Peninsula Pool & Spa

We have had Peninsula Pool and Spa servicing our saltwater pool for over 5 years, I love that they are a local business and have great attention to detail! Tyler and Cory have been really helpful and know what they are talking about, able to answer any questions about the pool, pipes, solar etc. My pool looks better every summer, and through the winter they take just as good care of it even though we aren't using it.
Definitely recommend them as honest, reliable and very client oriented.

TC has been handling my pool for 1.5 years now. From the start, he has always been responsive, communicated well and takes care of any urgent needs. He's helped with pool equipment, set up a cover and more, all at very reasonable prices. One time the pool was turning slightly green and he had someone come over the same day with chlorine. It's been crystal clear ever since, and TC has mentioned is MUST always be like.

Martin handles the weekly maintenance, and is always friendly and thorough, always patient in explaining what's going on and how I can help take care of the pool.

They've done a great job for us and I would highly recommend to anyone!

Reached put to the owner asking to come over and giving us a quote, even emailed him a list of services currently being provided. He promised that his son would contact me and schedule a visit. Never happened

Horrible just on the phone. Upcharge to come to Moss Beach - give me a break - it's only 20 min away. HOrrible service before they even arrive.

Find someone else.

TC and his team, Cory and Tyler (his sons) are top-notch. My 20+ year heater finally gave up on me last week - unfortunately, I have a big event/pool party with over 50 people coming for the weekend. I have less than a week to replace the heater for this event. I have called two other companies, including Leslie's, who told me that it would take 2-3 weeks to have the heater ordered, delivered, and installed - I called TC and explained my situation, and he told me that he would talk to his team and make sure the heater is in stock. He called me the next day and assigned Cory to do the installation. The heater was in place the day before my event - and my wife and I couldn't be any happier. I have a 90-degree pool where my guests swim until around midnight! I've already been talking to him about updating my old system and perhaps replacing some old pipes- I found my pool guys for life! I will continue to work with TC and his team. One happy customer here!!!

We inherited our former pool service with our house ~six years ago. Bottom line, they were overcharging us, suggesting replacements for parts we did NOT need at double the retail cost + a multiple hour installation fee for something that takes 10 minutes according to the many reviews I saw online, and certainly they were purchasing it direct from the manufacturer at a price below 'retail'
When I asked a simple question about the replacement quote,, the office manager (at our former pool service company) went nuts on me via email, addressing things that made no sense and had absolutely nothing to do with the issue at hand. Fired them immediately.
I asked around our neighborhood if people liked their pool service provider, and no one had much to say about their service.
Unfortunately, I think the word is not out on the street about Peninsula Pool & Spa, so here is my yelp review to educate everyone!
From the moment I spoke with TC (the owner) on the phone, who is personable and transparent about pricing and service, to his son Cory coming out for the first time to take a look at our pool (and BEFORE I HIRED THEM fixed the issue in one minute that our former pool service company said would take two hours and a totally new part), to their consistent quality service each week and competitive pricing, I am so relieved to have peninsula Pool & Spa as our pool service provider.
I find their pricing to be spot-on for the high quality service they provide. I think I am paying about $10 more per month than I was paying our former pool service provider, and they were straight up awful and dishonest.
Peninsula Pool & Spa is a family run business, the owner is a licensed contractor, and they are honest, do not upsell you on parts you don't need, and get the job done, nor charge me based on zip code bias.
Cory does an excellent job servicing our pool each week!

TC, the owner of Peninsula Pool & Spa is one of the most knowledgeable pool experts I came across.

However, before I go into what makes TC absolutely amazing, you need to know this about me:
I'm top #1 MBA school, I love pools and know many things about them. For example, I can reassemble Polaris 360, I was able to balance my pool for many years without any outside help, I can also rebuild Hayward pump and its motor.

So, when I say TC deserves our love I truly mean it. First, TC asked for no money to asses the situation with my pool. Second, he drove to my house for free to get more data at 7am. Third, he was right about the next steps and I'm glad that I followed his free advice.

TC was non-pushy, genuine, and authentic. Most importantly, he was an expert in the pool service and equipment. Please please give him a call before you engage with any other "so-called pool experts". I promise you'll not regret it.
