Amazing place to get boba. I went here to get boba and it was amazing. First the employe that was there was so nice, and she made the boba pretty quick. Another thing was the menu had so many options and you could customize your boba however you please. You could pick your sugar level tea and so much more. The boba also tastes amazing! The place is quite small with one table, so I recommend you get your boba to go, but still a great place. Overall I think this is the best place to get boba in Victoria, BC.

Is it Partea or SH91? [Victoria BC]

I'm confused about the Yelp check-in page for this shop. The physical location is named SH91 but they have Partea sign on the window. I thought that it would be same dessert place as the SH91 on Yates Street which is now reportedly closed but this location only offered milk tea, fruit teas and smoothie.

None of the flavors appealed to me but the guy working there suggested I should try the Watermelon slush. Mmkay, I wanted boba with the drink.

The interior is small with one table. While he made my drink I observed the decor of the interior. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos but there's handwriting all over the wall. Maybe you could see from some of the pics others have posted. Some signatures, some drawings in different color Sharpies. Come to think of it even the one table inside has all kinds of handwritten things written on it. It didn't look appealing but that is their decor inside.

After I got my drink we left immediately.

      Review #072 - 2018

After my disappointing dinner at the pho place, I wanted something sweet so I walked around looking for a dessert spot and ended up finding this tea place instead.

I walked in and was immediately greeted by the two young ladies who were busy making a large order of take outs.

Seeing that their fruit tea was super popular, I decided to get the supreme full fruit tea, I think that's what it's called, and it definitely helped me feel better. The drink wasn't overly sweet, but could use a little more tea. Although, the fruits were fresh so that's a plus.

The shop was clean, even though it wasn't too big. There were about 6 bar stools for you to sit on, but since we just ordered it to take on our drive back, it was fine.

Although, it did take about 10 minutes to make one drink, but I was willing to be understanding since they had a bunch of take out orders. I was just a little surprised that the couple that came in after me got their orders before me, since they seemed to know the cashiers, so minus 1 star for that.

      Refreshing and not too sweet

I've been really going back and forth between a 3 and 4 star rating for Partea but I think I'll have to sit on 3 for now (I wish that I could give them a 3.5 since I think they deserve at LEAST 3.5 stars). That being said, my overall experience there was really just A-OK so I'll be writing this at 3 and hopefully going back to try more flavours and up that rating in the future.

I tried their creme brulee tea with my friend and wasn't overly pleased with the taste. The cheese foam was REALLY interesting and quite good and I recommend trying that but personally, I would get a full cheese or fruit tea instead of the brulee. I wasn't too big on the flavour of it, finding it much too rich and heavy for my liking.

The shop, however, I absolutely loved. It is a truly tiny store but the decorations make it seem like a playful hole-in-the-wall, tempting you to come in and escape reality for a time. With a bright chalk wall, unicorn decorations and puffy floating cloud lights, it feels like someone extracted the daydream out of their head and turned it into a Bubble Tea shop that makes really beautiful-looking drinks (which I also want to mention!). Every drink that you get here looks like it should have its own social media page because they are all done so artistically and come out looking gorgeous.

Like I said before, I'll come back and hopefully be able to update my review to give another star but for now, my recommendation is to try them out and avoid the brulee tea.

I would have given them 4 stars but I had to knock them down one star 'cause they ran out of milk for their milkteas which meant that half or more than half the menu was unavailable. What was weird was that they had brown sugar lava which is made with milk...

Anyways, I got the drink I wanted so I was fine. It seemed like everyone else that followed wanted milktea had to get the lava or regular fruit teas they offered.

Onto the bubble tea; I got the caramel brown sugar lava (4/5) which was really good. It's a bit on the sweet side. I should have asked if they could adjust the sweetness level. What's unique about this drink is that it's got a creme brulee top that adds a bit of a sweetness and crunch to the drink. Also it's so instagrammable. I like the milk/cream they used. It's thick but not too thick. The pearls had the right amount of chew to it.

Giving 5 stars for a unique taste and experience in a cute little shop run by friendly folks.

Cheese tea is not something you'd probably choose to sip on. I decided I wanted to try it even if I only had a taste and threw it out, just to have had the experience. Got warm jasmine tea with boba and the cheese foam on top. Honestly...it was delicious! I would skip the boba next time. What a surprise though! Warm, creamy, sweet, only very mildly salty/savory.

I will actually get this again. My 12 yr old thought it was disgusting, but I like oysters and other weird stuff so what can I say?

Good milk tea, and cute interior design! I came to this little shop after walking in downtown Victoria, and was pleasantly surprised!

I literally just got a drink from this place about half an hour ago and took the drink with me to go. I was enjoying my drink until I took another sip and felt something rough in my lips. I knew it wasn't a pearl. I quickly spat it out onto my hand and was horrified at what I discovered! There's a fucking bug/bee/fly whatever in my drink!!! I feel so violated! You couldn't pay me to go back to this place ever again!!! I should get a refund if anything! Disgusting and unsanitary!!!!! If I can give you a zero rating I would but here's an undeserved 1 star!

This is what was in my drink
