~!!!Beware!!! DON"T CALL Peninsula Appliance Repair!!! DON"T TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE!!! Peninsula Appliance Repair is RUNIED our $800.00 Worth BOSH DISHWASHER!!!~

~ Charged $75.00 from us, who knows how much he charged from our home insurance company $$$? This company assigned to us by our home insurance, otherwise, we would have never chosen them, due to the their poor mannerism starting from the person who even answers the phone-calls, Rashan. Terrible company, not professional at all. It took them more than a week to send us a technician. The technician who diagnosed the problem said he was going to order a part which was going to arrive in couple of days and they were going to be back in a week to replace it. Even after 15 days, we did NOT hear back from them, apparently, they were even-4 days late to get an approval from our home insurance company for this part (while all the other companies gets their approval instantly when it is needed.) Since they did NOT call us as back it was promised in couple of of days, we have to call them back and listened to bunch of their excuses and they scheduled again to couple days later, making our dishwasher service now approximately -20 Days delayed- NO "sorries", No "being kind", No "god customer service"...On the contrary, the person on the phone was again extremely rude, acting like she doesn't even need your business, she literally says; 'if you don't want us call back your home insurance'. After waiting 20 days on a dishwasher service, ordering a part, dealing with a this type of an attitude just devastated us in extreme measure. How I wish the story would have ended like this, unfortunately, after they send their technician, we understood that the part they were talking about was the main circuit board of the BOSH Dishwasher. Although, the problem of the dishwasher seemed more plumbing related then the machine itself, we believe the companies technician's are not so experienced that, they thought charging the biggest bill to the home insurance company would solve our problem too. Of course IT DID NOT. IT MADE IT MUCH WORSE!!!! They literally ruined our $800.00 only couple year-old BOSH DISHWASHER in less than ONE MONTH....After they changed that circuit board, the dishwasher did NOT even work right, after we hit the START button, it worked for 5 min, then STOPPED the whole cycle, thinking it is all complete. The machine is completely ruined.
We called our home insurance company, they called the Peninsula Appliance Repair and they scheduled us again for a week later service. We also called Peninsula Appliance Repair hoping to talk to someone in charge to explain the problem and find a solution, as I have stated earlier, there are no supervisors available in this company who can address your concern. We have been told by the person who answers the phone that a supervisor/manager will contact us in 4 Days. We've been waiting. RIGHT NOW...When we were expecting "Peninsula Appliance" to repair our BOSH dishwasher, they left us with the BROKEN ONE...SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! SUCH A SERVICE!!!!

I just had my dryer worked on. It was not heating up. Made a call and was able to get an appointment within a week which I think is pretty good for all Covid things considered. Super easy to schedule. Then our technician Jan came over and was really wonderful. Very kind, on time, worked quickly and got the job done! Was very happy with him and the experience.

      Thank you!

If I could give negative stars I would.
This is related to this company's professionalism and a warning to companies and programs that contract this appliance repair company.
Please note that we received a fridge from PG&E's energy savings assistance program. Quality Conservation Services is the company that takes care of some of the things from that program, and the contracted company from QCS is Peninsula Appliance Repair.

Over a month ago (June 11th), my fridge broke down, and we called for repairs, and we were greeted 3 business days later by a technician who said that the parts they were ordering would arrive within 3 to 5 business days. Sure. Great. After 3 to 5 business days, we were not contacted to schedule an appointment nor did the technician return to our home. We called several times each week to get connected with the contracted company through QCS but received no callbacks or responses.

Over a month later, they asked for a text message to send pictures of an empty fridge so they could finally get working on the fridge. We sent the text messages to the number they indicated and received nothing. Another call to them and they asked us to send the pictures to another phone number. We finally received a response, only for them to leave us on voicemail with no callbacks. Another call and they schedule a date for us so we now have an appointment booked to repair our fridge. Great. But this has taken way too long, so my parents decided to complain to the BBB.

The complaint was about how long the response time was and how there were many negative reviews about the company with no sign of change or improvements. I received a call from their customer service and a person named Frank earlier today who then said that they are canceling their appointment because they don't feel safe sending their technicians to our place. Safe? Why are they feeling threatened when so many other people have had their property damaged due to careless or forceful behavior by their repairwork? Frank didn't want to resolve the complaint at all, just called my number to say, "Let's agree to disagree, and we are not sending technicians to your home."

Seems like this company is usually contracted as a third party. Make sure you ask who your contractors to repair your appliances are. Our fridge isn't repaired and I'd rather learn and get a certificate to repair than to ever seek this company again.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service. From the person who answers the phone, to the guy who calls himself a tech that comes to my house. JUST TERRIBLE!
Its now June 10th and Im still without a washer. It's been over 1 month and after 5 techs that have been out to my house, Im still without a washer. The 1st one that came out was to diagnose, I had to wait as the "parts were being ordered" I then called PAR (Peninsula Appliance Repair) as no one bothers to call me to tell me you must wait, or here are the parts, nothing. The 2nd tech comes out and was to "install" the part that the warranty company approved. After 10 mins, he says he is done and leaves. After I tried to turn on the washer it was not working, I called and the useless receptionist, was no help. Cant give you the sup/managers complete name, wont let you speak to him. I asked for the tech to be sent back to my house and after demanding it since he had just left my house, not even 20 mins ago, they send another tech out and come to find out that the part that was installed, was broken too.
After waiting again for the parts to be ordered I finally get another appt with another tech. A tech comes out Friday of last week 06/07, to just pull up to my driveway, call me and to tell me he cant do the service call because he forgot to bring all of the parts that need to be install.
I called the office and somehow I can speak to Frank, Im guessing he is the manager but he is just like the rest of them, he doesn't care. Was not even bothered that the tech was not prepared- Frank even said " He did go out to your address." Like if by the tech pulling up to my driveway was the way to get my washer fixed.
This morning 06/10 another tech comes out and he shows up, closes the work order, I then try the washer, it doesn't work. I call and Im being told by again, the useless person who answers the phone, that I must open a new claim with the warranty company. AFTER 5 visits, no washer, Im being asked to contact the warranty company again. Useless. USELESS!
Im beyond disappointed, disgusted that there are companies like these and are still in business. Never again will they be allowed into my home.

      DO NOT HIRE‼

Repair tech that was sent by Sears to service our dishwasher was rude AF. He asked us to leave the room because of "safety", but did not specify how much space he needed, so he ended up kicking out stuff...Not only he was disrespectful, he didn't even apologize. He blocks our driveway, so my partner can't even leave. He had to ask us where to park when there's a park next to us and the neighborhood doesn't have any cars parked on the sidewalk...we aren't even in a busy area nor apartment complex. He didn't even bother to disclose the repair or had us sign any paperwork.

I should have read the reviews before using this company. Now I know, beware a company that asks for a credit card up front. I was quoted $125 for an estimate, $200/hr for work, plus parts if needed. I get a charge for $375. I called, and they said I had talked to a different person, and it's a $250 flat fee to do anything, which in this case was remove a bit of ice from the fridge. What is somewhere between a $250 or $50 overcharge depending on how you look at it is not worth ever speaking to the horribly rude woman on the phone again.

0 fucking stars. Poor service. Lack of communication. They don't respect their customers time or value their service at all. They gave us a 4 hour window to show up and complete a service and they don't even show up. I have to call them to reach out first to see what's going on and they say they are running late (no notice given, no communication). We are not available after the 4 hour period so I ask to reschedule. Even getting a hold of someone on the phone is insanely hard and no one at the call center knows what's going on. Then the second time it HAPPENED AGAIN. STILL NO SERVICE. RUNNNING LATE. NO CALL NO COMMUNICATION.
      Worst fucking service.

Terrible communication, did not order parts, did not submit estimate to warranty company, did not return calls. No clue when my washer will be fixed, my contact has been with Peninsula since Wednesday and no part has been ordered
      Technician was nice.

The service call originated dro Frigidaire support for a new double oven with a lower door not closing completely.

The service tech was rude and told a brother-in-law and me (purchaser of the appliance) to leave and not watch.

I managed to look around the corner and saw him stuff folded rags at the hinge and force the door closed.

Afterward, the technician called us into the kitchen. He stated new hinges will be ordered and will be installed.

The door at the hinge was visibly more separated from the frame after his forced repair attempt.

I called Peninsula Appliance Repair to report the occurrence. The lady answering the call was uninterested and told me to get to the point. I told her not to send the same technician.

I strongly do not recommend this company for any appliance repairs.

The door to frame gap is worse.
The opposite side of the door.

I had to use this company because of an existing warranty... they are the worst at scheduling, customer service and workmanship.

Rating is 1 star because I can't rate negative stars.
