Stopped in today (Wednesday) for lunch. Ordered from the lunch specials menu.

I ordered the general chicken with fried rice and my friend got the Mongolian beef with chow mein.

Soon after the order was taken our hot and sour soup came. It was a small bowl but quite flavorful. It was excellent.

Then the orders arrived. The portions were huge but the food was quite tasty.

My general chicken was quite fresh with good quality meat and piping hot. The fried rice was excellent too. But there was so much I couldn't eat it all. So much!

My friend got the Mongolian beef. Which I tasted and I thought it was excellent too.

Service was very friendly and attentive enough. They check on us and refilled waters and stuff. I really did feel like service was important there.

      I recommend whole heartedly. Yum.

I'm afraid this not going to be a good one.
First, the good. Staff is friendly. Prices are not as high as some Chinese places. Portions are generous. (Especially if you like noodles)

THE FOOD: Aside from all the reviews and plaques on the wall, the kung pao chicken had no flavor, no spice, and no other veggies save for zucchini.

My friends' broccoli beef also had no flavor. Even after adding generous amounts of old soy sauce, the flavor still lacked.

I'm sorry to say that for a guy who eats twice as much as everyone else, regardless, my friend and I left practically full plates of food at the restaurant. Lesson learned. It only cost $15 and $17 respectively.

Thanks for your comment and may I ask what sort of flavor are you looking for in a Kung Pao Chicken and Broccoli beef(which mostly made out of a few type of soy sauce)?

Anther great dinner. We did a To-Go order as we had a dog with us and they don't have any outdoor dining. The phone wasn't working so we went in person to place the order and wait for it. They are pretty quick with the orders so the wait wasn't bad. About 15 minutes at most 20 minutes depending on how many people are in-front of you.

They have a private lot so there is always plenty of parking. They are in a strip mall next to little Caesars.

Tonight we ordered sweet and sour pork dinner plate with fried rice and egg drop soup, broccoli beef with chow mein and egg foo young, veggie. All was really good. My favorite today was the sweet and sour pork. I don't know the last time I had it so this was a real treat. The portion sizes are huge. We fed 3 adults and only ate half the food. There are plenty of leftovers for dinner tomorrow. If you haven't been here before it's a must try.

What a hidden gem! I walked in on a 105° day in Sacramento and was greeted by a gentleman with the biggest smile on his face. I was seated and my drink order was taken within seconds.

I ordered the mongolian beef lunch special with chow mein (no bean sprouts requested) which came with a cheese rangoon and your choice of either egg drop or hot and sour soup. I asked for the mongolian beef to be made spicy to which he warned it was already spicy and asked of I wanted it even spicier. I replied, yes I like my food SPICY. Nothing usually gets me, or is satisfyingly spicy when it comes to spice unless I'm eating Thai food so I wasn't expecting much. Hot chili oil? Nope never spicy. Sriracha? Laughable. The food came out quickly and was a huge portion. The beef was the perfect mount of spice, I was in heaven! I must be crazy because it was so hot outside and now I'm eating this very spicy dish The chow mein was also very good and so flavorful (not your average bland lunch special chow mein).

I'm not in Sac that often, but the food, the customer service, and the affordability of Peace Cuisine with bring me back!

Another winner for Sacramento. Peace Cuisine although located in a random parking lot it definitely is worth the search! Rated a top spot in Sacramento safe to say it's earned the title. The portions were enormous and the flavor was on target. I just wish the kung pow chicken had a bit more heat and a variety of veggies. Despite the missing veggies and peanuts the kung pow chicken was still delicious. Everything tasted fresh and you know it's gonna be good when you hear yelling in the background lol. I would have sat here and ate because staff was so friendly but I opted to take it to go. You get more than what you pay for I split my food between four other people and we still didn't finish it all. The egg drop soup which I didn't get a picture of was also great!

we returned here after several years. We were in town and decided to see if this place has changed. we ordered the following:
Mongolian Beef over chicken fried rice ($12.95) :the dish was ok. the Mongolian beef had a soy sauce/vinegar flavor, with a just a little indication of spice. The beef was tender and the onions helped this dish. the rice soaked up the sauce. the portion was also very large-especially the rice that accompanied this lunch entree. It also came with a deep fried cream cheese wonton wrap as an appetizer and house soup-egg flower soup.
Salt and Pepper Pork with chicken chow mein ($11.95):another large serving. the pork was tender and the flavor was enhanced with the chili sauce they provided on the side. it needed more jalapeños to have any type of spice. the chow mein was very bland-even being flavored by soy sauce. I wanted to try a basic offering, but perhaps i should've ordered this entree with thin noodles instead. this lunch entree also came with the fried wonton and soup. this entree was just ok

the food here is more "American style" versus traditional chinese cuisine that you would find at places like Jade Fountain, Macau, or New Hong Kong Wok.

      Great Chinese spot.
More of a togo place vs a dine in restaurant for your family but exactly what I was looking for.

Great sized portions for the dinner combo with chow mein. I was starving and had some left over chow mein for lunch the next day.

I will be back to try some other dishes.

Picked up my wife from SMF and we both were craving Chinese food. With a YELP search I found Peace Cuisine and we were not disappointed! As soon as we walked in we were immediately greeted with a smile and seated. My wife and I ordered wonton soup, sweet n sour chicken, Mongolian beef, noodles and Kung Pao chicken. Each dish was full of flavor and the spices had a great kick. KUDOS to the chef.

The dining area and restroom were spotless. We will be back.

stumbled upon this Chinese restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing prices and delicious dishes. The honey walnut shrimp was a standout, perfectly crispy with a delightful sweet glaze. The chow mein was equally impressive, loaded with fresh veggies and flavorful noodles. A budget-friendly spot that doesn't compromise on taste - highly recommended!

We usually offer lunch price for customer picking up lunch special food before 5:15 or so. Without knowing when did you pick up the order or did you call in or walk in to order it’s hard to answer your concern
