Peninsula Chimney Service

2nd property I used Peninsula Chimney Service. Both times they provided promt service, with fair and competitive pricing. Will use in the future, and would recommend them when you need fireplace service.

Jeff is amazing! Requested an evaluation to re-seal the chimney crown, and he used a sealant that is rated for at least 20 years. In addition, he recommended replacing my somewhat inadequate chimney cap with a full-sized chimney cap that prevents animal intrusion and does a great job of protecting the crown from the elements. Glad I did - the chimney looks better than ever, so much so that I think it might increase the value of the house!

Jeff is the best! Last year we had several companies inspect our chimney and offer suggestions on what we needed to get it operational. Jeff and Peninsula Chimney were the only company that I could trust and I'm glad I did. He did a great join fixing our chimney and now we have him service/clean the chimney each year. The guy's the best in the business.

Needed to have a missing cap placed on our chimney. A bird had fallen down the chimney and refused to leave. Contacted Peninsula Chimney Service and spoke with Jeff. He informed us that the best way to remove the bird was to allow the bird to seek its own way out. We opened the damper and back door hoping the bird would fly out. After a few days, no luck. I again contacted PCS informing him that we would need to delay installing the cap to give the bird a chance to fly out from above. Jeff was very patient. Three days later I inserted a camera up the chimney and no bird! It had somehow made its way out. Contacted Jeff a final time to set up an appointment. He was on time and completed the service as agreed. We would likely recommend Peninsula Chimney Service and Jeff.

Jeff is your guy. He replaced our chimney damper, cap and cleaned the flue after a prior company put in the incorrect cap etc. Jeff is knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend.

I needed a chimney inspector and reached out to Peninsula Chimney Service. Jeff called me back right away and was friendly, knowledgeable and communicative. He charged less than others would have charged, and he did a great job with a smile. If I ever need any help with my chimney, I will definitely call Peninsula Chimney Service and Jeff again. Jeff the owner was very responsive to text messages and was able to fit us into his busy schedule for a chimney lid installation. In only a few days we had a quote, measurement visit, installation all completed. Thank you Jeff!

Posting this because I am unable to respond to your response. Jeff, my review is nothing personal and 100% honest. If any place ignores my calls, they receive the lowest amount of stars. Is that fair to others that you are able to ignore call after call and not have any repercussions? How many others have called you but had their message disappear into a black hole? You wasted our time. At the very least, an acknowledgement of receiving the call but declining service would be acceptable. Ignoring calls is not 5 star service, it's zero star service. I value responsiveness and I believe others do too. No 5-star business ignores vm after vm. You do you and continue to scrub any truthful, negative reviews out there. Take care.

Jeff nailed it. Bought a house with a fantastic floor to ceiling fireplace, with water damage and wood rot all around the top in the ceiling. Disclosures said to "put a bucket" under the leaks in heavy rain.

Started talking to roofers, and some tried and failed (still needed a bucket), but one said it was the chimney not the roof. Jeff came by, inspected, and recommended that the mortar between bricks (eaten away over time by the elements and covered in moss, hint) had to be sanded down and redone.

Jeff did that, replaced the chimney cap, and even sealed all around the interface between the chimney and roof. The heavy rains of Dec '21 came and went without a drop. Perfection. And the workmanship is clearly excellent when you look at it, up close too.
