained that this was not a game but that this is a league, and eventually the annual tournament is held there. The tournament is filled with people from all over the United States and they literally take over the entire casino both inside and out. It's something that they've been doing for years. He feigned stupidity, and walked away.

We waited for a few minutes and the manager had to walk by the group again, and I asked him how much longer he thought this other group would be occupying the room. He said he had no idea but he had no intention of asking them to move. Again, he brought up money. Almost demanding to know if we had the intention of spending as much money if not more, then the group that was currently in the small area. Our groups expectation was not that people be misplaced, but since this is the only area where the dart boards are, the league doesn't have a lot of options. And here's the kicker, they have a contract with the casino to have the boards there. Like any sport if you will, if you do not compete, then you cannot advance to the final competition. Additionally, it also sets the tone for future activities at this location.

Sadly, this was not the only egregious incident here. The last few times when we have ordered food and drinks, the wait staff has been incredibly rude, unhelpful, and unwilling to bring food and drinks to the area. This is why this is such a rub... People are there to order food and drinks, participate in a league, and yet when we want food we don't get served.

There are plenty of other places in town to have fun at, this just isn't one of them.
