      This place is the best. Several other battery stores (Big O, O'Reilly) said it was a very complicated and expensive job to replace the battery for my 2015 Mercedes Benz. I went to Peninsula Battery and he had one installed in 10 minutes and at far lower cost than the others (including one that needed a Groupon coupon). Will definitely recommend to friends.

      We have been purchasing batteries from Peninsula Battery for over 10 years. They were always very helpful and usually had all the batteries we needed for our commercial trucks and mowers as well as for personal motorcycles and boats. Since taking new ownership, Daniel has completely transformed the image and feel of the store. The store is much cleaner, better organized, and the customer service is excellent! Prices are competitive to major retailers, but the "local store feel" is why we will continue to support Peninsula Batteries.

      I bought a battery from this place 3 months ago and today it died on me. I took it to my mechanic thinking it could be the alternator and my mechanic says that the battery i bought 3 months ago from Peninsula battery is not holding a charge. When i first got to Peninsula battery 3 months ago an old surly Asian man sold me the battery. The place looked shady and the only reason I went there is because it's near my work. I had to buy another battery today one my mechanic has heard of. My mechanic said that the battery Peninsula battery sold me he had never ever seen or heard of that brand. Don't go to Peninsula battery!!!! super shady poor customer service. I should have known better to go to Peninsula battery because when I was paying for the battery that day I remember there was a guy that came and complained about his battery and some African American guy that had to be the manager was saying sorry left and right about the issues he had. I left going hmm that was weird.

      Great place, plenty of parking, fair prices. This place has a few odd batteries for that one odd job that might come up. Highly recommend.

      Do not use this place sold me broken battery not holding charge and when I asked to return it wouldn't return it blamed policy, will not be recommending this place to anyone

      This is my go-to for batteries. The owner/ manager is very friendly and helpful. I had a super bad customer experience today by one of their employees. I was returning the core to get refund. I realized I forgot the receipt, he said he can't do the refund then I asked him to give the core back me and I will bring back the receipt and core together another time. All of sudden he started screaming and yelling and the shop is now closed which is not their closing time is at 5pm not 2:17pm. Since he took my core , I asked if he can wait for me to get the receipt back. He said no not today he decided to refuse service and even I brought back the receipt he would not issue refund and tell me to come back tomorrow to see his boss. I was out of the blue of his extreme action. Not sure this is the person you want to do business with. Watch out!

      I would be very skeptical of the bad reviews that a couple of people left here. I've been to this store and the products are very high quality. If you're looking for cheap products don't go here. The guy who runs it is efficient and super easy to deal with.

      RIPPED OFF!

      My husband recommended Peninsula Battery, as he's done plenty of business there. "Go the the local shop; the guys will take care of you there". It turns out, that was definitely not the case.

      I went to the shop looking for a beefy battery for my off-roading Jeep. The salesman went right to the shelf and said this one is the one you need. I said OK, and he asked if I wanted it installed for $20. (I was hoping for $10, but wanted it done so agreed to that). Then he said he needed to look up the price, and as he was ringing it up, it registered that he was charging me $290, which was more than 3x what a Costco battery would have cost!!! I said that out loud, but he demurred and said that it was too late to change my mind because his technician was already installing it! As he proceeded to charge me, I sort of recall him muttering that the $100 model probably would have worked for me too.

      What I should have done right then and there was to get angry and loudly insist that installation immediately stop, and that we talk about prices first. But I didn't think that fast in the moment. I left the shop feeling quite ripped off and taken advantage of.

      TO MAKE THINGS MUCH WORSE, the electric cooling fans had been directly wired to the battery. I didn't know that stuff, I'm not a car geek. The battery installer didn't notice it either, so 20 minutes later my engine overheats. It pegs out as I arrive to a service station, coolant boiling over. I told them about the new battery, but they think it's unrelated. They don't know about the special electric fan wiring, so they replace my water pump and thermometer (for $400) before they realize they didn't solve the problem. But of course they did charge me for the incorrect diagnosis, parts, and services, right? Eventually they realized the non-operating fans were the real source of the problem, so they re-wired those "for free".

      What a shitty expensive day.

      I have been very impressed with Sean, the manager of this store. His knowledge, communication skills, and service are the best of any Batteries stores.
      He stayed overtime to handle the replacement and installation of the battery. It required a minimum of my time and absolutely no hassle. Super efficient transaction.

      Additionally, he has generously educated me regarding 12volt power for RV. I am happy to buy batteries from Peninsula Battery.

      Thank you for such quality service!
