      We have a refrigerator that was having a few issues and through Whirlpool (maker), /D&G (service contract), then the actual tech from Payless, we scheduled a time (next day - amazing). Crystal/Payless called to confirm our appointment time, then called to tell us the tech would be at our home in 20-30 minutes. William (tech) showed up, was friendly, professional, found and fixed all 3 issues in less-than 30-minutes. We initially LOVED this fridge, were not happy with a few things that were not working well or right...William fixed them all and made a suggestion about how to get more storage space in the freezer.

      From this one interaction, I would highly recommend William and Payless Appliance.

      Daniel came out to inspect a dryer we were having trouble with. The cost of the inspection (no work performed) was $135.

      Daniel was friendly and seemed knowledgeable.

      Daniel was on-time or maybe a couple minutes late, but it was no big deal.

      Quoted prices were high, but everything is expensive these days I suppose

      I agree with so many of the negative reviews of Payless Appliance Repair on Yelp.

      The Payless Appliance scheduler, Crystal, was very rude to both my husband and me on separate occasions. When I expressed this to their lead tech, Daniel, and said as a service-industry business owner myself, I am simply giving feedback so they would know about our experiences. Daniel was very defensive and said that he had never heard that before, and it was hard to believe. Yet, reading many of these reviews, it appears to happen quite often.

      Nonetheless, Payless was at our house on three separate occasions for a single washer repair last month. After the third time, it appeared as though the issue had been resolved. Payless claimed to have replaced ALL working parts.

      Now, a month later, we are having the same issue again. Payless is now refusing to come back out. Their first reason was that there is nothing more they can do. I then spoke to an outside service company who said that Payless is an authorized Whirlpool repair facility and really needs to be the ones to finish their repairs since they have been with this since the beginning and can not just throw their hands in the air leaving a customer hanging.

      When I called Whirlpool and asked that they dispatch Payless as advised, they called Payless to facilitate scheduling. Payless refused for the second time. Now, they threw out lies to Whirlpool saying that I somehow refused a part repair and threatened them with a lawsuit. That couldn't even happen since I haven't spoken to anyone at Payless directly since they supposedly fixed my machine last month - all communication has been directly with Whirlpool since my machine is still under warranty. Not sure if they are incompetent to actual repair the appliance and don't want to come back out because they will be held accountable by Whirlpool or what is going on....

      Either way, take this as a lesson to just begin your repair elsewhere. I am sure for a simple fix, they "may" be fine to use... but why take the chance when there are a multitude of other repair facilities from which to choose.

      Daniel was sent over to diagnose our issue. Professional, courteous, efficient ,and friendly. He ordered the parts,and once received, came right away to replace. Prior to leaving, Daniel checked to make sure everything worked properly. Don't believe the fake negative reviews, as we had no issue with phone calls,response time,and repair. We appreciate Daniel's competence and skillful expertise.
      We would recommend Payless for your appliance needs.

      I can't say enough positive things about my encounter with Payless Appliance repair. My ice maker went out and I had 2 people here from other companies trying to replace it. They spent most of their time on their phone trying to understand the replacement process. Needless to I did not allow them to do the repairs. One person requested I purchase the ice maker and then he would return to install. When I got the ice maker, I notified him but never heard from him again. Payless is a totally different experience. I was referred to Payless by the KitchenAid help site. I called, scheduled and appointment for the next day. Technician, William arrived on time with all the appropriate identification needed to confirm he was from Payless. Once he looked at the problem, he pulled out his drill, wired the new ice maker in place and had it working within 20 minutes without ever looking at his phone. William is experienced, friendly and the cost was less than the other 2 service companies charged. Most of all I found William to be a great guy. I would this company recommend highly.

      I had service done on a dryer by Payless Appliance on 4/12/24 . The dryer was making a loud squeaky sound so I called Whirlpool extended service plan. They sent Payless and Daniel arrived on time , had parts ready was very knowledgeable with great customer service skills and had my dryer repaired in less than 30 minutes.

      Set up an appointment for the next day for our dishwasher and they were right on time. Daniel and Alex were professional and friendly. Diagnosed the issue very quickly and provided a solution. Will definitely call them back next time I have an issue with an appliance.

      I have mixed reviews about this place. Overall, they are very professional and seems very knowledgeable.

      The person who picks up the phone to do the scheduling is very polite. With my experiences with other Appliance company, sometimes, they don't even answer their phone. So I am glad this one at least answers their phone and is responsive and even returns phone calls, so very glad about that.

      Daniel, the technician, came out to look at our dishwasher. He seems knowledgeable and honest. He was willing to give us in his insight. He was here at the home for awhile to troubleshoot the issue and tried everything. Although he seemed knowledgeable, he still couldn't figure out the issue. This is an in-service warranty call as our dishwasher is BRAND new and only been through 2 cycles when we noticed the leak.

      So now this is where I have mixed feelings - I don't know if it's Whirlpool that's giving the run down or if the technician "lied" to Whirlpool, because I am in a situation of he said, she said between the Payless and Whirlpool. I still do not have a working dishwasher. Daniel tells me he relayed everything he told me to Whirlpool and they should have it in the notes but Whirlpool advises me of something completely differently. Unfortunately, in this area, there's only 2 service providers for Whirlpool and the other one is not even available so I cannot get anyone else to come out.

      Payless Appliance was the service vendor referred to us by the 3rd party Airport Appliance contracted with.

      the 3rd party scheduled an appointment for the 29th. Payless called, saying they would be here 12-4 in the afternoon on the 24th.

      serviceman showed up at 10:30. checked our electric range, determined some heating elements were not working. in a few weeks, he will be back to repair it. in & out in about 15 minutes. will update as needed.
